Annabeth POV:

"Sippppppeeeeeeeeeee" Luke cried as we drove to the airport. With Percy driving, I reached into his diaper bag, and handed him his sippy cup.

"You have to say please!" I told the one year old little boy in his car seat, as I handed him his sippy cup. He just smiled the way Percy does and started to drink.

"Wow, he's just like his father." I laughed, grabbing onto Percy's hand.

"I know, I always used to be jealous of my mom, because I'd never have a kid as cool as her, but now, it's all good. We make really cool kids." He laughed.

"How do you make kids?" Sophia asked.

"Will tell you when you're older." Percy said immediately.

"Oh, okay." Sophia said, seeming fine with the answer.

"Mommy." Hali said. "How long is the flight to Greece?" she asked.

"It's 9 hours and 30 minutes." I told her.

"9 hours?" Sophia yelped. "I don't want to take a plane!" she cried.

"You and me both, Soph." Percy snorted.

I pinched Percy's arm. "Zeus gave us special permission to fly. Shut it." I told him.

We pulled into the airport parking lot, and unloaded everyone's suitcases.

"Mine is the one with the pink mermaid on it!" Hali yelled. "And it says Hali on it too!"

As a joke, Percy handed Hali Sophia's purple suitcase with Sophia written on it. I picked up Luke, just in case she got mad.

Hali looked at Percy. "What the hell is this?" She asked. I held in my laughter, and Luke seemed to sense the funniness of the situation also.

"Hali, you can't say hell; that's a swear word." Percy said, pulling out another suit case.

"Oh okay." She shrugged.

"Can we say damn then?" Sophia asked, reaching for Hali's bag; then for hers.

Percy and I both sighed. "No you cannot. No words like that. Any of them."

"Any of what?" Nico asked, suddenly appearing next to us, holding hands with Thalia.

"Swear words like hell and damn." Hali and Sophia both said.

"Girls!" I said, but I couldn't help laughing.

"Come give Auntie Thalia a hug!" Thalia said, opening her arms out as to hug the girls. They gave her a hug, and then gave Nico a hug.

"Why hello princesses!" Nico greeted them. Then he turned to Luke. "Hey little man!" He said, as he picked him up, making Luke giggle.

"Lukey!" Thalia cooed over him. "You're getting bigger every time I see you!" she said in her infamous 'baby voice'

"That's what she said!" Nico said, also in a baby voice; causing Thalia to shock him.

"Hey, easy with that stuff." He said, rubbing his arm.

Percy closed the trunk. "Okay, are we all ready to go inside and get checked in?" He asked.

"I think we are." I said, taking a hold of his hand.

We all walked the ticket counter, Thalia and Nico going first. When the were finished it was our turn.

Percy handed the person behind the counter our tickets. "The Jackson's, Percy, Annabeth, Hali, Sophia, and Luke?" the person asked as she read the itinerary.

"That's correct." Percy said. "Annabeth's my wife, and Hali, Sophia, and Luke are our children." He said, handing her our passports.

"Alright. Let's just check your bags, and I'll print out your boarding passes." the woman said.

We checked in our bags, and then she handed us back our passports along with our boarding passes.

"Just go through security and then head to your gate, d36. Have a nice flight." The woman said.

"Thank you!" I told her, as we joined Thalia and Nico and headed towards security.

"You guys all ready to go through security?" I asked the kids.

"What are they going to do to us there?" Sophia asked.

"They make sure you don't have anything dangerous on the plane." Thalia said.

"Like Daddy's sword and your dagger?" Hali asked.

"Yes. Exactly like that. Just don't say anything about that because the mortal's can't see what they are anyway." I whispered back to her.

"Okey Dokey." Hali and Sophia both said.

We walked up to the security line, where we had to take off our shoes & jackets, and put our carry-on's through the x-ray machine thing.

"Percy, why don't you go through the scanner first with Luke, that way the girls will know where to go and I'll follow behind them." I told Percy, as I handed him Luke.

"Hey little man!" He said, as he gave Luke a kiss on the cheek. Luke just smiled. He wasn't a baby who talked very much, thank the gods, unlike Hali and Sophia.

