Addicted to nacho cheese sunflower seeds.
Random, but so true.
Keeping my eyes closed, I reached underneath my pillow to stop the God awful vibrations that were starting to give my body a goddamn headache. Pushing on the small button that was on the side of my phone, the one that my fingers knew by hard, I smiled in mission accomplished after everything around me stopped buzzing.
ZzZzZzZZ ZzZ ZzZzZzZ...ZzZzZzZZ ZzZ ZzZzZzZ...ZzZzZzZZ ZzZ ZzZzZzZ...
"Oh give me a break, you sizzlin' piece of shit," I growled, yanking my cell from its spot as I rolled onto my back, "What the hell do you need with my hungover as a motherfucker being right now?"
"Well, good morning to you too, Princess."
"What do you want, Emmett?" I asked, not at all amused by his fucking amusement.
Silence.
I shook my head, or brain...it felt like. "I don't have all goddamn day, what's up?"
"So, I take it that you're still pissed off at me, h—"
And, I hung up on him.
Like I told the kid who picked up on a habit that I wasn't cool with...
I didn't have all day...
After deciding that I was going to head over to the Rez to pay J a visit, I hopped into the shower and got ready for the day, hoping that my buddy could tell me anything...fucking anything, as to what's going on in between Andy and my brother.
Heading down the stairs, I ignored Phil's presence when I saw him sitting on my Pop's recliner. "Good afternoon, Isabella," he whispered against the rim of the Coors Light can that he was holding, keeping his eyes on the TV screen, "It must be nice, having nothing to do but to sleep the morning away."
Walking over to the kitchen door, I pushed it open only to let it close a second later when I noticed that the room was empty. "Where's Renee?" I asked him after I turned around, finding it weird that she wasn't anywhere to be found, "I haven't seen her since I left for Emmett's yesterday."
Leaning forward, he placed his beer can on top of the table before he met my eyes, grabbing a hold of the remote to turn down the volume. "Your mother's hanging out with a friend of ours, is that okay with you? I didn't know that she needed your permission to do so."
"Right," I whispered with a roll of my eyes before I started walking over towards the front door, "Well, I'm going out...if Renee decides to show up before I get back, let her know that I'll be home some time later."
"Actually, I wanted to talk to you about something that happened today."
Looking over my shoulder, I raised an eyebrow at him as he gave the couch a nod.
"Why don't you just take a seat, Isabella, this shouldn't take too long."
Doing as the asshole said, or ordered...I sat back, placing my arms across my chest as he leaned forward and let his knees support his elbows, all the while keeping his eyes on my own. "So, what's this thing that you need to talk to me about?" I asked when he didn't say anything.
"You had a visitor today."
"A visitor?"
Leaning back into 'his' recliner again, he nodded. "Emmett, he came by earlier."
"Okay..." I said, not getting where he was going with this, "What did he want?"
"You tell me, Isabella."
"I don't know, Phil. Maybe it's because he couldn't get a hold of me this mor—"
"Does Emmett know?"
"Know what?"
"About the relationship that we share," he clarified, grinning at the anger that he saw as his gaze found my hands, the ones that turned into fists by my sides as I kept my arms crossed, "Or of the ways in which I discipline you whenever you do something wrong…tell me, Isabella, does my son have any idea of how you take it upon yourself to seduce me into having sex with you?"
"I..." My eyes, they fucking bugged out at his audacity, "I seduce you?"
"Of course," he whispered, cocking his head to the side after, "Isn't it obvious?"
Letting my hands fall down to my lap, I shook my head as I looked away from the asshole who seemed to have lost his fucking mind. "No, Phil. Your son doesn't know anything about that."
"I find that hard to believe." I met his eyes again. "He seemed a bit...off, when he stopped by earlier, asking for you. Emmett, he was upset about something and I'm just wondering what that something's about..."
"Was Em upset with you, Phil?" I asked, tired of this back and forth bullshit.
His eyes flashed with a rage that honestly didn't faze me. "I don't think so, no."
"Well then," I stood up, "I guess that you have nothing to worry about, yeah?"
Pushing himself off of the recliner as I walked past him, he stopped me from walking away from this 'conversation' that I've been done with by grabbing onto my jaw, and when he slapped my mouth with the hand that wasn't holding my face still, I hissed at the taste of copper that instantly started filling my mouth. "That goddamn attitude of yours, Isabella..."
Not giving him the chance to finish, I spit at his face...smearing its ugly ass self with the blood that his hit produced. "What's that goddamn attitude of mine going to give me, Phil?" I asked, smiling at the livid eyes that were on my own, "Another one of those bitch slaps?"
