Annabeth POV:

"Stop! You can't have any almonds here! Annabeth is allergic to them!" Kate screeched, as someone tried to walk into the room where my baby shower was being held with a plate of desserts that had almonds on them.

"Um, Kate, I'm allergic to pistachio, not almonds." I laughed.

"Oh, uh, well you just go set up those desserts on the dessert table then." She said slightly embarrassed.

I was sitting on a chair in the big house next to Nico, who was stealing food from every tray that passed by.

"So when are you gonna pop those twins out?" He asked taking a huge bite out of a brownie.

"3 weeks. And don't ever ask me when I'm going to 'pop' them out again." I said, snatching the brownie from his hands and eating it.

"Fine, but you do realize you're going to have to name one after me. Nico Junior." He said, smiling smugly as he stole another brownie.

"Nico, you do realize I'm have twin girls, right?" I asked.

"Yeah, I know." He said. "Nico Junior. I like the sound of that don't you?"

"No Nico. I'm not naming one of my daughters after you. Get that through your head." I said, laughing. "I already told you Percy and I already picked out names!"

"Yeah but Sophia and Hali don't have any resemblance to your godly parents or anything!" He said.

"What are you talking about? Sophia is Greek for wisdom and Hali is Greek for the sea? Could their even be a bigger tribute?" I said amused.

"I know one!" He argued.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah! Nico Junior!"

"You're useless, know that?" I chuckled.

"I'm a genius." He said, crossing his arms.

"Oh yeah? Spell genius then." I said, raising an eye brow.

"Uh.. j-e-n-u-i-s?" He guessed.

Thalia turned around and gave him an a death stare. "I obviously don't love you for your brains." She sneered

"No, you love me for my looks!" He said, framing his face with his hands.

Thalia took one look and me, Kate, and Rachel, and we all burst out in laughter.

"This is what I deal with on a daily basis." She said, throwing her hands in the air in defeat.

"Well at least Nico isn't comparison shopping for infant swim coaches." I laughed.

"Him too?" Kate said, her eyes getting wide. "Zach has been babbling about that for weeks!" she said expressing her amusement.

"Must be a family thing." Rachel laughed. "You just wait, Annabeth. You're kids are going to be little chatty Kathy's that love to swim." She said jokingly.

"Tell me about it…" I mumbled, but I was still smiling.

Percy strode in with Zach and Grover, and came and sat down next me. Zach and Grover were carrying presents, and a girl named Lacey from the Aphrodite cabin directed them to the designated present area.

"Okay y'all!" Kate said in a very loud voice and she climbed on a table. "We're gonna get started with the activities!"

About twenty-five girls from the Aphrodite cabin squealed.

"Hey Kate, you do realize I'm probably not leaving my chair, right?" I asked.

"Yeah I know that!" She said happily, and pranced off to a scrap booking tabled.

"Works for me." I said. "Hey, someone hand me some cake!" I yelled, trying to get someone's attention.

"I'll get it, wise girl." Percy said, giving me a dazzling smile.

"Thank you, seaweed brain." I said, returning the smile.
