Sorry it took so long in doing the epilogue for this part of the story...

I have so much in my mind...And I couldn't decide on how to end this part...It still feels a little ifey and short... But I tried. haha =)

I laughed as I looked over to my right. Sweat was starting to form on his forehead as he had his eyes closed, looking like his existence was coming to an end. "What is wrong with you, dude?"

"Bella," he whispered as he opened his eyes, looking at me in some serious type of way. "You sure this is a good idea?"

I rolled my eyes as I pulled up to Esme and Carlisle's place. "Jordan, you're good, chill out."

He groaned, looking around at the house. "Dude."

"Duuuddde," I mocked him, opening my eyes dramatically.

He grinned, shaking his head. Looking over at me as I put the truck in park, he raised an eyebrow. "Alright, how many dudes are in there?"

I grinned as I turned off the truck before taking the keys out of the ignition. "Why are you this nervous, Jordan? It's not like I'm…I don't know, introducing you to my parents or some shit."

He rolled his eyes as he looked out the window. "I know."

I turned in my seat so that I was facing him, my back up against the door. "It's just a dinner, on a regular Saturday night, nothing special."

"I know," he mumbled before turning around, mimicking my position.

I lowered my gaze down to my lap, shaking my head. Looking back up at him, I raised a brow. "You know…I didn't change my mind." I looked away, playing with the bottom hem of my hoodie, "You don't think that we're togeth—"

"No," he interrupted, causing me to meet his eyes. "I know how you feel about that."

I nodded. "Goo—"

"Even though," he whispered, interrupting me, "I feel differently."

I groaned, closing my eyes as I placed the back of my head against my window. "Jordan, come on, not with this shit again."

He laughed as he shook his head. "Don't worry about it. I get it. No relationships."

"I thought we talked about this when we met," I whispered, looking away from him. "I mean, if you're looking for something more than what I'm giving you, then maybe we shouldn—"

I stopped when I felt his hand on my knee. Looking back over at him, he grinned. "I'm good, Bella. I'll take what I can get."

I smirked as I raised an eyebrow. "Is that right?"

He nodded, smiling as he leaned over the center console. I grimaced a bit as he wrapped his fingers around my stiff neck. When his lips were right there, I turned my head to the side before they hit my cheek. He laughed something not meant as he leaned away from me. "Don't you think that we passed the whole kissing stage?"

"It's not you, it's me?" I teased.

He grinned as he let his hand drop from around my neck. Leaning back into his seat, he shook his head at me. "God, I feel like I'm the chick in this non relationship."

I laughed as I dropped my keys into my bag. Looking over at him, I raised an eyebrow. "Well, stop acting like a little bitch then."

He lifted his hands up beside him with a grin. "Got it."

I nodded as I reached for the door handle. His hand around my arm stopped me and I met his eyes again. "What's up?"

"I hate dogs."

"Okay?" I asked with scrunched eyebrows, not understanding why he was telling me this shit now. "I guess that's good to know?" I finished.

His face fell as he lowered his head, his eyes on his lap.

Should I, uh…

Is this the part where I tell him something that I don't enjoy?

This is beyond fucking weird.

"Well, I hate soggy panca—" my words died as he nodded towards the house, his one eyebrow raised. I looked over at the house and then at him again, still not getting it.

"They got him tied up, right?"

"And who are we talking about exactly?" I asked, looking at him like he was crazy.

He scrunched his eyebrows together, lifting his hand to rub the back of his neck. "I think that his name's Jake, if I'm remembering correctly?"

I ran my hand along my mouth, pursing my lips as I tried holding back my grin. "Jordan, what are you talking about?"

He narrowed his eyes at me. "Your friend Rose told me that you guys had some sort of crazed dog running around."

I snorted.

I couldn't fucking help it.

He glared at me.

I cocked my head to the side some. "She did, huh?"

He nodded. "Uh, yeah. She basically described him as Cujo."

"Oh my young grasshopper," I whispered, grinning as I shook my head. "You have oh so much to learn."

He raised an eyebrow. "So he's tied up, right?"

I wonder if I could get J tied up.

Wouldn't that be fuck awesome?

Hell yeah, it would.

I bit my bottom lip with a smirk as I looked away from him. I nodded, opening my door and stepping out. "No worries. We keep him well fed so I'm sure that he's not even hungry at this time."

"Okay," he whispered, swinging his door open before getting out. "Just making sure."

Three months prior:

I stilled when I felt his strong arms wrap around my waist from behind me. Closing my eyes, I lowered the plate that I was washing down into the sink. When I felt his smirk against my skin, my breathing stopped.

"Hey you," he whispered.

I turned around and he grinned, placing one of his hands against the counter by my waist. I looked up at him as he licked his lips, running his other hand up my neck until he reached my cheek. I looked away from him as he ran that thumb across my top lip. "You okay, Bae?"

I shook my head as I met his eyes. "I'm tired."

He leaned back slightly, lifting his other hand from the counter as he tucked my hair behind my ear. "Okay. Let's go to bed."

"No, I mean—" I paused, closing my eyes, "I'm tired of this, Edward."

His raised an eyebrow. "This?"

"This," I gritted, pointing at him and then to myself. Rolling my eyes at his confused expression, I clarified. "With the whole Sam situation."

"Sam situation?"

"Yeah," I groaned, pushing him away from me slightly.

"What do you mean?"

"She likes you," I whispered, placing my arms across my chest. "And that's fine…but it's just not right, what we're doing."

"She's fine," he argued with a shrug.

I narrowed my eyes at him. "Does she know that we mess around?"

He shook his head. "But Sam and I aren't together," he added when he saw that I was about to interrupt. "She knows that shit."

"She's falling for you, Edward." Putting my hoodie over my head, I rolled my eyes. "I can see it."

"Fine, I'll talk to he—"

"No," I interrupted. "It's alright, just you know, do you."

He narrowed his eyes at me. "I am doing me, Bella."

"Well, you doing you isn't working for me," I snapped.

He raised an eyebrow. "I thought that we were cool, you know, both not wanting anyth—"

"I don't want anything from it, you know that," I interrupted him as I shook my head. Running my hands down my face, I growled. "It's just that…fuck…"

"What's wrong, Bae?" he asked, his eyes on mine. "Talk to me."

Placing my hands behind me, I leaned against the counter. "I'm not asking for anything, but I just don't feel comfortable with doing this, Edward. If I by any rare chance met someone, I would stop messing around with you, it's just how I am."

"You met someone?"

"No," I whispered, looking away from him. "I just don't feel right. I feel disgusting. I mean, if you don't care, that's golden, again, do you. It's just not me."

When I met his eyes again, he gave me a small smile before giving me a pout. "So, no more, yeah?"

I grimaced. "Sorry?"

"No worries," he whispered, shaking his head. "I'm happy that you talked to me about it, seeing as to how it was bothering you."

I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his waist. Placing my forehead against his chest, I shook my head. "I have to go to work."

He leaned back some. "You're still working for James?"

"Edward," I groaned, rolling my eyes at his narrowed ones. "I already promised you that I wasn't going to do that shit again."

"I know you did, Bae. It's just…shit," he whispered, his fingers running through his hair, "It's fucking dangerous."

"I got it, Edward." Dropping my arms from around him, I shook my head. "Just, trust me."

"I do trust you," he argued. "I just don't understand why you're doing this shit to begin with."

He rolled his eyes at me as I started heading for the kitchen door. "I'm handling it."

"When are you leaving?"

"Soon."

"Soon?"

I nodded before looking over my shoulder. "I just…have to figure something out."

"What is James hanging over your head?"

I shrugged as I pushed the door open. "Can we just stop talking about it? It's enough that I deal with the shit every day, I just don't feel like making it my life."

"It is your life," he whispered, walking over to the fridge. "And it's on the line. Every time that you deal with James, it's hanging there, just waiting for shit to hit the fan."

"I'll see you later, yeah?"

He shook my head as I ignored him. Walking over to the kitchen table, he took a seat, his eyes never meeting mine. "I'll be here."

"Edward?"