"You little — "
His arm, it fell from its swung back position as soon as the doorbell rang. Pushing me away, he wiped his face off with the bottom hem of the black shirt that he was wearing. "Go wash your fucking mouth," he gritted, "Now!" he growled as I remained in place.
Stepping into the kitchen when I saw him pulling the front door open, I walked over to the sink and turned it on, telling my body to go to hell as it started shaking something that I couldn't...fucking...stop, no matter how fucking hard I tried...
Hearing Emmett's voice in the other room, I closed my eyes as I let my head drop, placing my wet palms on top of the counter instead of having them do what they were supposed to do, which was to wash away the evidence of what just happened...
"Is uh, B...did she come downstairs yet, I need to talk to her."
"Actually, son...she just woke up," Phil said, and his goddamn voice, it held no nervousness whatsoever, making me nothing but fucking jealous of the calmness that it seemed to contain, "Why don't you take a seat, I'll go and let her know that you're here."
Filling my palms with water, I kept my eyes closed as I ignored the sound of his footsteps behind me. Leaning over when they stopped, I poured what I held over my face, inhaling at the tenderness that my touch provided when my hand ran over my mouth. "Your brother's here for you, Isabella," Phil's voice whispered into my ear, "Don't make me regret letting you talk to him, you hear me?"
I nodded, turning the water off.
"Go."
Turning around, I avoided his gaze as I walked past him, placing my hoodie over my head when I reached the door that was separating me from Emmett...Emmett, whose eyes immediately zeroed in on my face as soon as I stepped out into the living room. "Kiddo," he whispered, standing up from the couch that he was sitting on, "What the hell happened to your mouth? It's bl—"
Shaking my head, I stopped him from coming any closer, "It's nothing, Em," I said, ignoring his Pop's presence when the asshole placed himself next to me. "I mean...it's me, I'm a fucking klutz...you know this, it's not something new."
Placing one of his arms over my shoulders, Phil took over. "This one, she was running down the stairs...tripped over her feet and ended up hitting the banister on her way down." I lowered my head as he shook his own, laughing a laugh that had me grinding my goddamn teeth together. "I'm always telling her to be careful but, you know your sister..."
"Ever so stubborn," I whispered to myself, fed up with this little 'show' that he was putting on as I shrugged his arm off of me. Brushing past my brother, I shook my head at him when he called my name, "Now's not a good time for whatever you want to talk to me about, Emmett. I'll catch up with you later."
"Can you just give me a second?"
"No, I honest to God can't," I replied, knowing what his 'second' consisted of.
"Come on, B..." I heard him groan behind me and when I reached the front door, I stopped to listen to what he had to say because I couldn't not, after hearing how genuinely sad he sounded, "You...I mean, you have to talk to me sooner or later, I'm—I'm going fucking crazy over here, Kiddo. You can't just...you can't ignore me like this, I don't know how to handle it..."
Noticing that Em and I were alone after I looked over my shoulder, I turned around as I lowered my hoodie from my hair. "So, what?" I asked, placing my arms across my chest, "You're actually going to stand there and talk to me, no fucking bullshit?"
"That's why I'm here, B..." he whispered from across the room, "To talk to you."
"Alright," I said, "Talk to me, then. Start by telling me about last night's bullshit."
The floor, it captured my brother's attention all of a sudden. "It...it was nothing."
I laughed, shaking my head at the word that he used to describe what went down last night. "I...I don't even know who the hell you are right now, Emmett," I told him straight up, pulling the door open so that I could fucking leave, "I mean, are you for real acting like I'm supposed to be cool with you after what I saw at your place?"
"Ki—"
"Don't," I interrupted, holding one of my hands up to stop his try as I stepped outside, "That bullshit that meant nothing to you, it meant something to me and for you to just belittle the way that I feel about whatever happened by acting like it never happened?" I shook my head, "It's not going to fly. You won't hear me talking to you until I hear you talking to me. Until then, Em...do what you gotta do, I guess."
"I..." he paused, shaking his head as he lowered it once more. "I'm sorry, B."
"Me, too," I whispered, leaving the door open as I turned around, "Me, too."
Pulling up into J's yard, I rolled my eyes when I noticed the animated conversation that he was in the middle of having with whoever he was talking to on his cell, or better yet...yelling at, while his eyes remained on the car that he was getting ready to work on.
"Jake!"
Looking over at me after I parked my truck, he grinned, letting the hood that he was holding up drop. "I gotta go," I heard him tell whoever before he hung up, keeping his attention on me as I stepped out of my truck, "Damn, Bells...why didn't you tell me that you were coming by, I could've told my pop...old man's been dying to see —"
"Tell me what's going on with Em and Andy," I interrupted, walking over to him.
