Sorry about taking so long to right chapter two, and about how short it is. I've been kind of busy. I'm just writing each little part of his school year at a time, so don't expect long chapters.
Albus picks up his bags and walks towards the huge castle with his brother, James. He is very excited to be going to Hogwarts. Exiting the train, James tells Albus, "I've got to take the carriages, but, being a first year, Hagrid's going to take you and the other first-timers over in a boat. Have fun." Leaving his brother, James heads off in the other direction.
After watching his brother find a carriage, Albus looks for Hagrid and sees him by the lake, towering at least 5 feet over everyone. Walking in that direction, Albus sees that Hagrid is next to a fleet of small rowboats. "All ya first years, over here. Everyone get in a boat and await further instruction from me." Once all the first years were in the rowboats, Albus looked over the great expanse of the lake and marveled at its length. They were supposed to row across THAT! Suddenly, the boats leapt forth across the water far faster than any rowing could have propelled them. Holding on for dear life, Albus almost falls off!
Surprisingly, their ride is silent, so Albus can hear Hagrid tell them to hold on tight and not to let go. Like they need to be told that!
Soon they arrive at Hogwarts. Exiting the boats, Albus looks up at the castle and knows that he is in for one amazing year.
