Annabeth POV:

One morning Percy and I were eating breakfast and the now five year old Hali and Sophia were already at school. I was about 5 months along, and we had already told everyone. I was buttering some toast, and Percy was brewing some coffee when the phone rang.

Percy answered the phone. He listened for a minute, looked like he was trying to hold in his laughter and said in a very serious voice that he would be there soon.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Hali and Sophia's kindergarten teacher." He began. "When the teacher tried to separate them during nap time because they both snore, Hali told the teacher to step off. And apparently before that Sophia stuck some kids head in the toilet and then told the teacher it was alright because she made sure the kid didn't drink any." He said, with a smug grin on his face.

I tried to hold in my laughter. "Again?" I asked.

"Yes, but this time we have to have a conference with the principal and their teacher." He said.

"A conference for kindergarteners? Is that even possible?" I asked.

"Apparently so, because they're both sitting in the principal's office right now." He said, grabbing his keys.

I grabbed both of our coats, and we headed to the car to pick the girls up. We drove to their elementary school and found our way to the principal's office.

We saw Hali and Sophia on a bench outside of the principal's office, but they didn't seem to notice us, since they were both coloring in a coloring book. Hali was swinging her legs, and Sophia was drawing a moustache on what looked like a teacher.

We quietly walked past them, hoping they wouldn't notice us, which they didn't. We entered the principal's office, where she and Hali and Sophia's teacher was sitting. And they did not seem happy to see us.

The principal looked up at us. "Are you two Hali and Sophia's parents?" She asked.

Percy shook her hand. "Yes. I'm Percy Jackson and this is my wife, Annabeth Jackson. What exactly is the problem?" He asked.

The principal turned around in her chair to face a filing cabinet, and pulled out two very thick folders.

The principal pointed her finger at the folders and sighed as she opened them. "September 1st, first day of school. Hali Grace and Sophia Grace Jackson's kindergarten teacher was reading chicken little when Sophia said quote 'holy crap a talking chicken'." She began. Percy and I did our best not to laugh.

"September 3rd, a doctor visited Hali Grace and Sophia Grace Jackson's class for career day. Hali took explicitly took the doctors stethoscope whilst he had the ear pieces in and shouted 'Welcome to McDondalds, may I take your order.'" Said the principal.

"September 4th Hali Grace and Sophia Grace Jackson's class were learning the name of tastes and the teacher gave them all lifesavers and told them to guess what they were eating. Hali and Sophia had received honey life savers, and were unable to guess what they were." She told us.

I raised an eyebrow. "So, what's wrong with that?" I asked.

The principal flipped the page and continued reading. "Their teacher suggested that it might be the name their grandmother might call their family members, to which Hali and Sophia started screaming that they we eating 'assholes' because apparently that is what their grandmother calls their father." She said, narrowing her eyes at Percy. "Would you like me to continue?" she asked.

"That's not necessary, but what are you suggesting that we do?" Percy asked.

"We suggest that you quickly find another school for your daughters, and that perhaps the child you are expecting shouldn't come here either!" Their teacher cried out. My hand immediately touched the knife I always carry, and I felt Percy's hand move it.

"We'll be leaving now." Percy said in a stern voice. We left the office and Hali and Sophia were both trying to get their hands into a vending machine.

"C'mon girlies, we're going out for ice cream!" Percy said, trying to get their attention.

They immediately looked up and sprang into their father's arms. We left the school, and Hali asked me if they would have to go back later. I told her she would never have to go back, and she would go to a much more fun school. Sophia over heard and asked whether they would serve ice cream at their new school, and Percy and I laughed as we buckled them up in their car seats.
