Dragon, an american dragon: jake long fanfic

A.N.: It should be noted that this is my first American Dragon: Jake Long FanFic and it's JakeRose centered., YAY!

I'm fairly proud of this even as I DO know I made Rose OOC beyond repair (or am I exaggerating?) but hey, I like fluff!

Anyway, this is my first fic on this site and I'm hoping people will welcome me (even if not with open arms) nicely. ^^

Radiating joy was all that could be felt in the young girl's bedroom. The boy never thought his girlfriend could laugh so much, and even thou it's cliche, her voice was music to his ears.

Giving her flowers was one thing, but this was totally new to both of them. The boy watched with a smile as the snow-colored puppy licked happily at his new master's face. After a while the blonde and her new pet managed to calm down and she hugged her boyfriend.

" Thankx, Jake! This is the best present I've ever had!" She exclaimed.

" You're welcome. So, you gonna name him any time soon or are you just gonna leave him hanging?" Jake replayed and received a questioning look from the small k-nine.

" Hmm... I'll name him Dragon, 'cus he's gonna be the bravest puppy in the world!" She said lifting the newly named Dragon up in the air.

" He better be, this pooch cost a pretty penny." He joked making her giggle.

" That and he's a gift from the bravest guy I know!" She sugared him.

" Ah well, I wouldn't say that. On second thought. Yes, I would."

" Aww, shut up!" She said right before shutting him up.

" Anything for you, Rosey!"

It would've been awkward did her parents walk in on them but truthfully, they didn't much care. Dragon barked in protest when Rose accidentally hugged him a bit tighter, ruining the moment.
