The resulting changes in events set about a very different direction for the characters and brings up memories of Lex Luthor's history with Clark and Lois.

Clark and Jordan return home after their flight-training in the fortress and happily tell Jonathan about what they did! But Jonathan still remembers his father's promise in the barn. Or: How the barn-scene should have really ended!