"What?" he whispered, his green still avoiding me.

"I got it."

"I'm sure that you do," he whispered.


I was interrupted from my thoughts when Jordan tugged on my hand.

"You didn't answer my question earlier," he said with a raised brow.

"What question was that?"

"How many dudes are in there?"

I rolled my eyes. "Really, Jordan?"

"Yeah, really."

Facing him when we reached the front door, I shrugged. "I'm thinking three. My room mate isn't here yet."

He nodded, squeezing my hand. "Alright, that's not a big deal."

"What are you expecting?" I asked with a grin. "A throw down?"

He rolled his eyes.

I let go of his hand and knocked. "You're the worst," I laughed before pumping my fist in the air. "Shit! Lets get ready to rummmmmbbble!"

Okay…so judging from his pursed lips, maybe it wasn't the best impression of Michael Buffer.

"Whatever," I mumbled, rolling my eyes at him before the front door opened. Facing her, I have the lady in front of me a smile. "Hey, Ma."

"Bambina!" she whispered excitingly, pulling me in for a hug. "Glad you could make it."

"Why wouldn't I be able to make it?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, leaning away from her slightly.

She ignored me as she looked over at Jordan. "And, who are you?"

I scrunched my eyebrows together.

In all of the time that I have known Esme, she was never one to say...

"And, who are you?"

It was always…

"Hey, sweetheart!" or…

"How lovely!"

"Look at you!"

"Such a pleasure!"

"Oh, how nice!"

And, my all time favorite…

"Aren't you dandy!"

Who the fuck says dandy?

Pfff…

Esme says dandy.

So, something was going on.

Ma was uncomfortable in some type of way, but I couldn't pinpoint it.

Sneaky dandy word user.

I shook my head, breaking out of my thoughts as I nudged my shoulder with Jordan's. "This is my friend Jordan," I whispered. Nodding my head at Ma, I grinned. "Jordan, this is Esme."

He smiled as he held out his hand. "Nice to meet you."

She shook his hand with a raised eyebrow. "Nice to meet you t—"

Esme and I cringed as we heard glass break, the sound coming from inside. She shook her head as she looked over at me. "What are we going to do with that Jake of ours, huh?"

I snorted before grimacing when I noticed Jordan's face pale.

"Are you alright, hun?" Esme asked, running her hand along his arm.

"I thought that you told me that he was tied up, Bella."

I pursed my lips at his statement.

Esme cocked her head to the side. "Although it doesn't sound like a bad idea, why would we tie up Jake?"

He was about to answer, but I interrupted. "Rose."

Esme raised an eyebrow at me.

I grinned. "Rose already got to him, talking about the dog."

She smiled, rolling her eyes slightly. Turning her attention back to him, she shook her head. "We already fed him, so he shouldn't be hungry. No worries, yeah?"

God, I worship these people.

It's kind of sick, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Ma stepped to the side and I walked in, pulling Jordan with me. When I noticed that the living room empty, I looked over shoulder as I let go of his hand. "Where's everyone at?"

After closing the door behind her, Esme nodded towards the kitchen. I headed that way, but stopped when I heard her call my name. "What's up?" I asked, turning around.

"Can I talk to you for a second, Bambina?"

"Of course," I whispered. Looking over at Jordan, I nodded towards the kitchen. "Make yourself at home, I'll be in there in a little bit."

"Alright," he whispered, kissing my forehead. I smiled as he leaned back. "I'll see you in a little bit?"

I nodded, pushing him towards the kitchen. I rolled my eyes as he stood in front of the door, looking at it nervously. "Christ, go in," I whispered, waving my hands around. He rolled his eyes before he pushed it open and walked through.

"So who's the kid?"

I turned around, mimicking her stance as I placed my arms across my chest. "I thought that we did this a minute ago, his name is Jordan."

Placing her hands over her hips, she walked over to me. "And who is this Jordan character?"

I narrowed my eyes at her as I placed my hoodie over my head. "He's just a friend," I whispered.

She rolled her eyes as she lowered my hoodie. Running her fingers through my hair, she raised a brow. "Just a friend?"

I groaned, smacking her hand away from my hair. "Yes, Ma. He's just a friend."

"I thought that you and Edward were…" she paused, placing her hands over her hips again, "you know…"

I raised an eyebrow.

"Gosh, Bambina, you know what I'm talking about," she huffed.

"Es—"

My words died as she lifted both hands, making one into a circle and using the other one to poke her pointer finger through it.

I laughed, looking at her incredulously. "Esme!"

"What?" she snapped, throwing her hands up in the air.

I snorted. "That was just wrong, on so many levels. Don't do it again."

She rolled her eyes. "So?"

"You thought that Edward and I were what exactly?"

"Together."

I rolled my eyes. "I told you that we weren't together."

"Then what were you?" she asked.

"Ma!" I groaned, looking away from her, "I'm not talking to you about what we were."

"Why not?" she whispered with a small pout. "I'm hip, I'm with it."

I gaped at her. "Did you just call yourself hip?"

She shrugged. "I am, aren't I?"

I grinned. "You sure are something."

"Come on, Bambina," she groaned. "I mean, you guys have something going on, yeah?"

"Esme," I growled, lowering my head, "come on."

"Come on nothing," she argued. I looked up and raised an eyebrow at her narrowed eyes. "You guys had sexual intercourse, yes?"

"Ma!"

"What?" she shouted, rolling her eyes at me. "Are you implying that you guys didn't?"

I shook my head. "It was like that with Edward and I."

She clapped her hands together and then grimaced. "Did you guys use protect—"

I cut her off by placing my hand over her mouth and she narrowed her eyes at me, to which I returned the gesture. "I think that I had enough of your sex talk, you dominatrix," I whispered angrily.

"Who's talking about sex?"

Looking over my shoulder when I heard Rose's voice, I grinned taking in the little chubster that was in her arms as I lowered my hand from Esme's mouth.

"Hey my little man," I whispered, heading over to them. Rose grinned as she turned him around in her arms, so that he was facing me. The dude looked around the room and when his eyes met mine, he smiled, all dimples and toothless. I couldn't resist him as he held out his little arms, waving them in my direction.

Taking him into my hands, I lifted him up in the air as he closed his eyes and kicked out his chubby little legs. I looked up to him as his eyes opened, all wide and dramatic. "Woooooooahhh!"

Rose rolled her eyes as Leo screeched back. "WAAAAWWWAA!"

Lowering his face down to mine, I rubbed my nose over his and snorted when he burped against my mouth.

Goddamn it, I love this kid.

I grimaced playfully as I lifted him up in the air again and he offered me his dimples in return as he took in my dramatics. "Ewe!"

"EEY!" he shouted back, kicking out his legs at the same time that he lifted his hands in the air.

Laughing, I lowered him and gave his lips a quick kiss before placing him over my one hip. Giving the mama bear a peck, I raised a brow. "What are you teaching this kid?"

She shook her head as she ran her fingers through his curly hair.

"I swear, if he ends up like you, I'm going to murder your a.s.s."

I smirked. "Did you really just spell ass?"

She huffed as she placed her hands over her hips. "Well now I guess that it doesn't even matter, what with you just saying the shit."

I pursed my lips. "You mean s.h.i.t?"

"Shut up," she snapped, taking Leo from my arms as she shook her head at me. "You're unbelievable, you know that?"

I crossed my arms. "You got Jake tied up, Cesar Millan?"

She smirked. "You liked that one, yeah?"

I rolled my eyes. "You're a b.i.t.c.h."

She shrugged. Looking over at Ma as she walked up to us, she raised an eyebrow. "What was this whole thing about sex? You know how I like to hear about it, since I don't get it in like I used too."

I groaned as Esme smiled. "Bambina denies having any kind of a relationship with my son."

Rose rolled her eyes at her before turning her attention to me. "For real, Honey B?"

I ignored her, keeping my eyes on Leo. As Esme ran her pointer finger over his knuckles, he wrapped his stubby fingers around it and quickly lifted his hand before shoving her finger into his open mouth, greedily sucking on it.

I snorted and Rose glared at me.