His eyes, they turned into slits when I reached him. "What the hell happened to you?" he asked, only to place his arms across his chest after I leaned away from his hands when they went to grab a hold of my jaw, "Oh, so that's how it is, though?"
"My brother, he's hanging out with Andy, Jake. Tell me what the fuck you know."
"Andy?" he asked, or accused...seeing as to how he walked past me a second later...
Grabbing onto his arm as soon as I noticed that he was heading over towards my truck, I stopped Jacob Black's intention, which involved seeking out some kind of a revenge, I'm sure. "You driving around town, looking for trouble...it's completely unnecessary, J," I told him, pointing at my mouth afterwards, "Andy, he had nothing to do with this. I did it to myself, tripping down the fucking stairs earlier."
"No bullshit?"
I nodded, lowering my head as I placed my hands into the pockets of my hoodie.
"What were you trying to do, kiss your living room's hardwood floor?"
"Talk to me, J," I said, meeting his eyes again, "Tell me something."
"B, if I honestly knew what their deal was, I would've already told you by now..."
"How can you not know, though?" I asked, "I mean, that's your boy right there..."
"Yeah well, I've been tied up ever since I came home...working non - fucking - stop, around the clock...same with him, supposedly. Last night was the first time that I got the chance to actually hang out with your brother." He shrugged and I could tell, just tell...that he wasn't feeding me lies. "Seeing that asshole at Em's place, watching the two of them talking like they knew each other from back in the day...it shocked the shit out of me. I honestly didn't know what the hell to make out of it."
"I'm..." I groaned at the sense of defeat that ran through my blood, "I feel like I'm losing my fucking mind over this, man. I don't understand what's going on, or how I'm just finding out about their all of a sudden friendship. Something's not right..."
"Tell me what you know," he whispered, "You've seen him more than I have..."
Knowing that he'd flip a shit if I were to ever tell him about what happened last night, I shrugged. "I don't know a single fucking thing…" I whispered, looking down at my chucks, "If I did, I wouldn't of bothered you with this shit, Jake..."
The goddamn nerve that I had, the one that made lying to him seem so easy, it...God, it bothered me something hard but, man...if he found out that my brother was using, there'd be no stopping him, he'd have a fucking field day. He'd for sure think of it as an excuse, an opportunity of some sort that would grant him permission to let everything out of the bag and on a serious note, was I ready for all of that?
Not at all.
Knowing how I feel about drugs in general and how hurt I'd be by Em's habit, Jake would without a single fucking doubt ram him a new asshole by telling him that the dude who he's been hanging around with used to sleep with his little sister...and then, cut to a motherfucking crime that would end up putting Emmett in jail.
"Hey," My eyes opened as he patted my hip, "I'll talk to the dick, see what's up."
Giving him a smile, I shook my head before I stepped up to him so that I could wrap my arms around his waist. Pressing my face against his chest as he returned the hug, I closed my eyes. "It's alright, J...don't worry about it. I'll figure something out."
"Are you sure, B?"
"More than sure."
"You'll let me know if you need me, though?" he asked, the whisper against the top of my head making me lean back a bit so that I could look up at him, "I don't want you stressing over bullshit that I can easily take care of, Bells. Em's my boy, don't get me wrong but, you and I...we practically grew up together."
I snorted, letting my arms drop down to my sides. "You were nothing but a punk."
"And you were nothing but a fucking hater," he replied, grinning as he shrugged.
I rolled my eyes, mumbling an "Alright" as I pulled him down for a kiss, "I'm out."
As soon as I reached the front door to Andy's place, I ghetto knocked that bitch.
Oh yes, motherfuckers...
Cause it was so going down like that.
You all better believe it.
The red-haired broad that I 'met' before, she was the one who pulled the door open after a full minute, looking all sorts of pissed off...which, mind you...only added to the goddamn anger that's been kicking my fucking ass ever since I left J's, for I had no time for the bullshit that I knew that I'd be receiving in the next...
"And what the fuck do you want?"
"And where the fuck's Andy at?" I asked, mocking her shitty attitude right back.
She rolled her pretty little eyes at me and just...stood there, acting like she could block my entrance as she placed her arms across her chest. "Andy never mentioned anything about you coming over here, so..." a pop of her gum, "I thi—"
"Oh move the fuck over, hooker," I spat as I pushed the bitch out of my goddamn way, ignoring the dramatic gasp that left her throat while I stepped into the living room, "Acting like you're some kind of a bouncer up in this joint, bitch please..."
