Sorry for the delay, my dad and uncle have had control over my computer since my dad's broke. It got fixed so I hope to write more now (: And thanks to the review from the prologue, without it I probably would've never continued this. Okay, so here we go.

Her Name: Neru Akita

Favorite Things: Yellow, Cell phones, Electronics, Fruit flavored snacks, Katanas… blahblahblah etc etc.

Favorite thing to do: Tell each and every person exactly how and why she hated them. Even when she didn't.

Her best friend (although she'd never admit that) Haku Yowane was offering her the lemon drink. She loved lemon.

"I don't like lemon. It's too sour."

"Yeah… I know Neru…" Haku replied softly, still offering the drink.

"Well if you're just going to hold it out like that I'll force it down so you don't look so stupid." She said bitterly, taking the drink from Haku and popping it open.

"Thank you, Neru…"

"Yeah, whatever." She drank, feigning disgust over the delight of the drink.

Haku didn't even look offended. That's why Neru secretly thought of her as her best friend. She didn't get mad or offended about what Neru said or did. She just took it as Neru and that was all. She knew Neru didn't really mean what she said; and Neru was desperately grateful for that. Although she wouldn't admit it.

"Hey Haku..."

"Yes, Neru..?"

"You know that new boy..?"

"Yes, Neru…"

"Well… He's probably going to be annoying… so we should go check him out and tell him the rules."

"Okay, Neru…"

Haku got up slowly as Neru tapped her foot impatiently, looking around briskly to see if anyone was watching them. When Haku finally got up Neru grabbed onto her wrist and pulled her away, Haku offering her no resistance and just letting herself be pulled along.

Okay, so the house wasn't entirely horrible. It was actually kind of nice. It was one of Neru's favorite colors, Light Yellow. No green was anywhere in sight except for the unavoidable green of the plants around it. Not that horrible Blue-green that made her sick. Green, most definitely, was her enemy. She noticed a few garden plots already laid out with a couple of small trees already planted.

"Wonder what those are." She said as she gestured to the trees.

"I don't know, Neru…" Haku replied in her usual tone, unsure and yet still there; plain as day.

"Oh well."

She turned, the trees already forgotten and dragged Haku to the door.

She knocked,

And knocked,

And knocked,

Right before she gave up, scowling, someone suddenly opened the door.

And time,

Stopped.

How was that for a first chapter? Sorry for the cliffhanger, but I just love suspense. Adds excitement. I will definitely be updating this very soon. Leave reviews! Please. Criticism helps!