"What the hell did I do?" I asked, pursing my lips.

"You need to stop eating in front of him."

I rolled my eyes. "Please hookah, he's probably hungry. Feed the kid, why don't you. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up on one of those commercials with the needy kids."

She rolled her eyes at me before looking over at Esme. "What do you wanna know, Ma?"

"Rose," I growled, not liking how they we're just talking about the shit in front of it, when it obviously wasn't happening anymore.

"I want to know why she's denying it."

"Oh," Rose shrugged. "Bella's not lying. They aren't together."

Esme raised an eyebrow at me. "But, I thought that you said that you guys slept together."

"They did," Rose answered, nonchalantly.

Esme scrunched her eyebrows together as she looked at me and then over at Rose. "I'm not following here."

Rose rolled her eyes. "They're friends, but they still get it in." She shrugged before she continued. "You know, F.u.c.k buddies."

"Rose!" I yelled, looking at her incredulously.

"What's up?" she asked.

A mumbled "Christ" left my lips as I ran a hand down my face.

"Oh God," Esme whispered.

I shook my head at Esme. "Ma, it's not all that serious, chi—"

"Oh honey," she interrupted, pointing at me. "Nothing good is going to come out of this."

"What are you talking about?" I asked. She narrowed her eyes at me as I continued. "We both don't want anything from each other, it's all good."

"Bambina, that is where you're wrong. Someone is going to get hurt."

I rolled my eyes. "We stopped three months ago, yeah? And look at us, we're still friends, nothing changed."

"Really?" Rose asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. Really." Turning my attention back to Esme, I gave her a small smile as I shrugged. "No worries."

Rose nudged my shoulder and I raised an eyebrow at her. "Not even a little bit?" she asked. "Not even just the tip?"

I gaped at her. "Rose!"

"What?" she snapped. "Jesus, I'm just asking!"

Esme scrunched her eyebrows together. "Rose, what do you mean, just the tip?"

"Nothing!" I yelled, smacking my hand over Rose's mouth when she opened it, more than ready to answer her.

Just the tip?

Who says that?

Rose says that.

Crazy bitch.

We all turned our heads towards the kitchen when we heard some kind of a scuffle coming from in there. Returning my attention back to Ma, I raised a suspicious eyebrow. "How many people are here exactly?"

She grimaced slightly, looking away.

"Esme," I groaned.

"Oh hush!" she whispered. "Just a few of Edward and Jasper's friends."

"How many are a few?" I asked, placing my arms across my chest.

"Well," she started, "there's Ben, nice kid that one is. Then there's Ken, Jason, Matt, and uh…another kid."

I smirked. "Is it Dick?"

"Bambina!"

"What?" I whispered with a shrug. "That's his name, isn't it?"

She shook her head. "What mother thought to name their kid that, I'll never understand."

"I love that Dick. He's good people."

Rose nodded with pursed lips. "Dick is so good."

Esme rolled her eyes. "This family, I swear."

"Come on," I said, pinching Leo's chubby cheeks before leading the way, "let's go in there and intervene before someone dies."

As soon as I pushed the kitchen door open, my jaw dropped.

Carlisle had his arm around Jordan's neck…

While the rest of the boys were cheering him on.

"That's it, Pop!" Ken hollered, throwing his fist up in the air, pumping it like some Jersey Shore bullshit. "Woo, Woo!"

Did he really just shout woo woo?

"Woo, Woo!" he repeated, popping his collar.

Oh God.

He did.

"Goddamn it," Matt mumbled, digging into his pocket. After pulling out a fifty dollar bill, he glared at Dick who had his hand held out towards him. "Old man still got it."

Dick smiled, snatching the bill out of Matt's hand. "Told you fuckers not to doubt the boss, you idiots," he whispered, shaking his head.

I looked over at Pix and narrowed my eyes at her, seeing as to how she was just sitting on Blue Eyes' lap, popping grapes in her mouth.

When she noticed me there, Pixie smirked and threw me a kiss.

Fucking Bonnie.

Blue Eyes winked at me before he lifted his hands, acting like he was shooting off bullets up in the air.

And Clyde over there.

Christ. Those Two.

I snapped out of it when I heard Jordan choking.

"Give it up, young boy," Carlisle growled.

"Pop!"

He smirked, not even paying attention to me when I yelled for him, as he tightened his grip around Jordan's neck. "Hey, Bambina," he hissed.

Me pushed me aside and walked through the door, a loud gasp of stun leaving her mouth as she took in the scene. Narrowing her eyes at her husband, she placed her hands over her hips. All of the boys grimaced as they looked over at her. Ken the Barbie kicked Carlisle's leg, trying to silently tell him to quit. He only growled with a grin in return as he tightened his arm around Jordan's neck. The rest of the men whistled as they looked away, suddenly interested on the silverware.

"Carlisle Cullen, you let go of that boy, immediately!"

As soon as he heard Esme's voice, he grimaced as he lifted his hand from his death grip before running it through his hair apprehensively.

Jordan groaned, rubbing his neck, and Pop rolled his eyes as he stood up strait before looking over at his wifey. "Hey, honey."

"Nice," Rose whispered with a smirk, pushing through us. She snorted as she looked over at Jordan, and then walked over towards the table. Handing Leo over to Pixie, she sat down and leaned back, shaking her head. Pix grinned as Leo eyed the grapes, in some kind of a ravenous way. She took one and placed it into his mouth, letting him suck on it.

I looked over at Jordan and grimaced when I saw him with his palms over his knees, trying to catch his breath. Reaching him, I placed my hand over his shoulder and bent down so that I could see his face.

"Christ," I mumbled, "are you alright?"

He coughed, straitening out his collar. "I'm good."

Carlisle grinned, giving him a pat on the shoulder. I pursed my lips as Jordan clenched his eyes shut from the impact. "He's good, Bambina."

I narrowed my eyes at the grown ass man as I straightened myself up, bringing Jordan with me. I looked around the room with my fingers on my hips. "Was that really necessary, you idiots?"

"Yes," they all replied at the same time.

I rolled my eyes.

Ken grinned as he walked over to me. "Hey, babe."

I gave him a small grin in return. "Where's Barbie?"

He rolled his eyes before he grabbed onto my face, planting a kiss on my lips. "Ha-ha," he mumbled, pushing my hands away from slapping his cheeks.

I yelped as someone came from behind me and turned me around quickly. Narrowing my eyes at Matt, he smiled before throwing me backwards. "How you doin?" he murmured, giving me a kiss.

I snorted. "How you doin?"

He shrugged before lifting me up again. Pinching his cheek, he growled at me before pushing me away. Giving me the finger behind his hand, seeing as how Esme was around, he walked over to the table and took a seat.

I walked over to the sink and turned it on before filling up a glass with water for the kid who was harassed by Pop. I looked over my shoulder when the door swung open, revealing Sam and Edward.

"Hey guys!" Sam shouted, all happily and giggly.

Yes.

Giggly.

Look it up bitches, it's a word.

I pursed my lips at his uneasiness as the chick nearly dragged Edward through the door. Looking over at his parents, he ran his hand through his hair, making it impossibly messier. "Uh, hey."

"Hey, Edward!" we all shouted.

Just as giggly. Maybe adding some bubbly.

God, the love that I have for these motherfuckers, man.

I'm tellin' ya.

I grinned as I turned around, turning off the faucet. As everyone was talking, or better yet, shouting, I lifted my hand and pulled open one of the cabinets that held the plates.

Placing a bunch of them on the counter, I froze when I went to close the cabinet, feeling someone kissing the top of my head. "Hey, Bae."

Looking over to my right, I grinned as Edward took some of the plates that I had piled up into his hands before carrying them to the table.

When he returned, the prick winked at me and I closed the cabinet as I nudged his hip with mine before leaning over to give him a kiss over his cheek. "Hey, you."

He smirked as he lowered his head, shaking it and I snorted as I gave him mouth a couple of light smacks. "Is that necessary?" he groaned, slapping my hands away from his face.

"Is that necessary?" I lowered my voice, mocking him.