"Bella?" Looking away from the broad's glare that I was seconds away from laughing at, my eyes found Jasper's form as he stood up from the couch that he was sitting on, "What uh, what are you doing here?"
"What am I doing here?" I laughed, "No, how about, what are you doing here?"
Heading over towards me, Blue Eyes gave the 'tough little shit' who 'let me in' a nod, telling her to give us a minute. Returning his attention back to me after the broad left us alone, Jasper pulled the door that I closed behind me open. "I'm phening for a cigarette…"
I nodded, shrugging at his raised brow as I stepped to the side. "Have a blast."
"Come with me?"
Rolling my eyes at the kid's attempt, I shook my head at his offer before I started heading over towards the kitchen. "You got that, dude. I, on the other hand, got an asshole that I need answers from so, I'll catch up with you later."
And, I stepped back after I reached the kitchen door...only to kick the bitch open.
Cause, once the hell again...that's how it's done, when shit's about to get serious.
At the commotion that I caused, Edward and Andy, who were both standing in front of the counter, looked over their shoulders. "Bella, what..." closing the little notebook that he was holding, the one that I was raising an eyebrow at, Sex hair dismissed my curiosity by returning his attention back to his buddy, "What's she doing here?"
I answered Edward for Andy, with a "Me. You. Your bedroom. Right now."
"Damn, baby," the asshole grinned, taking my glare the wrong way, "All that you had to do was ask." Walking away from the counter that Edward was still standing in front of, Andy missed the narrowed eyes that were directed at the back of his head. "Before we get to that, though...I gotta stop by the corner store for a pack of smokes...can you hang out for a minute?"
I gave the moron a smile that honest to God hurt my fucking mouth. "You bet."
"I'll be back," he said, giving the bottom hem of my hoodie a tug as he passed me.
Turning around after Andy pulled the door open, I went to follow but of course...
Edward goddamn Cullen stopped me by grabbing a hold of my arm as soon as I stepped out of the kitchen, "Hey," he growled, pulling me back inside, "What are you doing?"
"What is it with you people!" I hissed, shoving him away from me as soon as I faced him with a glare that he easily matched, "Grabbing me all of the fucking time, shit!"
Pushing me aside when I tried to leave again, the prick blocked the door, saying my name in some slow 'you better listen to me or else' type of a way that I ground my teeth together at, "Whatever you're planning in that fucking head of yours, it needs to stop. Now."
I laughed at the kid, because no lie...he's seconds away from getting knocked out.
"Stop," he repeated, his voice low as he grabbed a hold of my hand, "Let's go."
Pulling my hand away from his own, I shook my head. "I'm not going anywhere."
"You need to go home," he gritted, his jaw tense now, "So go the hell home, Bae."
"I'm staying, dude," I walked over to the table and took a seat, "You're free to go."
"I'm not going to just leave you here."
Leaning back into my chair, I shrugged. "Then get the fuck comfortable, yeah?"
"Jesus Christ," he snapped, stomping over to where I sat, "Get the fuck up, Bella."
I snorted, placing my arms across my chest. "Get the fuck real, Edward."
"Alright so you have two goddamn choices here," the kid started as soon as his name finished coming out of my mouth, "You can either follow me out of this house like a civilized human being or have me carry you out of this house like a child that doesn't know how to fucking act right. Honest to God, I'm letting you decide so, do what you gotta do, but...keep in mind, that whether we do the shit your way or mine, your ass is leaving Andy's place."
I rolled my eyes, looking away from him. "God, man...what's taking him so long?"
"On the count of three, Bella."
"Are you sure that you know how to count that high?" I asked, meeting his eyes.
"One."
Calling his bluff, I pssh'd his one, crossing my leg over the other like brrriiing it.
"Two."
Looking at him, I shrugged like dude, please...go on to the fucking three already.
"Two and a half..."
I yawned, keeping my eyes on the clock that was on the wall. "Three," I finished for him...only to yelp in surprise a second later, because how in the heeeeeell...am I over his shoulder all of a sudden? "Hey, put me down!" I growled when I noticed that he was leading us over towards the kitchen door, "I'm fucking warning you, Edward!"
"Are you going to listen to me if I put you down?"
"Yes, damnit!" I shouted, lying out of my ass.
As soon as he put me down, his hips, they quickly moved to the side before I got the chance to knee the dude that they were attached to, "Yeah, Bella?" the free-of-any-nut-pain piece of shit grinned with his hands over my shoulders, "That's all you got?"
I shook my head before I jumped on his foot, to show him more of what I got.
"Alright," he hissed, grabbing a hold of my leg when he noticed that I was two seconds away from repeating my demonstration, which...mind you...left the both of us in some awkward as all hell kind of a goddamn position, "Are you going to stop, Bae?" the kid asked me like a moron who actually believed that I honestly would.