He walked through the scanner, and then put Luke back in his stroller.

I looked over at Hali and Sophia. "Girls, walk through that scanner over to where Daddy is, alright?" I told them.

"Can they see my bones through there?" Hali asked, her eyes wide.

"Uh, yes. So go through it!" I told her. She grinned and then pranced through the scanner, Sophia following.

I walked through the scanner after them, and then picked up my carry-on bag and handed Hali and Sophia there's.

I gave both of the girls a hand, then let Sophia hold Percy's hand as he pushed Luke's stroller.

"Thalia and Nico are already at the gate, their saving us a seat." Percy told me. "We have another hour until our flight, do you think they want something to eat?" he asked.

I looked at the girls. "Do you two want a little snack?" I asked.

"Yes! Yes! Yeeeeeeeeeeees!" Hali sang in her infamous 'opera style.'

I looked over and saw Percy snort. "Hali, did you know that you get your wonderful voice from your father?" I asked her.

Sophia's eyes got big. "Nuh-uh! Daddy can't sing opera like Hali can!" She giggled.

"Oh, but yes he can. When we were teenagers he used to sing all of the time. It was quite a funny." I said, smiling over at him.

"Uh, Annabeth, that wasn't exactly singing." Percy said with a smug grin.

"Percy!" I said, half embarrassed, half smiling. He raised his hands in surrender.

"D36!" Sophia shouted. "Isn't that our gate?" she asked.

"Look, Thalia and Nico!" Hali shouted as she ran towards them, Sophia in toe.

I walked over near Percy, and laced my fingers in between his as we walked to our gate. Hali and Sophia we animatedly explaining something to Thalia and Nico, and Thalia gave me a look of 'what-do-you-feed-these-kids-?'. I just smiled, and laughed.

"Mommy look Uncle Nico gave us some skittles!" Sophia yelled. She and Hali both had a bag of skittles in their hands, and Hali was dropping hers on the ground and then eating them.

"Hali," Percy began. "Those fell on the floor and have germs on them. Don't you think that's gross?" he asked her.

"Well, not really. You can't even taste the germs." She said, putting another one in her mouth.

Percy managed to talk her into not eating skittles after dropping them on the floor.

There was an announcement that they would be boarding the plane. We stood in line and gave the people our tickets and boarding passes. After that we got on the plane and looked for our seats.

"Alright, Hali, Sophia, you two are sitting in those two chairs, and Mommy, Luke, and I will be sitting in the two seats behind you." Percy told the girls directing them to their seats.

"Why doesn't Luke get his own seat?" Sophia asked. "He's a person too ya know! What about the midgets, dwarfs, and hobbits in the world? Do they not get seats on a plane either?" She shouted, throwing her hands in the air.

"Sophia. Calm down. Luke is too little to need a seat, so he's just going on our laps." Percy said.

"Oh, okay." She said, then she plopped down in her seat and started coloring in her coloring book.

"You should color inside the lines, Hali." Sophia told Hali, who was also coloring.

"Yeah, but it's more fun to color outside them." Hali said, as she drew along the outside of a mermaid.

I looked at Percy and smiled. I mouthed Only Hali at him, and he chuckled.

Thalia and Nico sat in the row behind us, already sleeping. We told the girls to put our seatbelts on, then we put ours on. Luke was on my lap, and he already seemed to be dozing off.

"Welcome aboard our flight to Athens, Greece" A flight attendants voice said over an intercom. "We will be departing in a few minutes!"

"AHH!" Sophia and Hali screamed.

"What is it?" Percy and I both asked.

"It's the voices again!" Sophia whispered. "They keep telling us useless information about seatbelts and plane safety!"

I heard Thalia start to laugh, and Percy and

"Hali, Sophia, those are just people speaking over an intercom." Percy said in between laughs.

"Oh. Okay." Hali and Sophia both said, as they turned around and starte coloring again.

The plane started to take off, and Hali and Sophia had both of their noses pressed against the window.