He narrowed his eyes at me and I smiled in return, walking away from him. Before I reached the kitchen table, I gritted my teeth when I felt him slap my ass…

With his goddamn dominant hand.

Turning around quickly, I glared at Edward, who just shrugged before he turned around and faced the counter. "Bastard."

"Bastard," he mocked, his shoulders shaking.

I rolled my eyes at his copied antics before I headed around the table, placing the plates in front of all the chairs. Walking over to my own, I pulled it out with annoyance before taking a seat. Jordan was standing by the door with his hands in his pockets and I grinned as I patted the chair next to him. "Come sit, man. Relax."

He smiled as he did what I requested, leaning over my ear as his eyes roamed the room. "You got quite the family," he whispered.

I smirked, raising an eyebrow at him. "I take it that you met Cujo?"

He rolled his eyes as he took the glass of water from my hand. "Cujo, my ass," he mumbled before taking a sip of his drink.

I snorted as I lowered my head, shaking it. Looking up at him again, I grimaced. "Just a tip? Don't listen to anything that Rose tells you."

He nodded, placing some salad into his plate and mine. "Got it."

Edward's narrowed eyes that were directed towards Jordan caught my attention as he walked over to the table with Sam behind him. I went to say his name before he started anything, but my words of warning were too late.

"Who are hell are you?" he asked, pulling out the chair across from us before taking a seat. Jordan turned his attention from me to him and Edward raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, dude. I'm talking to you."

I narrowed my eyes at him as the whole table went silent, their gazes darting between Edward and Jordan, waiting for some sort of a throw down, already.

Rose and Pop had their lips pursed, trying to hide their amusement.

"Doo! Hoo YUUUUU!" Leo yelled out.

The Pixie shook her head as she nudged Blue Eyes' shoulder, who just smiled in return, leaning back into his chair, his arms across his chest.

Esme copied my annoyance with her eyes, looking around the table as the rest of the guys raised their eyebrows, looking at Jordan like 'Yeah, man. Answer the fucking question.'

I broke the goddamn silence. "Edward, Jordan. Jordan, Edward."

Jordan sat up a little bit and held his hand out across the table. "Nice to meet you, man."

"Yeah," Edward whispered, taking a hold of his hand as he stayed put.

I rolled my eyes as Jordan's arm tensed slightly before he narrowed his eyes at Edward, who in return just smirked, letting go of his grip.

Why do guys do that shit?

A harder squeeze, though?

And you're the bigger man?

I raised an eyebrow at Edward as he kept his eyes on mine, lifting the bottle of beer up to his mouth and slowly drinking out of it. "What?"

He shrugged, placing the bottle back on the table. "Nothing at all," he said, taking a hold of the pasta bowl before pouring some on his plate. "I just thought that this was a family dinner," he finished with a nod at Jordan. "Is he all of a sudden, family?"

Sam scrunched her eyebrows together, sensing the awkwardness next to him, as Matt whistled, taking a seat on her other side.

"What's your deal?" I asked Matt, ignoring Edward.

He smiled as he leaned back, placing his arms across his chest as he looked over at Edward, who was running his fork through his food. "I don't have a deal, B."

"Right," I mumbled, rolling my eyes. When I noticed that Jordan was in the middle of pouring some pasta on my place, I grimaced.

Did I ask for any goddamn pasta?

I looked down at my plate and gagged, internally of course, at the red peppers that dominated the dish.

Ken coughed in an obnoxiously loud kind of way, and I looked over at him. "You good, Barbie?"

"Something in my throat," he choked, pursing his lips.

"Dude."

I looked over at Jake as he nodded at Jordan, taking a bite out of his bread. "Did you ask her if she wanted that shi—oot?" he asked.

Jordan looked over at me. "Shit, sorr—"

"Language," Esme interrupted, not looking up from her plate as she mixed her salad with some dressing.

I shook my head as I looked over at Jordan. "No worr—"

"No really," J interrupted, holding his hand out across the table. "I was just asking cause if you don't want it, give it over."

"You have your own godd—angit plate in front of you, dog," Rose spat, hitting his arm. "Eat what's yours," she finished, hitting the back of his head.

He looked over at her and barked. She in return glared at him. Looking down at Leo, Jake grinned as he lowered his head so that he was right in front of the little one's face. "Ruff!"

"Rffff!"

We all looked down at Leo and laughed as he imitated Jake.

"I. Hate. You," Rose growled.

"Grrrrrrrr!"

I snorted.

Did I mention how much that kid gets to me?

Edward rolled his eyes as he sat up slightly, reaching over the table as he grabbed a hold of my plate. Jordan raised an eyebrow at him when he took a seat again, picking out the God awful red peppers out of my plate before dropping them into his own. "So, what do you do, man?"

Jordan wiped his mouth with a small shrug as he placed his elbows against the table. "Right now, I'm taking some business classes."

Edward grinned with a raised eyebrow as he placed my plate back in front of me again. "Is that right?"

"Edward."

He looked over at his mother. "What?"

"Leave the kid alone," she whispered, shaking her head.

He shrugged as he leaned back. "I'm just asking the man about what he does Ma, there's no harm in that."

She rolled her eyes as she stabbed the chicken out of her breast.

"So, when you're done with all of these so called business cla—"

"So called?" Jordan interrupted him with a grin, leaning back into his own chair. "Why do you say it like that?"

Edward's jaw tensed something irritating as he placed his arms across his chest. "I'm saying it like that because I know that it's bullsh—"

I threw my fork down onto my plate with gritted teeth. "Edward, sto—"

"You're looking real familiar to me, dude," Edward interrupted, his eyes on the kid next to me.

Jordan raised an eyebrow.

Dick scrunched his eyebrows together. "You know what, man?" he whispered, pulling his chair closer to the table as he sat up. "You're right, Cullen. He does look familiar."

I'm done.

I don't know what Edward's deal was…

But obviously, it was making Jordan uncomfortable…

And, irking the shit out of me.

"Are you done?"

Edward raised an eyebrow at me as he took a hold of his beer bottle.

"Are you?" I growled, narrowing my eyes at him.

He rolled his own as he leaned back, taking a sip of his drink.

I shook my head as I stood up. Looking down at Jordan, I frowned. "I'm sorry, Jordan. If I knew that my room mate would act like an idiot, I wouldn't of brought you here."

"Room mate?" he asked, standing up in some slow and matrix way before facing me.

"Yeah," I growled, "my overbearing, over-pompous, overoverover everything that's bad, room mate!" Edward snorted, placing his beer bottle back down onto the table. I looked over at Sam and shook my head at her. "Good luck with that one. He's a pain in the A double S."

"Bambina," Esme whispered, standing up and walking over to me as she shook her head. "I'll kick Edward out, you don't have to lea—"

"Hey," Edward interrupted incredulously, pushing himself away from the table before he stood up. "What the hell, Ma?"

"Well the girl is right, Edward," she argued, narrowing her eyes at him as she pushed Jordan back down into his seat. Placing her arms across her chest, she shrugged. "If you two kids weren't able to work things out in the first place, then there's no reason for you to ac—"

"Wait," Sam interrupted, standing up as she raised an eyebrow at the kid next to her. "Couldn't work things out in the first place?" He looked away from her and she narrowed her eyes at him. "I thought that you told me that you guys never did anything, that she wasn't your type of thing."

Pix looked over at Edward and raised an eyebrow at him. He rolled his eyes before looking over at me. I forced a smile across my face before I lowered my head, shoving my hands into my back jean pockets.

That kind of burned.

I mean…

I lifted my head after a few seconds of complete silence and shook it at Esme. "Ma, what the heck did I tell you earlier?"

"Heck?" Carlisle laughed, shaking his head. Looking over at Blue Eyes, he grinned. "Gets me every time."

Rolling my eyes, I turned my attention back to Ma and she shrugged.

"You told me that you two lovers slept together."

Uh, okay…

Sam gasped, throwing her hand over her chest.

Rose snorted.

Jake choked on his bread.

Edward grimaced, pushing his chair back under the table before holding his hands up beside him, his eyes on J. "Come on du—"

"Come again?" Jake growled, interrupting him as he stood up.