With my hands on his shoulders, I jumped and used my other foot to step on him.
"That's it," he snapped and before I had the chance to even think about what his next move might be, he had me tossed me over his shoulder once again and out of the kitchen.
"Cullen, what...what are you doing, man?" Blue Eyes asked, shooting up from the couch that he was laying down on when he saw Edward carrying my kicking form, "Judging from the glare that she's giving me, our girl doesn't look like she wants to be handled the way that she's being handled right now..."
"We're leaving," my kidnapper told his buddy, who at hearing his words, became an accomplice as he started following us out of Andy's house, "Chick's out of her goddamn mind, wanting to start shit that doesn't need to be started."
Using the fingers that weren't gripping onto the back of his tee, I pinched the kid's side. "Ha!" I laughed something that sounded a whole lot more like a growl after I heard the yelp that he failed to hide, "What a fucking pussy, man!"
Ignoring my name calling, Edward kept on walking as he headed down the street...
Until I slapped his ass. Then, he froze. "Oh yeah! How's that feel, you piece of shit!"
"You tell me," he growled before he took it upon himself to slap the shit out of my ass, making me in return hiss as I ground my teeth together, "Motherfucking stings, yeah?"
Remembering that we weren't alone, my eyes found the blue ones that witnessed the undeserving abuse that I received a second ago, the very ones that were connected to a man who was seriously just...standing there, a couple of feet away from us, with his arms across his chest and with tightly pressed together lips that showed me that he was kind of amused by what happened. "Oh, so this is funny to you, Jasper?" I asked him by yelling into Edward's ear, all the while ignoring the groan that my tone of voice earned itself as we started moving again, "Are you fucking kidding me with this bullshit, dude? How are you just...following us right now, acting like you can't fucking help me when I obviously need your goddamn hel—"
My words, they stopped as soon as I was lowered down to the ground and when I noticed that we reached Edward's car, I laughed...only to laugh even harder at the commanding "Get in" that I heard after the moron pulled the passenger's side door open, "Bella, I'm in no...fucking...mood."
"If I were you, Cullen...I wouldn't place my ass anywhere near that seat right now." Placing my arms across my chest, I shook my head at the kid who was now standing in front of me, "Knowing how goddamn pissed off I am at you, your bank account'll be empty in no time, paying to fix that beautiful leather that I'll without a doubt have destroyed by the end of this ride that I am sooooooo not...fucking...taking."
Placing his hands on top of the roof, Edward took another step towards me before he lowered his face down to mine. "Come on now, Bae, keep it real," he whispered, smirking something that I'd narrow my eyes at if his mouth wasn't as close as it actually was, "Acting like you'd damage any part of this machine that you're deeply in love with is total bullshit, and you know that."
I growled, pushing his sweet smelling self away from me. "Try me, you fuck-tart."
Rolling his eyes, Edward gave me a totally didn't see that coming kind of a shove that had me falling back...only to quickly grab a hold of my legs and bend them at the knees to get the rest of my body inside the car as soon as my fucking ass landed on the passenger seat. "Oh yo—"
With a crooked smile that I wanted to sucker punch, the prick slammed the door shut in my face before he dismissed my dropped jaw by turning around to lean against the window. "This motherfucker is about to get it," I whispered to myself as said motherfucker started talking to Jasper.
Looking through my bag, the one that was wrapped around my shoulders, I grinned something huge when I found a pen. Uncapping it, I whispered a sincere apology to my beloved, telling God's creation that I had to do what I had to do as I turned my back to the door so that I could lean over the center console.
And, mmhmmm.
I, no lie, talked to the goddamn car.
Bite me, bitches.
Writing all over the kid's leather seat, I pressed a little harder to rip certain parts.
Bella Swan's got some...anger issues.
As you people can gather.
I warned him though, so eh, his bad.
While I was dotting the 'i' in bitch, my kidnapper...I guess that you could say that he noticed the motherfucking masterpiece that I simply referred to as art, seeing as to how he nearly tore the door off of its goddamn hinges when he yanked it open...only to then jump on top of me. "Are you fucking ins—let the fuck go, Bella!" 'Shaq' growled against my ear, squeezing the joints out of my digits and in return, making me drop the instrument that I used to destroy what I warned him that I'd destroy, "Christ!" he yelled, lifting his chest from my back as he sat up, "I can't believe that you fucking did that, man!"
"I fucking warned you, Edward!" I spat, using my ass to shove his own out of the car as I literally backed it up, and quickly at that. Turning around to face him, I stood on my knees, pointing a finger at him, "You're the one who decided not to listen to me! Therefore, I am held unaccountable!"
