Chapter 3:
Bakura stood in the middle of the living room. Yamino sat on the couch. "This isn't going to work. I can't be as nice to people I don't like as Ra would to you people. It's not like I ever observed Ra!" Yamino shook her head. "Good for you. Now try a Japanese accent instead of Egyptian." He growled at her. She just laughed. Then there were footsteps behind them. Yamino turned quickly. "Hey Brandon look who's here." Brandon looked at Bakura who he thought was Ra. He didn't quite believe that he really wasn't possessed until he broke out in a big smile. "Hey Brandon, long time no see." Brandon nodded and grunted as he went to the kitchen to get breakfast.
Yamino ran over to him. "Oh my god, Bakura that was amazing!" He rubbed his cheeks. "Damn that hurt Yamino!" he swore. She chuckled. "Oh suck it up. If you want the power of darkness you'll have to do a lot more than that." They went out to the kitchen too. Yamino grabbed a peice of cold pizza out of the fridge. Bakura sat. "You want one Ra?" she smiled evilly. He paused for a moment. Think like Ra he told himself. "No thanks Yamino. Do you happen to have any muffins Brandon?"
Brandon turned to his bread box and tossed a muffin to him. He caught it easliy with one hand. "Wow that's a little athletic for you Ra." Bakura froze. If he blew it Yamino would kill him. In fact he felt her dangerous energy already. "Um...oh I've been practicing." Brandon nodded and Bakura heaved a sigh of relieve. "So what now?" he asked. "We wait." He growled.
"Why can't we fight now?" Bakura cracked his knuckles. Yamino laid her hands on his. For a moment they were fine then they began to blush. She removed her hands quickly. "Ra doesn't crack his knuckles. He thinks it's repulsive." He sighed. "You know a lot about Ra," Bakura muttered. Yamino elbowed him. "Jealous?" He looked away. "He goes to the same school and is my friend dumbass!" He looked up at her. Bakura shook his head. "You sure are a strange girl." He got a far away look in his eyes. Yamino knew he was thinking about Egypt long ago. "Well are you going to tell me?" He was snapped out of it. "No." She sighed.
"Do we have to wait?" he asked changing the subject. Yamino nodded. "Unless you wanna fight him alone." Bakura fell back into his chair and took a viscious bite of his muffin. He wrinkled his nose. "Yamino I hate you." She raised an eyebrow at him. "You got me into being a good boy and eating a muffin." He pouted, "I hate muffins." She laughed, "If that's the only reason you hate me then I'm ok with that."
