Annabeth POV:

"Mommy! Daddy! Mommy!" Hali and Sophia yelled as they ran down the hall and into Percy and mines bedroom at the crack of dawn.

Percy rolled over and picked Hali and Sophia up and set them on the bed. "What is it?" He asked sleepily.

"It's snowing!" Hali shouted

"Outside!" Sophia added.

"Really?" I asked, giving them both a kiss on the forehead as I got out of the bed.

"I swear on the sticky river!" Hali said, with a hand over her heart.

"It's the river sticker, Hali." Sophia rolling her eyes, as if she was correcting her.

"It's actually the river Styx." Percy chuckled. "And you don't need to be swearing upon it."

"Well it's true!" Hali cried, pretending to faint on the bed.

Sophia gasped exaggeratedly. "My sister has fainted because she hasn't gone outside yet!" She declared. "Only snow can heal this!"

Percy looked over at me and mouthed drama queens.

"So you two want to go out and play?" Percy asked.

"YES! Please with cherries on top!" They both cried.

"Well, then go get dressed." I said. The girls gave us both toothy grins and ran off two their bedrooms.

"They have a talent for acting." I chuckled.

"Sure do. Do you want to join us outside?" Percy asked me. I looked at eight month pregnant self.

"How about I go outside, but I take pictures?" I suggested.

"Sounds like a plan." Percy said, kissing me as he left the room to make breakfast.

After getting dressed I walked into the kitchen to find the girls already completely dressed to go out into the snow. They were wearing everything including their mittens and snow goggles.

"Well looks like you two are all set!" I said, passing their breakfast plates down to them.

"I want to have a snowball fight!" Hali announced.

"I call captain!" Sophia called out, raising her spoon from out of her cereal and waving it in the air.

"Alright, just finish your breakfast and we'll go outside." Percy said.

They both took it upon themselves to scarf down their Boo Berries cereal and run out the door, with Percy behind them. I followed them outside and watched them have a snowball fight.

Suddenly, a burst of snow hit Percy in the face, but it was definitely not something the girls had thrown.

"Whoa." We all said in unison. Hali and Sophia looked at each other, closed their eyes, and then another burst of snow hit Percy in the face, but this time Percy deflected it.

"Are they...?" I asked.

Percy got a big smile on his face. "Manipulating the snow with their powers?"

"OUR POWERS WORK IN THE SNOW!" They both screamed on the top of their lungs.

"That is so cool!" Sophia giggled, until Hali sent snow flying in Sophia's face, which made Sophia start crying.

Hali came over and sat with me on the bench for the remainder of the snowball fight as a 'time out' but we all laughed as Sophia pretty much kicked Percy's butt in a snowball fight.