"You little —" grabbing a hold of my waist, the kid pulled me out of the car, "You're going to regret that you ever fu—" he tossed me over his shoulder, "I'll show you unaccountable like you've never — " slamming the passenger's side door shut, he yanked the one next to it open, "I can't believe that you...I honest to God can't even..."
"Oh shut up!" I shouted above him, "Can't even finish a single goddamn sentence!"
Tossing me onto the back seat, he ignored my growl by turning his attention over to Blue Eyes, who shook his head, "No way, cuz," he said with his hands raised, "Don't even think about asking me to — "
"I'm ten seconds away from murdering a broad, Jasper…ten fucking seconds away."
"Rel—"
"Get in there with her."
"Cullen, I don't thin—"
"You'll be doing me a fucking solid that I'll owe you for for the rest of my life..."
"You're like, soooo dramatic. Lower your pants, I want to see if you own a dick."
Edward's fingers, they formed into fists at my words and as soon as he ducked to step inside, Blue Eyes laughed an "Alright," quickly grabbing a hold of his arm to pull him away from me. "Let's all just...chill out. I got you, E...go start the car."
I shrugged at the 'look' that Jasper gave me as he slid in next to me. "Don't fucking even, dude. He's the one who started shit when he fucking carried me out of Andy's place, acting like a goddamn fool. Edward Cullen, he's nothing but a bitch with a God complex," I let the both of them know, after the bitch himself pulled the driver's side door open.
"You're the bitch," he growled before he groaned a heartbroken groan, looking down at the leather that my pen enjoyed destroying, "My...my motherfucking seat, man..."
Lifting my knee up to my chest after he sat down, I kicked the back of the kid's seat and he cursed, trying to act all tough as he looked over his shoulder with a glare that I scoffed at. Jasper, he stopped me from repeating the karate move by slapping my foot away from its raised position and pulling me back, "You're just asking for it now, Brown Eyes," he laughed, tucking me underneath his arm, "Let the guy get us home safely, will ya…"
"Bae?"
Opening my eyes, I lifted my head from Jasper's shoulder and looked around. "I...I fell asleep, though?" I asked myself, before I noticed that we were all still in the car, driving down some street, "Where are you taking me, Cullen...across the fucking border?"
"What's your favorite kind of music?"
Letting my temple fall back down to the warm spot that it was previously resting on top of, I rolled my eyes before I closed them. "I don't have a favorite kind, Edward."
"So, what, you like every kind then?"
Tired of trying to figure out why he even cared, I nodded. "I guess so, man...I don't know, I mean...everything except country, I'll listen to...cause who likes being depr—"
'Well I ain't never
Been the Barbie doll type.
No I can't swing that sweet champagne,
I'd rather drink beer all night...'
"I absolutely love this fucking shit," Edward let me know, smiling at the narrowed pair of brown eyes that his 'fascination' received as he looked over his shoulder, bobbing his head to the beat that continued to blare throughout the car, "I'm a red-neck-woman, I ain't no high-class-broad, I'm just a product of my raisin' and I say hey ya'll and yee haw!"
"And I keep my Christmas light—"
My palm landed on Jasper's mouth as soon as he started singing along with Cullen.
"Don't…encourage him, Blue Eyes."
He nodded so I let my hand drop, only to groan when he shouted a "Yes, Ma'am!"
Turning my attention over to the front seat, I glared at Edward, whose goddamn shoulders were shaking pretty fucking hard from cracking up. Stopping at a red light, the prick met my heated gaze and pursed his lips together as he pretended to 'catch me' with the 'rope' that he swung around me. "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ha—"
I sat up and smacked the back of his head, thoroughly interrupting his bullshit.
Edward's top lip, it twitched with anger and I, in response, gave him the middle finger as I leaned back into Jasper's side again, wearing a wide as all hell smile. "God, my fucking chucks, man. I must've stepped in some heavy duty dog shit earlier cause like, all of a sudden, that's all that I'm smelling up in here," I stated before I placed the bottom of what never, ever, stepped in dog shit against the head rest that was connected to the bitch's seat, "Why don't you sniff them out for me, Cullen...tell me if I'm right."
And when I heard the low growl of disgust that came from the front, along with the snickering that shook my shoulder beside me...I closed my eyes, satisfied that I won the motherfucking game that Edward Cullen thought that he played so well...
Smiling in my sleep, I snuggled deeper into the pillow that my cheek was resting on as the smell of clean laundry seeped through my being…the feeling of someone staring at me, though…it disrupted the all around peace that I was trying to enjoy…
Opening my eyes, I saw the creepers that consisted of my two favorite broads.
