How will the world end?
Some say in fire, some say in ice
Will we burn or freeze?
We don't know.
Will we perish in the flames of hell?
Or feel the cold touch of the next ice age?
Will it be quick and painless?
Or slow and torturous?
We don't know.
Will the heat of the moment finally get to us?
Or will we stand tall despite the odds?
Either way it doesn't matter
We'll die anyway.
Will we be reduced to ashes?
Or will we rise above it?
Will we pierce the earth with our deafening screams?
Or we go out in silence?
