Annabeth POV:
I drive back home with Hali in the back seat. Percy and Sophia are at home, and I have a million and one things on my mind. Percy and I definitely hadn't planned for another baby, but then again, we didn't plan Hali and Sophia either.
I pull into the garage, and get Hali out of her car seat. I hold the prenatal vitamins tightly in my hand, and unlock the door. I see Percy and Sophia arguing at the kitchen table.
"Sophia you can't have jelly beans for lunch!" Percy cries, and then he catches a glimpse of me and immediately leaves his seat and gives me a kiss.
"What's the diagnosis for the ill child?" He asked, picking Hali up.
"I have an ear affection!" She shouted in Percy's face.
"Infection." Percy corrected her. He put her down and watched her as she ran to her sister.
I put the vitamins down in clear view on the table. Percy's face went pale.
"What is that?" He asked. "Are those what I think they are?"
"Seven weeks." I whispered, but then I cleared my voice. "I'm seven weeks."
The confused expression left his face and was immediately replaced by a grin from coast to coast.
He picked me up and spun me around. "Oh gods, Annabeth, I love you so much!" He said.
Hali and Sophia ran in the room. "What's going on?" they both asked.
I looked at Percy. "You're both going to be big sisters."

As soon as Hali and Sophia had stopped crying, Percy and I tucked them in and we walked down stairs.
Percy rubbed my back. "Who knew they'd be so upset about giving their playroom to the new baby." He sighed.
"Well, they'll get over it, right?" I asked.
"Of course they will." He said. "They'll be used to the idea by tomorrow morning, you just watch.

"What do you mean you don't believe us?" I asked, looking at Hali and Sophia.
"We want proof." They both said in sync.
"Proof?" Percy said. "What kind of proof?"
"Can you show us the baby?" Hali asked, her little arms crossed. She and Sophia were wearing matching footie pyjamas, and they both had their curly blonde hair in a high pony tail.
"Like in a picture?" Percy asked. "We can get you a picture."
"Yeah, we can call my doctor today and get a picture." I told them.
They held their little noses high. "That will do." They both said, as they totted off to the living room.
"Did you tell your mom?" I asked Percy.
"Called her last night." He said, as he rubbed my back. I walked over to the phone to make an appointment. They said we could come in right away if we wanted to. We agreed, and got the girls ready.
Hali and Sophia were both dressed in matching dresses and tights. Sophia refused to wear her boots because she said it was too warm outside even though there was snow on the ground.
We all loaded in the car and drove off to the doctor's office. When we arrived, the nurses were waiting and we were immediately allowed to go in.
The nurses lead us to a room, and a technician got an ultrasound ready. She put the cold gel on my abdomen, and an image appeared on the screen.
I squeezed Percy's hand. "That's the new baby." He whispered to the girls. Their little eyes widened.
"Is it a boy or girl?" Hali asked the technician. The technician explained that it was too early to see, but Hali seemed satisfied.
After we left the doctor's office, Percy's mother called while we were driving home. I answered Percy's cell phone for him.
"I want to talk to grandma!" Sophia screeched.
"Me too!" Hali cried. Percy handed them the phone and put it on speaker so they could both talk to Sally.
"So do you believe your mommy and daddy now?" Sally asked light heartedly.
"Yeah!" they both shouted.
"The baby even has a TV in there!" Sophia added.
I looked at Percy, and we both just laughed all the way home.
