Chapter 4
Yamino, Brandon, and Bakura all continued throughout the day to do their separate things. Brandon played his video games. Bakura learned how hard it was to pretend he was Ra. Yamino spent her time laughing at Bakura. That was how their day went until lunch. Yamino had another slice of cold pizza and was laying on the couch. Bakura sat on the arm. "Do you eat anything but pizza?" he hissed under his breath. "Well duh, but pizza is easy and tasty." He grunted. Yamino chuckled a bit. They heard a knock at the door and looked at each other.
"I'm killing an evil king of death!" Brandon said from his controller. "In other words you want one of us to answer it because you're too lazy to?" He nodded, "Yup." Yamino smiled up at Bakura. He shook his head. "I'm your Pharaoh and I demand that you answer the door," she smirked. He narrowed his eyes and growled. "I don't have to answer your damn door. I'm not your servant." She batted her eyelashes at him then whispered, "Ra would already be at the door." He pursed his lips but got up and went over to get the door.
Two people came in. "Took you guys long enough to answer that door," came Amber's voice. Yamino jumped over the couch. "Hey!" Despite Yamino's protests Amber gave her a big hug. Then when Yamino freed herself she saw the other person was Osiris. He still avoided her eyes. She smiled and extended her hand. "Welcome back to the group." He timidly took her hand. Behind her she heard Amber asking Brandon if his parents were clean when they asked him to house sit for them. He yelled at her and lost points so he yelled some more. It felt so good to have everyone together again.
"So where do we go from here?" Bakura asked. Yamino stood on a table. "Ok people, we're going to KaibaCorp." There were frowns all around and a few groans. "Why do we gotta go there?" Brandon groaned. "Because Mokuba has one of the Millennium Items and we need him. That's why." Eventually she got everyone rounded up and at least grudgingly ok with the idea of going to Kaiba Corp.
They must have looked like some sort of strange gang walking along the back streets of Tokyo. Which was part way true. If anyone had chosen to pick a fight with them none of them would have to lift a finger and the people would be gone. Finally they reached Kaiba Corp. It had a huge stone wall and iron wrought gates. "Well i guess we don't get in." Brandon started to walk away. Yamino grabbed his collar. "Not so fast kid."
She grabbed the poles of the gates. "No pervs making any comments please!" she growled as she shimmied her way up the gate and threw herself over the spikes at the top. She hit the ground and went over to the electronic door opener mechanism. The rest of them came in. They charged through the hallways ignoring the security cameras and if anyone got in their way they were simply knocked out and stuffed in a closet or left in the middle of the hall, something like that. They barely noticed the fine technology surrounding them. Probably because over half of them were obcessed with ancient Egypt and so had no time to care and they had their enemies on their mind.
Finally they neared the end of the hallway. They was a grand metal door probably controlled from the inside. Bakura stepped forward holding his Millennium Ring. "The Millennium eye is behind there." Yamino nodded and strode up to the door. She put her hand to it then backed up and kicked it. The door was still for a moment then came crashing down. "You need to teach me that someday," Brandon said in awe.
