I DO NOT OWN PJO, RICK RIORDAN DOES

I know it's a little on the shorter side, but there will like one more later today! :)

please review! I appreciate every review I get! :)

Annabeth POV:

"What do you mean an epidural won't work!" I screeched.

"Annabeth, I told you! Being a demi-god your blood won't absorb the epidural like a regular mortal would!" Kate said nervously.

"Is there anything else I can take?" I asked. I was not planning on under going the pain of a natural birth.

"Well…no. I'm sorry Annabeth. Lots of women around the world do this everyday!" She said, trying to empathize.

I sighed. "I'm sorry Percy." I breathed as a held his hand.

"Why would you be sorry?" He asked confused.

Kate looked at him and we both started to laugh. "Good thing you're invincible!" She laughed.

"I don't get it!" Percy argued.

Kate met my expression. "A woman in childbirth's strength increases by like…a lot. Annabeth can whoop your behind anyway, so just be prepared when she's having the twins." Kate laughed.

Percy gulped. "Nah, it's okay. I'll be fine." He said uneasily.

"Okay Annabeth, now I want you to push one last time!" The doctor said in a much to pleasant voice.

I screamed on the top of lungs hoping that it would help relieve the pain, which it did not.

I stopped for a moment. Percy was standing beside me holding my hand, and Thalia was on the other side of looking like she was going to cry. I had asked for her to be there, because Percy and I both wanted her to be the Godmother.

"How bad is it?" Percy asked, trying to help, but it wasn't exactly helpful.

"Do you remember holding up the sky?" I managed.

Percy flinched. "Yes."

"Imagine that times 1000." I breathed.

"Oh, Annabeth, honey, I'm so sorry." He said, looking guilty

"Okay, Annabeth. This is it!" The doctor said once again in the pleasant voice that made me want to strangle him.

I screamed and shouted as loud as I possibly could, and squeezed Percy's hand. Suddenly there was a loud 'crack!' and Percy stifled a scream.

I broke his hand. I. Broke. His. Hand.

"Percy I-" tried to say, but I was cut off by my own screaming. But then something happened that made it all worth the pain.

The doctor and A few nurse bundled these two little people up in blankets and handed them to Thalia and I. Percy was getting his hand looked at by the doctor.

I heard him argue with the doctor, and he made it over to where I was. Thalia instantly handed over one of the babies to Percy. Tears streamed down his face as he looked at our beautiful daughters.

They both had my curly blonde hair, and they had a beautiful mixture of both of our eyes.

"Hali and Sophia." He said in a proud voice. "You two were definitely worth braking my hand." He said, and gave me a kiss on my fore head.

"Sorry about that." I said sheepishly.

"Don't worry, I'm invincible remember?" He said, giving me a huge smile while he held Hali and Sophia in his arms. He looked happier than I had ever seen him, which made me happy too.

"First family picture!" Thalia squealed excitedly.

"Thalia I'm a mess!" I argued, but Percy interrupted me.

"You look beautiful as ever." He said giving me a kiss. I felt my cheeks go red, but I didn't think anyone noticed since I was red anyway.

Thalia snapped about 20 pictures. She would constantly find an excuse to take another picture because either Hali was crying or Sophia was squirming.

"Okay this is the last one!" She promised. She snapped the picture and looked very pleased with herself.

"Priceless!" She cried. She showed us the picture on the camera screen, and she was right. It was perfect. I was holding Hali and Percy was holding Sophia. I didn't look nearly as tired as I actually was, Percy's hand didn't look deformed and the girls weren't crying or squirming.

"Thalia! It's perfect!" Percy said. "Go get the gift shop to print it off so we can frame it." He suggested.

I was sure he was going to hang it in his office at work, and brag to all his colleagues about the girls. And possibly about how I broke his hand.
