IMPORTANT AUTHORS NOTE!

Hi *waves madly* I don't really have much to say which is strange but I really want you guys to check out my youtube channel. I have a new story on there and an important note about a new story I have coming out here on fanfiction. Please, please check them out! I have only had one person who had replied to my latest video about my new story on here and I really want some more! Don't forget the * :) Oh and only one person that did that on the last chapter? Hmm :P

Anyways as you know there were flashbacks in the last chapter and there will be more in the rest. Although some of the flashbacks weren't in A Summer With Troy Bolton they're just bits in the middle.

Thank you to: pumpkinking5, bubzchoc, Zanessastories1225788, XxBabiiGurlxX and Clembo29 for reviewing the last chapter!

Enjoy! (And yes I know it's short and rubbish)

Summary: "You never called or text me" "I know" "Why?" "Because I didn't want to hurt you." She rolled her eyes. Starting college was hard but she didn't think falling back in love with him would make things easier. Sequel to A Summer With Troy Bolton

I, Gabriella Montez, sighed for the millionth time that day. When I woke up my toast wouldn't come out of the toaster, then I burnt my favorite top with the iron then to top all things off my hair wouldn't go right so I had to go round all day looking like a complete and utter mess. People had been giving me strange looks all day. I already knew I looked like a freak, they didn't need to make me feel any worse! I walked into the canteen because, well... I was hungry. Troy looked up and waved when he saw me, he was sitting with a few other guys I had never even seen before. But, when Troy waved it made them all turn around. I walked quickly to the queue, I was stood behind some short guy with a really bad case of acne and to top it all off, she absolutely stunk. I was completely relieve when I reached the very front of the line. I picked up a bottle of water, a chocolate ship cookie and an apple. After paying for my things I stepped out of the line and walked over to the canteen doors. I heard Troy calling my name from behind me "Heyy, Gabriella! Wait up!"

I stood still and turned around to face the person I had once let hold my heart. "What's up Troy?" I questioned, taking a short drink of my water from it's bottle.

Troy bit his lower lip "I was wondering if you were free to do something later today" He told me, his eyes wide open and full of hope

"I'm sorry" I sighed "I have loads of studying to do, maybe another time" I told him, I kinda did want to hang out with Troy but like I said I and loads af studying to do. And I mean LOADS.

He nodded, his perfectly blue eyes dropping "Uh, maybe I'll pop around your apartment later. Chad told me where it was"

For some strange reason I blushed as he flicked his hair out from his eyes "Yeah, that would be great. I gotta go, so I'll see you later"

"Yeah, bye Gabriella"

I smiled to myself as I walked away from Troy. Maybe we could sort things out. Hopefully we would be okay after all. As I walked along the path two people caught my eye. It was a girl from one of my classes and her boyfriend. She had told me alot about him. I watched as they leaned in for a kiss. They were both smiling happily and they looked completley content.

Flashback

"Wow" Was what I heard behind me. I turned around and looked at the door. Troy. He was leaning against the door frame, smiling. He walked towards me and sat down, putting an arm around my shoulders. "You're a really good singer Brie"

I smiled. I looked out the window. It was pouring it down.

"Come on" He spoke.

I looked back at him "What?"

He didn't sat anything. He just grabbed my hand pulled me down the stairs and out the front door "Troy, it's raining"

"I know, but when you were singing you said 'kiss me on the sidewalk' so that's exactly what I'm going to do"

I smiled at him and giggled. But I wasn't smiling for long. My cell rang. I looked at the caller. Tay. "I have to take this"

Troy nodded, sadly.

"Hello?"

"Gabi!"

"Tay, what's wrong?"

"I can't go to the party tomorrow"

"I'm not going either, but why?"

"Me and my parents have to go some fancy dinner with some stuck up snobs"

"Aww Tay, it will be okay"

"Ugh, but Gabs this family is really rich, all they care about is how they look and how shiny their shoes are"

"Taylor, you'll be fine"

"I hope so, what are you doing anyways"

"Standing out in the rain, talking to you"

"Why the hell are you in the rain"

"Oh, I'll tell you later. And I'm also in my pyjamas"

"Okay...Well I gotta go"

"Okay chica. Love ya like a sis"

"Same, bye hun"

I hung up and looked over at Troy. "I'm so sorry about that"

"It's okay" He whispered

"Why are you whispering?" I questioned, laughing at the look on his face

Troy scratched the back of his neck "I'm not really sure"

"So, are you going to carry on?" I asked

He grinned and started to lean in. We were so close. Our lips touched...

End of flashback

I let myself sigh again...please let that be the last time for today! I don't really want to come over as some moody young adult that's always upset. I stepped into the apartment and started to study.

Later, I heard the front door open from where I was in my room. I could hear Troy talking away and I grinned. I closed my books and ran out of the room "Hi guys"

"Hi Gabsters" Chad laughed, picking me up and spinning me around,

I giggled against his shoulder. "Heyy Chaddie"

Chad put me down "What'cha doing?"

"Studying" I sigh, opening a book

"Can't you stop for an hour? We were going to go and get some pizza" Chad grinned, taking a hold of my right hand

I grinned "Okay. But you know, it's your fault if I don't do well in this test"

"I know, I know"

I looked over at Troy as the five of us walked out the door. She smiled at me and winked. And you know what I nearly did? I nearly fainted.