"Oh give it up," Rose groaned, rolling her eyes as she handed her son off to Pix. Standing up, she grabbed some bread from the basket that was placed in the middle of the table and shoved it into his mouth as she pushed him back down into his seat at the same time.

Dick stood up before patting Edward's shoulder. "Dude. Excellent."

Blue Eyes rolled his eyes as he leaned back into his chair. Pix followed, playing with Leo's little toes. "You guys act like this is some new shi—oot," she whispered in a bored tone.

Carlisle shrugged, his eyes on his plate as he continued eating.

Pop?

Yeah.

Dinner's over.

Drop the goddamn fork.

I shook my head as I looked back over at Jordan. Taking a hold of his arm, I pulled him up again and nodded towards the door. "We are so leaving."

"Wait."

I met his eyes when he tugged my hand. "You won't even let me kiss you and you and your room mate slept together?"

"Jordan," I groaned, more than maddened, "can we just ta—"

"No," he interrupted me, his voice…different.

Was he…

He didn't just growl at me…

Because, if he did…

My fist was obviously going to be acquainted with his jaw.

I raised an eyebrow at his narrowed eyes and placed my arms across my chest. "Is there some sort of problem—o, dude?"

His top lip twitched angrily. "You guys slept together?"

I narrowed my eyes at him as I went to grab his arm again. "We're not talking about this right now, Jordan."

His eyes darkened as he pushed my hand away.

Wait a second.

Matt pushed himself away from the table before he stood up, shaking his head. "Dude. Not such a bright idea."

I shook my head at Matt as I wrapped my hand around Jordan's arm with a con-fu grip. Looking over at Jordan, I nodded towards the door.

"Let's go, now."

"No," he spat, prying my fingers off of his arm.

I gritted my teeth as I lowered my head.

If we weren't over Carlisle and Esme's house right now…

The gun that was currently resting against my stomach?

Would have it's bullets flying through his balls.

Pop shook his head as he stood up, throwing his fork down onto his plate. Jasper followed the action, placing his closed fists against the table as he looked over at Jordan. "With the way you push her hand away like that, you're asking for it, man."

I rolled my eyes as Pix nodded. "True story, dude."

Jordan raised his hands up beside him with an amused grin and when his eyes went to Edward, I groaned. "You kiss her, man?"

Rose snorted.

Leo imitated.

Edward smirked as he walked around the table. I narrowed my eyes at him when he reached us, with me stuck in the middle as the two faced off. "Are you trying to tell me that you're going to do something about it if I say that I did?"

Jordan's fists clenched beside me and I rolled my eyes, standing a little taller. "This is really not necessary."

"When's Emmett coming home, Pop?" Edward asked, keeping his eyes on Jordan, who raised a brow to his question.

"Edward, Em has nothing to do wi—"

"Who's Emmett?" Jordan asked, interrupting me.

Rose snorted.

Yet again.

I looked over at her and growled. "Would you stop?"

She smiled as she lifted her index finger up in the air, using her other pointer finger to tap it against her middle finger.

God.

It's pretty amazing what we learn to do when in Esme's presence.

"F.u.c.k off!" I spat, narrowing my eyes at her.

"OOOOOOOOO!"

"Put a cork in it, Leo!" I shouted back, pursing my lips in amusement as his eyes widened a bit.

Pix leaned across the table and grabbed a grape out of the bowl before leaning back and shoving it into his open mouth. She grinned at me as he started sucking on her finger. "Got it," she whispered, grimacing as he bit into the grape, making the juice run out of his mouth and down her hand.

I winked at him before turning my attention back to Jordan. "Can we go now? Please?"

"I bet you liked that shit," he whispered, ignoring me as he smiled at Edward. "Having it whenever you wanted it?"

Edward's jaw tensed as he lowered his head and laughed, cracking his knuckles. "You motherfu—"

Placing one of my hands against chest, I interrupted him with a growl as I pushed him away, my other fingers around his wrist. Backing him up against the counter, I gritted my teeth as he tried to throw himself into Jordan. "Christ, Edward! Stop!"

He narrowed his eyes at me as he pulled his hand out of my grip.

"You're going to let him talk about you that way?"

"His words don't hurt me," I whispered. "Your words on the other hand?" He looked away from me and I grinned. "Ouch."

"It's not like th—"

"Oh my God," I interrupted, giving him the finger. "Look at that."

He rolled his eyes. "Bae, sto—"

"Are you looking?" I interrupted, placing my hand in front of his face.

He nodded before lowering his head.

"That's how I feel about what you have to say," I whispered, placing my arms across my chest.

He pushed himself away from the counter and I rolled my eyes as he walked over to the door, using his fists to swing it open. I Turned my body and started heading for the same route, family dinner forgotten.

"Well, it was a pleasure," I whispered, reaching the door.

"Hey."

I looked over my shoulder and raised an eyebrow at Jordan.

"You ready to go?" he asked.

Oh.

This motherfucker.

"I've been ready," I answered.

He nodded as he walked over to me, but I placed my hand against his chest and stopped him. "You should find a way home," I told him with a fake grimace.

He raised an eyebrow. "Really though?"

I nodded. "Really."

"Wow," he whispered.

I grinned. "Wonderful, yeah?"

"So…I'll call you later?"

I snorted. "It's on you if you really want to waste your breath, dude."

With that said, I pushed the door open and stepped out…

Leaving that fucking disaster behind.


One week later:

I rolled my eyes as I heard someone knocking on my bathroom door.

"Wha yuu wat?" I mumbled around my toothbrush.

"Bae, can we talk?"

Lowering my toothbrush, I scrunched my eyebrows together as I ran it under the running water. "Who?"

He groaned, a thump against the door followed. "Come on, Bae."

"I don't know who you're looking for, there's no Bae here," I stated before rinsing my mouth out. Lifting the towel that was around my body up to my face, I ran it across my skin.

"Bella, can we talk? Please?"

After turning off the faucet, I put my bra on and pulled my boy shorts up my legs and hips. Sliding some chap stick across my lips, I walked over to the door and opened it before crossing my arms.

"Bel—" he stopped, his hands against the door frame as his eyes left my own and traveled down my body. I raised an eyebrow at him and he coughed, clearing his throat, before meeting my gaze again. "Uh."

I shook my head as I pushed myself past him, walking over towards my bed. Looking over my shoulder, I raised an eyebrow. "What's up?"

"Should I come back in a couple of minutes?" he asked, my ass cheeks apparently, as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"Why would you do that?" I asked, pulling my hair up in a ponytail.

"Well, you know…you don't seem ready or some shit, maybe I sh—"

"What's your dilemma, Edward?" I interrupted, bending down before I grabbed my jeans that were laying on the carpet. A supple groan was heard behind me and I smirked as I stood back up again.

"Maybe I should go," he whispered with a quick nod, walking over to the door. "I'll wait until you get dressed."

"It's nothing that you haven't seen before," I whispered, adjusting my tits. His eyes widened a bit before he lowered his head, his jaw tense. "As a matter of fact, you saw a lot more."

He lifted his head and narrowed his eyes at me. "Yeah, Bella, I know. It doesn't change the fac—"

"What's up, Edward?" I interrupted, pulling a tee shirt over my head.

"Look," he started, "I get that you're pissed off at me right no—"

"Just pissed off?" I asked, interrupting him, yet again.

He rolled his eyes. "Alright, more than pissed off. I get it, Bae."

I narrowed my eyes at him as I shoved my chucks on. "Again with the Bae bullshit?"

His fists clenched before he shook them out, shoving them in his pockets. "Alright, can we talk, seriously, without all your bullshit sarcasm?"

"I'm not being sarcastic," I argued with a small shrug. "I'm just trying to tell you to stop with the fucking Bae."

"Fine," he gritted, walking over to my bed. I raised an eyebrow at him as he took a seat and he rolled his eyes at me as he grabbed my hand and pulled me down so that I was sitting next to him. "Will you please talk to me?" he plead, keeping a hold on me.

"About?" I whispered.

