After everyone was done discussing about when they will meet up they go their separate ways.
"So I have to wait until Jiraya-sensei returns with Naruto before I can start training with him." Ino mutters to herself as she walks towards home. All of a sudden the wind picks up. Ino turns around " I sense a disturbance around here….. Hmm? I smell blood!" Ino takes off running to find out what's happening. As she runs she pulls out her Anbu mask and slides it on.
As Ino gets closer to her destination she prepares herself for battle. " Whoever is here they are very strong. I must be ready to fight." As she turns the corner of the top floor she stops. *Naruto? What's he doing here.* Naruto turns around and sees Ino but he doesn't realize it's her.
"It's the Akatsuki! They took down Sasuke!" He says.
*Sasuke? He's here?* Ino looks past Naruto to see Sasuke on the ground next to an Akatsuki member.
As Ino looks at Sasuke the Akatsuki member next to him turns around and looks at her.
"Are you here to stop me?" the man says.
Ino looks up at him. *It's Itachi Uchiha! Sasuke's elder brother.*
"Yes I am here to stop you. As a member of the Anbu it's my duty to defend Naruto from the Akatsuki. And since you even hurt Sasuke I will punish you even more." Ino pulls out a kunai and takes a fighting stance.
"I have no want to fight you Ino Gintoki. You're in my way so, leave so that I and Kisame may take Naruto." Itachi tells Ino with smirk.
" How do you know my name" Ino says quietly.
"That mask.. I remember it from long ago when I was in the Anbu. Ino there's no need for you to stop me. You never could before and you can't now." And with that Itachi activates his sharingan. "Now sleep Ino"
"No! I can't sleep! I must protect Naruto." Ino readies herself. She glances back at Naruto one time and then charges at Itachi.
"Mangekyo Sharingan!"
Everything turns black…..