"Up and at em!" Rose sang at the same time that Pixie screamed a "Wakey wakey, eeeeggs and bac-eeeeeeee!" that had me cringing away from their morning happiness.
Noticing that I was laying down on Rose's living room couch, I sat up, "Uh...what am I doing here?" I asked the chicks who were sitting in front of me, on top of the table.
My main bitch, she remained quiet as she handed me a coffee mug, looking at me in that magical type of a way that I rolled my eyes at before I moved them over to Pixie, who started talking with a "Sooooooooo, tell us already, Bella Boo...what was it like?"
"What was what like?"
Rose smiled at me. Alice on the other hand, glared something lethal.
"You guys are retarded," I said after a minute, dropping my feet down to the carpet, "I have no idea what the fuck you two are talking about, let alone thinking about..."
"Cut the shit, Honey B," Rose started as I brought the mug up to my mouth to take a sip of the caffeine that I clearly needed for the day, "How was it when he got it in?"
I choked, spraying the both of them with what I didn't swallow. "What the fuck?"
"So?" Rose and Alice asked, wiping down their tees as I ran a sleeve over my lips.
I shook my head, leaning forward to place my mug in between them, "So nothing," I replied, tossing my blankets at them before I stood up, "Edward and I, we're just friends. Hardly even that, if I'm keeping it real."
"Right," they both said, in unison once the fuck again.
"That kid irks my life ninety nine percent of the time," I told them, in all honesty.
The Pixie Dust rolled her eyes, mumbling a low but totally fucking heard "Denial, it's a bitch" against Rose's lips after she gave them a kiss. "Alright, hookahs," she said what was meant to be said out loud this time, standing up and throwing me a wink before she started heading over towards the front door, "I got a little somethin' somethin' that's waiting for me at home, so...I gotta go. I'll see you two later."
Looking over at my brother's girl after the door shut behind Jasper's, I groaned at the whole staring thing that she was currently bringing back into the mix. "And here you go again, eye fucking me like you're some kind of a closeted lesbian. Honest to God, dude...you got me second guessing that whole concept that you 'claim' to have...that 'I'm strictly dickly' one that you've been 'supposedly' maintaining..."
Standing up, she smirked something that I raised an eyebrow at. "Dick's my shit, B. Always has been, always is, and always will be. Don't believe me? Ask your brother. He'll tell you how much I appreciate the one that's attached to his body. The one that's been rockin' the hell out of my p—"
I gagged, cutting the bitch off as I turned around to head over to the bathroom.
"But on a real note," Rose started again, following me into the small ass room that should be reserved for one individual...not two, "Tell me what you ended up doing with Edward Cullen last night. It had to of been...I mean, fuck, Honey B...you were all spent, sleeping in the kid's arms while he carried you inside, looking all smug and whatnot."
Rolling my eyes at her 'observation,' I walked over to the toilet before I turned around to lower my jeans and panties down to my ankles. "What's up?" I asked the expression of absolute disgust that was marring her otherwise beautiful features, taking a seat on what I needed to take a seat on in order to do what I had to do...
Which was to fucking piss.
Not to discuss boys.
Obviously.
"You do realize that I'm in here, right?"
"Where, in the bathroom?" I asked, reaching down to grab a hold of the magazine that was laying on the floor by my feet, "The bathroom that keep in mind, you decided to follow me into, thinking that I'd want to what, talk about the weather?"
Rose remained silent.
Soo, I started pissing.
After I was done with that, I sat back with a smile that was directed at the dropped jaw that my antics created. "Speaking of weather," I continued, getting comfortable by placing my hands on top of the magazine that was covering my lap, "Last night, I...man, I ended up having Wendy's and unfortunately for you, the whole meal, it was devoured within like...no lie, three minutes, so...consider this my warning, bitch, because, whatever comes out of me next...it might, honest to God...blow you awa—"
"Fucking sick," she hissed, before leaving and slamming the door shut behind her.
I snorted at the expected quick retreat, wiping my cooter. Standing up, I pulled my jeans and panties back on...only to freeze when I heard the front door being swung open. "Rose, I swear to God!" Emmett's voice rang out, echoing throughout the entire goddamn apartment, "Avoiding me all fucking day, where the hell have you been hiding?"
As soon as I went to step out into the hallway, Rose was right there, pushing me back into the bathroom and closing the two of us inside. "Why the hell is Em yelling at you like that?" I asked, pissed off by the tone that he was using with her, "What, is that how he fucking greets you nowadays?"
"Honey B..." she grabbed a hold of my arms when I went to push her away from the door that she was now guarding, "Can you just—listen, do me a solid, alright?"