He raised an eyebrow at me. "It's been a week."

"Okay?"

"And you're still ignoring me?"

"It's not all about you all of the goddamn time, Edward," I whispered angrily, pulling my hand away from his.

"Come on," he argued, shaking his head. "You know that I didn't mean it like that."

I shrugged as I looked away from him.

"What's going on?" he asked. "I mean, I thought that we were cool?"

"We were, until you decided to act like a prick in front of Jordan," I replied, meeting his gaze again.

He rolled his eyes with a groan as he laid down on his back, running his hand down his face. "Something's up with him, Bel—"

"I'm sure that something is," I interrupted, leaning back before laying down beside him, "as with every other dude that I'm going to meet."

Turning his body to his side, so that he was facing me, he raised an eyebrow. "Is he the reason as to why we stopped messing around?"

I shook my head as I went to sit up, but he grabbed onto the back of my tee and pulled me back down again. "Is he, Bae?"

"No," I groaned, placing my arm over my eyes.

He took my other hand that was by him and interlaced his fingers with mine before laying our joined hands over my stomach. "You sure?" he asked. "I mean, if it is, fuck, just tell me."

"Edward, I already told you why."

"Because of Sam?"

"Do I want crabs?" I asked seriously, lowering my arm and meeting his eyes. "Do I look like a goddamn fisherman to you?"

He rolled his eyes. "I get tested twice a month, Bella."

He stated that like it was a good thing.

Christ.

My eyes widened. "Twice a month!" I yelped.

He grimaced, either from my expression of horror or from the pressure of the grip my fingers had around his. "That didn't sound right."

"Please tell me that it was just me and Sam, Edward."

He groaned as he ran his other hand down his face. "God, Bae."

I gritted my teeth.

Where's my goddamn gun?

Did I leave it under the bed?

He rolled his eyes as my own started looking around the room in some frantic way, trying to remember where the hell I hid it last night. "Bae, it was just you two, so stop with your whatever you're doing," he said, breaking me out of my thoughts.

Standing up, I let go of his hand and walked over to my dresser before leaning against it. "Okay," I whispered, crossing my arms. "As long as I don't get anymore surprises, you still have the enjoyment of keeping your balls."

He grinned as he stood up from the bed and I raised an eyebrow as he walked over to me, placing his hands on the dresser behind me, those arms of his trapping me in.

Goddamn it.

Why did I like it so much?

And in a fine, fine type of way.

"Sam and I, we're not really that ser—"

I shook my head, interrupting him before I placed my hands around his arms. "You don't have to explain anything to me, Edward. I was just pissed off because, you know, I told you that if you me—"

"Meet someone else, then tell me," he finished, interrupting me as his eyes left mine. "Yeah, I know."

I nodded as I moved my hands from his arms to the dresser, placing my fingers next to his. "And you didn't. Which is cool, whatever, but it's not me." He met my eyes again and I shrugged. "I just don't like that shit, yeah?"

"I didn't mean to hurt you," he whispered. "You know that, right?"

"Edward," I groaned, "you're acting like I'm one of those chicks, stop."

"I'm not though, I'm serious, Bella." I rolled my eyes as I went to look away, but he took a hold of my chin and kept me there as he bent his knees slightly, so that we were at eye level. "I care about you and you mean a lot to me. I'm not just saying that to get into your pants, I get it, that's done. I'm telling you this because it's real."

"I know," I whispered, leaning back slightly. "And, I care about you too, Edward. Its just…not a big deal, so relax. I'm good."

He groaned as he pushed himself away from me.

I raised an eyebrow.

"I'm good."

I shrugged, crossing my arms. "Well, I am. I can ta—"

"Take care of myself," he mumbled, interrupting me as he shoved his hands inside his back jean pockets. "Yeah, I fucking know."

"Golden," I said, pushing myself away from the dresser before walking over to my closet and pulling out a hoodie. "I have to go, but we're all still meeting up later, yeah?"

He nodded.

"Are we good?" I asked before shoving my hoodie on and walking over to my bed, where I had placed my bag underneath last night. Keeping my eyes on him, I bent down and tugged it out with a raised eyebrow.

He nodded.

I rolled my eyes as I stood up. "Edward, come on."

He shrugged. "We're good."

"Alright," I whispered, giving him a small smile as I walked over to him and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you later."


Pulling up to the address that James gave me earlier, I looked around as I placed my truck in park. Nothing seemed so hardcore, like he was describing it on the phone. Thinking of his dramatics, I rolled my eyes.

His unnecessary apologizing, about how he couldn't make it tonight.

Like his company was appreciated.

Pfff…

Fucking moron.

Hey, how about this?

I'd rather cut off my pinky toe…

With a rusty kitchen knife…

That had cold pancake bits around it.

Jackass.

I took my keys out of the ignition and grabbed a hold of my gun out of my bag before placing it on the passenger seat. Hearing my cell ring a second later, I groaned before flipping it open. "Yeah?"

"Hey."

"Where are you?" I asked, opening my door and stepping outside. "I'm here already."

"I'll be pulling up in about a minute. Wait for me before you go in."

I rolled my eyes as I closed the door behind me. "Pull up next to me."

"Alright," he whispered, "I'm pulling in."

When I saw Jordan's headlights coming my way, I lifted my hand and waved him over to the spot next to my truck. When he parked his car, I pushed myself off of my truck and placed my arms across my chest.

Stepping out, he grinned at me and I returned the gesture. "Hey, B."

"Hey," I whispered, walking up to him and kissing his cheek. "Ready?"

He nodded. "How much do you have on you?"

I raised an eyebrow. "What does it matter?"

He shrugged as he looked away. "I'm just asking, no big deal."

I narrowed my eyes at him. "You're not some type of narc, are you?"

He laughed.

Wait.

What was so funny?

I'm not trying to spend my days and nights covering up my ass in fear of a chick wanting a piece of it.

You with me?

I don't care if you're not.

I'm with me.

He raised an eyebrow at me as I started thinking of escape mechanisms. "If I was, would you expect me to tell you?"

Right.

Damnit.

Am I on Cops?

I started looking around for the camera man.

If I hear that goddamn theme song, I'm making a run for it.

What the hell am I thinking?

It's not like they carry around a boom box over their shoulder.

"Bella, relax."

I looked over at him. "Jord—"

"I'm no fucking narc, chill out."

"I'll kill you."

Did I just tell him that?

I smacked my own forehead.

I just threatened a goddamn undercover, didn't I?

He grinned as he placed his hands into his pockets. "And, why would you kill me?"

"I take that back," I said quickly, placing my hands against his chest, running them up and down his tee shirt.

What I was doing, you ask?

Feeling around for goddamn wires.

Oh, yes.

I'm not an amateur people…

I know what I'm doing.

I don't watch The First 48 for nothing.

He looked down at my hands and pursed his lips. "Please don't tell me that you're feeling around for wires."

I shook my head as I lowered my arms. "I don't know what you're talking about."

What about those little ear pieces?

Aren't they some new shit that they use?

As I was inspecting his ears, he rolled his eyes as he placed his hand on my lower back. "Come on, let's go."

I looked down at his hand and narrowed my eyes at it.

"No handcuffs, Bella."

I shrugged as I lifted my head and started walking towards the porch.

"I'm a black belt."

He raised an eyebrow as we walked up the steps. "Oh yeah?"

"No," I answered, grimacing internally.

"Bella?"

"What?"

"How well do you know Edward?"

I rolled my eyes as I went to knock on the door, but he grabbed onto my hand, stopping me before I had the chance to do so.

"What I'm just asking is, do you know what he does?"

"What are you getting at?" I asked.

He grinned as he let go of me. "So I'm guessing no?"

"Jordan, can we stop with all of this cryptic shit?" I groaned.

"Does he know that you sell?"

I nodded as I faced him, placing my arms across my chest. He raised an eyebrow at me. "Really?"

"Yes, Jordan. Really."

"Wow," he replied in a slow whisper, turning his attention back to the door as he knocked on it.

I went to ask him what he meant by that, but the female voice on the other side stopped my words.

"Who is it?"

