Chapter One
A glass of scotch was shaking on the side table and a boost of wind flew by. 'Good morning….' Damon said as he pushed open the door. 'Took you long enough' Alaric joked, He stepped into the hall passed Damon and walked through to the living room. 'So what is it you want now?' Damon demanded impatiently. 'I have to ask you something, something important' Alaric said a little hesitantly. 'You have to get Elena out of the house! Even Jeremy and Bonnie can't get her out of the house.' Alaric replied. 'So what is the question?' Damon demanded again, 'Can you get her out of the house? That is my question.' Damon gave Alaric a skeptical look, 'why would you think I could get her out of the house?', Alaric gave Damon the same skeptical glance and he agreed to talk to Elena.
Elena was lying on her back with her head pointed towards the ground, her long brown hair sweeping the carpeted floor. Her green walls were pinned with newspaper articles about, animal attacks from all over the world. Her journal lay on her side board table opened on her last entry.
Damon came into her room and knocked twice before he entered. Elena opened one of her eyes, saw Damon and then closed them again. Her eyes were red and puffy as if she would have been crying.
'So still hung up on my baby bro are you?' Damon joked, he pulled out her desk chair turned it around and sat on with his arms resting on the backrest.
He put his head down and gave Elena a puppy dog look. Elena gave him an angry glance and threw a pillow. 'Easy, easy I am still recovering remember? From almost dying!' he laughed. He stood up determinedly and said 'Let's go, come on get up!' Elena wormed herself back onto the bed and crawled back in to bed. She pulled the covers over her head and tried to ignore Damon. But he doesn't take no for an answer and he lifted her out of bed as easily if she would have been a dog. He threw her over his shoulder and dumped her in his car. 'So where are we going?' Damon asked happily. 'Damon come on, I don't want to go anywhere. I just want to find Stefan'. Elena replied.
'Well you are not going to find him staying locked up in your room' Damon stated as he backed out of the driveway.
Halfway across town Jeremy sat in the grill waiting for Bonnie to come and meet him. He looked tired, his hair was ruffled and he had bags under his eyes. In front of him stood a big mug of coffee, as he took a few sips. 'Jeremy, Jeremy!' Bonnie ran into the grill with a big grin on her face! 'I found him she shouted' remembering where she was. She stopped running and try to recover her statue. She walked towards the table and sat down next to Jeremy. 'So where is he?' he demanded.
'He's with Klaus!'….
