About two weeks into the month long break, Matsuyu began to question his parents about their ninja lives. When he was done with his report, here is what it said:
My Parents
Naruto Uzumaki
My father started out as an orphan. He had no family, no friends, and his entire village hated him. Once he was old enough to enter the ninja academy, he did so and became known as a troublemaker. He had a crush on one of his classmates, Sakura. Eventually, he was accepted by his teacher, Iruka, as a friend. He later came to be friends with all of his classmates. He became Genin, went on missions, and started becoming a better person altogether. When his best friend, Sasuke Uchiha, left him behind and joined a man who, at the time, was the most wanted person in the country: Orochimaru. As he grew stronger, this friend also became powerful. This led to the Fourth Ninja War, in which dad's friend appeared to return to the good side by killing the enemy. Of course, this was not the case and he was still evil.
As time went on, my father continued to hunt for Sasuke relentlessly, but Sasuke had become a master of deception and hiding. During this time, he suddenly became close friends with my mother (you'll learn about her next). As their relationship developed, something unexpected happened. Sasuke Uchiha himself came and challenged my dad to a final battle, stating that one of them would die that day. Neither of them died that day. Sasuke rejoined the leaf village and became Jonin alongside the rest of their class. Dad married Mom. Then, I was born.
Hinata Hyuuga
My mother has always been very shy. Although she was first born, her younger sister, Hanabi, received more attention from their father, due to her lack of shyness and excess amount of strength. Although she trained as hard as she could, her little sister was always one step ahead of her. When she enrolled in the Ninja Academy, she became flustered with love for my father. As she progressed as a ninja, she still didn't seem to get his attention. But when she defended him during an assault on the village, he automatically knew that she was someone worth respecting.
On one mission with Dad, she found that he loved her as well. They continued to search for Sasuke, and eventually found him, making him rejoin the village. Soon after this, my dad proposed to my mom and they were quickly married. I was born about a year or two later.