I rolled my eyes. "Marie."

The door opened slightly, revealing two little eyeballs.

"Peak a fucking boo," I mumbled, leaning towards the opening. "Come on, dude. I don't have time for the bullshit."

The door opened the rest of the way and a chick who looked about my age stood in front of us. "Who's this?" she asked, nodding at Jordan as she directed the question to me.

I shrugged. "Someone James knows."

She narrowed her eyes at him. "James never told me that someone was coming with you tonight."

"I already searched him for wires," I said, giving her a dramatic wink as I placed my arms across my chest. "He's good."

Placing her hands over her hips, she rolled her eyes.

I returned the gesture, mocking the chick. "Right. So are we going to continue wasting time? Because I have somewhere else I'd rather be right now."

"The guy stays out," she said, stepping to the side as she nodded at me. "You, come in."

I looked over at Jordan. "I'll be out in a couple of minutes."

He kept his eyes on the chick as he nodded. "I'll be right out here."

I walked in and found the living room completely empty. Looking over my shoulder, I raised my eyebrow at the chick as she shut the door in Jordan's face. "Where is he?"

She pointed down the hallway and I shook my head at her nonsense as I lifted my hoodie over my hair. "Don't you motherfuckers believe that light makes your guests feel welcomed?" I asked when I noticed that the hallway was enclosed in total darkness.

She shrugged as a small grin came over her face.

"Well you could turn it on," I suggested, my arms across my chest, "or you can't and I fucking leave."

I kept my glare on her as she walked over to the wall that was near the kitchen and lowered the switch, leaving the living room that we were in, in darkness.

Does she not know how to use the goddamn switch?

Bitch.

I scrunched my eyebrows together when the sound of a door opening echoed throughout the room.

Oh.

Hyyyyell.

No.

I shoved my hand under my shirt, ready to whip out my gun and uh…

Do what exactly?

Shoot bullets up in the air, like I'm in some goddamn war in Iraq?

What with how dark it was in this motherfucker.

Screw that and whatever pony that you rode on…my point being is that it was about to be 'Mr. & Mrs. Goddamn Smith' in this mother.

Just as I wrapped my fingers around the handle, someone lifted me up in the air and threw me against the wall, to which I assume, seeing as to how hard it was.

I went to kick one of my legs out, but whoever was holding me against said wall, pressed his whole body over mine. When I tried to punch the fucker, he grabbed a hold of my wrists and slammed my hands against the paint.

"Don't even think about it," he growled, his body over mine leaving me no room to breathe.

I clenched my eyes shut before opening them up again, trying to make out whoever was holding me back.

It was useless.

I couldn't see shit.

It was like a goddamn cave in this bitch…

Am I some kind of a bear…

In hibernation?

Christ.

"Get off," I hissed, pushing my body off of the wall and against his.

I was also apparently a dog in heat.

Figures.

"Drop the package," he spat, his breath hot against my face.

Tick tac anyone?

Maybe this wasn't the time to be worrying about hygiene, yes?

"Give me the fucking money."

A harsh laugh echoed throughout the silent room as I felt one of his hands running down my side. I ground my teeth together, knowing what his fingers were searching for. "I don't think so," he hummed, taking a hold of my gun.

"Let me the fuck g—"

My words caught in my throat when I felt the barrel of my pistol run along my cheek. Clenching my fists together, I growled. "Let me the fuck go."

"Drop the package, bitch, and you'll get what you wan—"

The front door being kicked open interrupted the piece of shit in front of me and I grinned as some light came from the outside. Looking up at the dude, I went to head butt him but then the kitchen door by us swung open, revealing two other random guys who came busting ass out into the room, their guns held in front of them.

Two point seven seconds later, the light came on and I saw the chick who let me inside earlier stumbling down the hallway. The dude who was holding me quickly pulled me off of the wall before threwing my body in front of him, holding my gun up against my temple.

Christ. This is all too familiar.

Might as well throw my hands up in the goddamn air…

Wave them around like I just don't care.

I lowered my head and closed my eyes, hissing from the pain that the douche behind me caused as he tightened his arms around my waist.

"POLICE! Get your hands up!"

Oh God.

I'm going in.

I knew it, man…

Those cameramen never carried a boom box over their shoulder.

Too goddamn conspicuous.

They most likely do that shit in the editing room, yeah?

I raised an eyebrow.

That voice

My breath caught as I quickly lifted my head and opened my eyes.

My jaw dropped as I stared into those familiar green orbs.

Edward?

In fucking uniform?

I clenched my eyes shut before opening them up again.

Am I dreaming?

I mean…

I ain't denying the shit.

I had dreams where Edward was a cop…

I may have envisioned myself as being one of America's Most Wanted criminals.

I won't deny the fact that I had his ass strip search my ass.

And maybe, just maybe, there was a pair of handcuffs involved.

Because Edward was a goddamn cop!

Looking around the room, I gritted my teeth.

Blue Eyes. Pointing his gun at the dude behind me.

I clenched my eyes shut and reopened them, once again.

Matt. Pointing his pistol at dude # 2.

Ken. Pointing his weapon at dude # 3.

Dick. Also pointing his gun at dude # 3.

Is that…Pop?

Shaking my head, I looked back at Edward, who was standing a couple of feet away from me. His finger slowly moved to the safety, where he clicked it off.

"Lower the fucking gun," Edward spat, repeating himself.

"You're a cop!" I spat back.

His eyes moved to mine quickly before he looked back at the idiot behind me. "Not right now, Bae," he spat.

"You're a goddamn cop!" I spat, looking at him incredulously.

"Christ," he mumbled, tightening his hold around his gun. Looking at me, his lip twitched angrily. "Chill the fuck out," he spat back.

There was a lot of spitting going on in the vicinity.

As you can see.

"Drop your weapon," Pop said, all calm and freaky like…like…

He's been doing this shit for ages!

"And you!" I yelled, narrowing my eyes at Carlisle.

"Bella, calm down," he said, keeping his aim at the dude behind me.

"YOU!" I yelled, ignoring his calmness.

Hello!

Not the time to be calm.

Fuck calm.

This is crazy time, people.

Crazy time.

Pop's eyes moved to Edward quickly before he loosened his hold on his gun. After making sure that his son had his eyes on the asshole behind me, Pop met my glare. "You need to relax," he whispered.

"A COP!" I yelled, once more.

Maybe Pop had a hearing problem…

Because he obviously didn't understand the seriousness in this goddamn serious situation.

"I'll shoot her, man! I swear!" the freak on a leash behind me shouted, once again causing me to flinch from the pressure of his goddamn grip around me.

Something in Edward's demeanor changed and Blue Eyes caught it as he narrowed his eyes at his cousin, who moved his gun slightly to the left.

Is he really pointing his pistol at me?

No.

I glared at him and Edward grinned in return, his eyes moving to the dude behind me again.

That fucker.

He really was.

Carlisle shook his head as he kept his aim. "Edward. Don't."

"What if I shoot her?" Edward asked, in some cool and collected type of a voice. "What are you going to do then?"

"If you pull that trig—" I choked as the dude's grip left my waist before his arm wrapped itself around my neck instead.

"Testing my patience," Blue Eyes growled.

I kept my eyes on Edward as he lowered his gun, pointing it at my leg.

Dick grimaced, keeping his eyes on Dude # 3. "Oh hell," he groaned.

Matt kept his attention on Dude # 2 as he shook his head. "Don't do it man," he whispered.

"Edward," I whispered, venom in my voice and eyes, "you better think twice before yo—FUCK!"

I gritted my teeth as I felt the bullet pierce through my leg. The dude's arm around my neck loosened and I fell down, clenching my eyes shut as the pain radiated up my goddamn thigh. "Oh you piece of—ohhh," I exhaled, lifting my head and meeting his wide eyes. "You just…wait."

Edward ignored me as he quickly lifted his gun, pointing it behind me. I looked over my shoulder and saw the dude who was holding me up earlier aiming my gun right back at Edward.

Edward smirked. "Now, you don't have a hostage."