"A solid? Rose, what's g—"
"Can you go to the corner store for me?" she interrupted me at the same time that I started hearing random shit getting tossed around outside, "I'm—I'm fucking ragging and...I completely forgot to pick up a box of tampons when I went shopping earlier."
I grabbed a hold of her hands when I noticed that her body was shaking. "Rose, God, tell me what the hell's going on, man...you're...you're fucking scaring me right now..."
"Where did you hide it, Rose?" Em shouted, "Tell me where you fucking hid it!"
"Stay here," she whispered, letting go of my hands to pull the door open, "I'll be right back, don't…just don't leave this room."
And yeah, I listened to what I was told to do for a total of twelve seconds before I ran out of there as soon as I heard what sounded like glass shattering. Reaching the living room, I...I just froze, taking into account everything that I was fucking seeing.
The TV screen, it was completely broken, shards of shiny material...everywhere.
The tables were turned over...
The couch, it was on its side.
And the cushions that belonged to it, they were tossed, laying all over the room.
And as my brother ran out of the kitchen and over to the bookshelf...only to start throwing the shit that was on it over his shoulder...my eyes, they fucking popped out of their sockets. "Emmett, what th—what the hell are you even doing right now?"
Dismissing my bewilderment, Em continued searching for whatever it was that he was frantically searching for, not even bothering to look over at me while his hands ran along the empty selves. "Bella, just...mind your own fucking business, alright..."
"Hey!"
He turned around, yelling a "What?"
"What the hell is going on here, I..." paused, because as soon as I noticed Emmett's eyes...the ones that were now a whole lot darker than the usual light shade of blue that I was used to, I lost every single ounce of respect that I had for the kid. "No..."
Running his fingers underneath his nose, he turned around to face the shelf again.
"Jesus fucking Christ!" I yelled, "You're high on coke, though?!"
"And what if I am, B?" he asked, keeping his back to me as he tossed the bookshelf over...just like that, with an ease that I fucking despised, "What are you going to do about it, huh?"
"Where's Rose?"
"Who the fuck cares," he growled, kicking shit away from where he was standing.
Wanting to show him who the fuck cared, I took a step forward only to stop short as soon as I heard something coming from the kitchen. Turning around, I headed that way and after pulling the door open, my jaw dropped. "I...I'm sorry but I must be seeing shit," I told my girl, who...at the sound of my voice, looked up from the floor that she was picking broken pieces of glass off of, "Are you...tell me that you're not on your fucking knees right now, Rose..."
"I droppe—"
Walking over to her, I grabbed a hold of her arms before I pulled her up from where she was sitting, "Are you fucking serious with this bullshit, Hale?" I growled, looking over her hands for cuts that I'll never forgive my brother for. "Telling me...me...that you 'dropped it?' Why are you acting like you're that type of a chick right now, the one who's 'cool' with being treated the way that Emmett has apparently been treating you?"
She shook her head, lowering it. "You...it's not like that, B. You don't underst—"
"How long has he been acting like this?" I asked, taking a hold of her hands...
The ones that she snatched back, before using to push me away from her. "Go."
"Go?" I asked, hurt, "What the hell is going on in this goddamn apartment?"
"Leave!" she yelled, her eyes burning with anger, "I—I want you to fucking leave!"
Beyond livid, I walked out of the kitchen and right over to my brother, who was on all fours, pushing things aside as he crawled around the living room, looking so goddamn pathetic, it wasn't even funny. "What did you do to her?" I growled a second before I started using my fists, whose punches to the back were put to a quick stop when he grabbed a hold of my waist and tackled me down to the floor, "What the hell have you been doing to her, Emmett? Tell me!"
"Nothing," he gritted from on top of me, "Why the hell are you hitting me for?"
"Get off of me."
"Kiddo, wha—"
I spit in the dude's face, showing him exactly how I fucking felt by his 'kiddo' and he in return, after a few seconds, let go of my wrists with eyes that held nothing but sadness, an emotion that I noticed at once, one that honest to God didn't affect me at this very instant, at all...as I pushed him off of me and stood up.
"Bella, I'm s—"
"Save it," I interrupted, keeping my back to him as I reached the front door, "I don't even care anymore, Emmett. This whole thing, whatever the fuck's been going on, you're on your own, man. I'm so fucking mad at you right now, it's not even...it's not even..."
"I know," I heard him whisper behind me, "I mean, yeah, I get it, I understand..."
I shook my head, pulling the door open, "But you don't," I told him before I stepped outside, "Because if you actually did 'get it' or 'understand,' then this wouldn't of happened in the first place."
