Annabeth POV:
"Are you recording?" I asked Percy. He was holding our video camera, and I didn't see a red light so I figured he wasn't recording.
"Uh wait…" he said, as he hit a button. "Now we are!" He said giving me a big smile.
"Okay. This is Hali and Sophia's first solid foods. And yes, it's blue. Because seaweed brain made me." I said into the camera, giving Percy a cheesy smile.
"I loved blue mashed potatoes and carrots!" He said. "What harm is blue food coloring going to do?" He asked.
"Fine. Okay who wants to go first?" I said, looking at Hali and Sophia. Hali was smacking her hands against her tray, and Sophia seemed to catch on and do the same.
"How about Daddy gets a tripod and we feed them at the same time?" I said, looking at Hali and Sophia, then at Percy.
"Smart thinking." He said, as he grabbed the tripod.
"You don't call me wise girl for just anything!" I reminded him.
"Touché" He said, as he put the camera on the tripod and pulled a chair next to me.
"Is it recording?" I asked. Percy got up and then sat back down.
"It is now!" he said, grabbing a bowl of baby food that I had put blue food coloring in.
"Okay. So I'm feeding Sophia blue mashed potatoes." I said, taking a small spoonful and feeding it to Sophia. She smacked on it a little bit and then she stuck her tongue out.
Hali saw what was happening and gave Percy a very fierce look for a 4 month old baby and opened her mouth wide.
"I love our daughters." Percy said looking at me, as he fed Hali some mashed potatoes.
Hali was sitting there with her mouth wide open waiting for more blue mashed potatoes and Sophia was sticking her tongue out.
"They are quite the little girls aren't they?" I said.
Percy pulled me close to him and gave me a kiss. During this period Sophia had taken Hali's spoon, and she threw the baby spoon full of blue mashed potatoes at Percy, which landed on his shirt.
"What the he-" he said
"Sophia!" I said, being extremely surprised. She and Hali began to giggle, and I couldn't help but giggle along with them.
Percy laughed as he wiped blue mashed potatoes off his shirt.
"Do you need a new shirt?" I asked him.
"Uh, sure." He said as he pulled off his shirt.
I turned around and just took in my ridiculously good looking husband. He was still built like he was 17.
"Something interesting?" He asked, giving me a dazzling smile.
"I, uh-" I said until he interrupted me.
"You were checking me out!" He laughed. I felt my face go red.
"Yes, I was checking my ridiculously good-looking husband out." I said, and I seemed to hear Hali and Sophia start giggling again.
He walked over to me and gave me a kiss. "Don't worry." He said. "I still check you out too." He said, giving me another kiss.
Hali started to bang her little hands against her tray, and Sophia started to cry. I sighed, and handed Percy a shirt, and he pulled Sophia out of her high chair and picked her up. Then Hali started to cry, and Percy got her out to. There was my husband, shirtless, holding Hali and Sophia. Nonetheless it was a pretty funny sight.
"Wait! Let me get the camera and take a picture!" I said quickly grabbing my camera. "We have to send this to your mom!" I squealed.
"Alright, munchkins, smile for grandma!" Percy said. I snapped the picture, and needless to say it was the cutest picture ever.