"I'll shoot you, motherfuc—"

I rolled my eyes as I threw my arm up in the air, interrupting the kid's bitching by punching him on the balls.

Dumb ass.

I picked up my gun that fell out of his hand as he dropped and ground my teeth together as I slowly crawled over the wall, trying like all hell to not to scream from the pain in my leg. Turning around, I leaned on the hard surface and aimed my gun at the dude who was holding onto his balls.

"Drop it."

I kept my aim as I looked over to the right and raised an eyebrow at Jordan, who had his eyes on me as he pointed his own pistol towards my face.

"Am I being punked?" I whispered, narrowing my eyes at no one in particular. "No, really. Where the hell is Aston Kutcher hiding?"

"Drop your gun, Bella," he growled, ignoring my question.

"Move your aim."

I looked over at Edward and groaned when he moved his aim from the douche crying on the floor to Jordan instead, his jaw in a state of ice.

"I said, move your aim, motherfucker," he repeated.

"The lady is not a victim," he replied, keeping his eyes on me. "She's selling, Cullen."

Christ.

I'm dead serious.

Where. The. Fuck. Is. Kutcher?

"If I have to repeat myself again," Edward whispered angrily, his finger steady on the trigger, "it's not going to be through my voice."

Jordan grinned as he clicked the safety off of his pistol.

Matt pursed his lips as he looked over at Jasper, who in return caught the gesture and gave him a quick nod before moving his aim from the crying idiot in front of me to Dude #2.

Matt's arm moved slightly as he remained in position before he aimed his gun at Jordan's foot. The kid's eyes to my right stayed on my form as Matt gave me a quick wink before pulling the trigger.

Jordan cursed as he abruptly fell down onto the floor, dropping his gun in the process of clutching his foot. Looking over at Matt, he growled.

"You shot an officer!"

Matt shrugged. "Your aim was wrong."

Dick rolled his eyes. "I knew that he looked familiar."

Pop's lips tightened in amusement as he kept his aim on the fool in front of me, who was mind you, still blubbering away.

Edward looked over at me as he kept his aim on Jordan. "What did I tell you?" he whispered with a raised eyebrow.

I narrowed my eyes at him as I pointed to my leg. "I'm bleeding, no?"

He grimaced before nodding at his Pop, who moved his aim to Jordan.

Walking over to the guy whose nuts were bruised, he grabbed onto his collar as he picked him up, using his other hand to shove his gun into his holster. Wrapping handcuffs around the weeping baby's wrists, he pursed his lips as his eyes met mine. "The ambulance is on the way."

I mocked happiness. "Well thank you, fucking officer!"

He rolled his eyes as he placed his hands behind the dude's neck. "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to speak to a fucking attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, too goddamn bad. Do you understand these rights as they have been read to you?"

"Can I get some ice?" the douche bag asked with a groan.

"Nope," Edward replied, tightening his fingers around the guys neck.

Blue Eyes yawned as he looked over at Pop. "I'm getting tired, Chief. What are we doing with these two?"

I narrowed my eyes at Carlisle.

Chief, though?

Oh God.

Did I miss something here?

Who were these people?

Edward shrugged as he took his gun out and waved it between Dude # 2 and Dude # 3. "I shot Bae. I have no problem in exercising that on these two."

Pop nodded as he lowered his gun, seeing as to how Jordan's current predicament prevented him from doing shit. "Copy that."

The two dudes looked at each other quickly before Dude # 3 shook his head as he lowered his gun down to the floor. Standing up, he held his hands up in the air. "I'd rather keep my legs."

Edward nodded and moved his aim to Dude # 2. "I changed my mind," he whispered, grinning as he lowered his gun towards the dude's groin area. "I would rather just shoot clear through."

Dude # 2's eyes widened before he shook his head. Clicking the safety on, he threw his gun at Matt, who grinned as he caught it.

"I tend to have that kind of relationship with my balls too," Ken stated, nodding towards Dude # 2. "Smart man."

Blue Eyes and Dick walked over to them and read them their Miranda Rights. I turned my attention to Edward and growled his name before he looked down and me and grimaced. "Shit, Bella. I didn't me—"

I shook my head, interrupting him. "I need help getting up."

Carlisle walked over to us and took the limp dick away from his son's responsibility. Bending down a little bit, Edward placed his hand over my wound, causing me to hiss in return. "I have to put press—"

Using all of my energy, I threw my arm back before letting my fist connect with his once perfect nose. "You…idiot!" I spat, grimacing before shaking my hand out.

"Christ, Bae!" he hissed, glaring at me as he covered his bloody nose.

"You shot me, dip-shit," I gritted, placing my arm over his shoulder.

His jaw tensed as he grabbed my other hand and placed it over my current thug-life injury. I narrowed my eyes at him as he used way more than goddamn necessary pressure, placing his hand over my own as he pressed down. "It saved your life, ye—"

"Just put me in an ambulance," I interrupted.

Placing one hand over my back and the other arm under my ass, he slowly lifted me up and I clenched my eyes shut. "Look, I'm sor—"

"When I get home, I'm packing my shit."

"What?"

"You didn't hear me?" I asked, opening my eyes as his steps stopped.

"You're moving out?"

I nodded as I looked away.

"Bae, come o—"

"This whole time," I whispered, meeting his eyes, "this whole fucking time, you were an undercover."

"Bella, I couldn't say anything," he tried, "it goes deeper th—"

"You know what?" I interrupted, "I don't even know wh—"

"Come on!" he groaned, his voice incredulous. I shook my head as I looked away from him. "Don't tell me that you don't know me."

"I don't," I whispered.

"Look at m—"

"I'll take it from here, Officer," the paramedic interrupted him, pushing the stretcher into the living room.

He whispered my name, ignoring him. "Look at me."

I shook my head before nodding towards the stretcher. "Let me go."

"Be—"

"Let me go," I whispered, repeating myself.

My eyes closed as he lowered me down onto the stretcher. Turning my head away from where he was standing, I hissed when the paramedic brushed my hand away and started prodding around the area that was evidently sore.

"Fucking easy," I growled, pushing his hand away.

He mumbled an apology and moved to the head of the stretcher when another paramedic came to us and took the bottom. Edward called out my name as they started wheeling me out and I rolled my eyes before closing them, trying to disregard everything that was going on around me.

Something didn't sit right with me.

At all.

Everything that he told me…

Was any of it true?

Why couldn't Edward let me know that he was a cop?

And, what about me moving in with him?

Christ.

Sleeping with him?

Did Edward know that I was going to be involved with the whole James bullshit, even prior to my acknowledgment?

And were his arguments against me joining…

Was it just some goddamn ploy because he knew that I despised it when people told me no? That I couldn't or wouldn't do something?

He knew James. And Andy. All of that bullshit, he recognized.

He was there from the goddamn beginning.

He was the one, trying to start a friendship with me.

Meeting me outside of Andy's porch that first night, trying to find out about my story. Persisting on walking me home that night, telling me that girls were vulnerable.

The next day at the diner. Him and Emmett almost getting into a fight.

Why was Edward so about it? He didn't even know me back then.

Him coming to Eclipse the next night, all about apologizing.

Why was he so persistent? With everything?

That first kiss, after I electrocuted him.

Oh God…

Was this his whole plan? From the goddamn beginning?

To lead me into working with James?

All that he had to do was tell me no, and he knew that.

Was this selling bullshit more than what I actually thought of it as?

Emmett.

The memories flashed through my mind, with the time Emmett came by Eclipse. Before he got locked up, the big showdown of arguments.

He called Edward an actor.

My own brother.

Lied to me?

No.

Was he working with Edward?

Against me?

And…Rose?

How can she possibly not be involved.

That was her man.

And the reason that I got involved in James' bullshit, was for her.

Not me.

She wasn't the one who worried about people's ruined lives…that were in my hands.

My doing.

For her.

Suddenly…I felt alone.

Like everyone around me, the people that mattered the most…

Didn't matter about me.

When this whole time, they were all my everything.

My everything that, everyday…I worried about.

I felt betrayed.

Hurt.

Used.

But more than anything…

I felt lost.