"Daddy look we're making pig noses!" Sophia said.

"That's cute sweetie, but why exactly are you two doing that?" He asked.

"Because then when people see our pig noses they'll think that pigs are flying!" Hali said. "Isn't it obvious?"

"Of course honey, how could I miss that." Percy said, giving me a smile.

"Mommy…" Sophia said, pointing to Nico and Thalia. "What's wrong with them? They look scared." She said.

Thalia and Nico sat all the way back in their chairs with their eyes wide open. They quite literally looked scared for their lives.

Percy turned around in his seat to talk to Thalia and Nico. "Hey, you two alright? You're scaring the girls." He said, obviously trying not to laugh.

Thalia shocked Percy. "You know I'm afraid of heights." She said.

"I'm a son of Hades." Nico mumbled. "God of the underworld. I do not belong in any type of air craft."

"Mommy, Sophia has to go to the potty, and so do I." Hali told me.

"Alright." I said "The bathroom is that way." I said, pointing them in the right direction.

"Can't you come with us?" Sophia asked.

"Honey, Luke is asleep on my lap, and daddy is asleep too. I don't want to wake them up.

"Fine.." The both mumbled, as they took each others hand and walked to bathroom.

(12 minutes later)

"Percy!" I said, tapping his shoulder trying to get him to wake up.

"Wha?" he said half asleep. He scratched his eyes. "What's wrong?" he said, more awake this time.

"The girls went to the bathroom exactly 12 minutes ago and they still haven't come back. Will you go up to that bathroom and make sure they're alright?" I asked him. "I don't want to wake up Luke." I said, pointing to the sleeping one year old in my arms.

"Yeah, of course." He said, as he got out of his seat and headed towards the bathroom.

"Hey, Annabeth," Thalia said a few minutes later. "Percy's got a flight attendant over there with him; it looks like they're trying to open that door!" Thalia whispered behind me.

"What?" I yelped, waking up Luke, who started to cry. I gave Luke to Thalia, and then headed over near Percy.

"What's going on?" I asked, extremely concerned something was wrong.

"Hali and Sophia are in the bathroom, and they don't know how to get out." Percy said, seeming very stressed out as he ran his hand through his hair.

"It smells like poop in here." A muffled voice said from inside, it obviously being Hali.

"Hali, Sophia, are you alright?" I asked them through the door.

"Mommy! How do you open this door?" Sophia asked, seeming unfazed by the fact that she was locked in an airplane lavatory.

"Listen," the flight attendant said, seeming rather annoyed. "There is a little slidey thing that says unlock. You slide it, then it unlocks."

"Don't take that tone with me, missy!" I heard Hali call from the inside. I noticed Percy had a smug grin on his face, then he mouthed that's my girl at me, which made me giggle.

"Girls, just listen to the nice lady." I said, trying to be cooperative with the only person who might be able to get them out.

"It even says unlock!" the flight attendant said, appearing to be frustrated.

"We're both dyslexic. We can't read. There are too many thingys in here to read! We can't find one that says unlock!" Sophia cried.

The flight attendant thought for a second. "It's in green letters!" the flight attendant said quickly.

Then, the door slid open. "Hi." Hali and Sophia both said. "Sorry about that, nobody told us the bathroom was a death trap." Sophia scoffed.

Then the walked to their seats as if nothing happened.

-line break –

"Mommy look!" Hali shouted. "It's the paragraph on the on-top-of-it!" Hali said pointing to the Parthenon.

"Hali, sweetie, it's the Parthenon on the acropolis." I corrected her. "You were very close though!"

We were standing on the acropolis admiring the Parthenon and other temples. Thalia and Nico weren't far behind us.

"Isn't that grandma's house?" I overheard Sophia ask Percy.

"Yep, it sure is." He replied.

"So then, why is it all messed up? I thought she was the smart goddess. Don't you think she'd be smart enough to get someone to fix it?" She asked.

"You'd think so." Percy chuckled.

"Percy!" I said, giving him the most intimidating look I could. "Watch it."

He just raised his hands in surrender, but I saw him give Sophia a low five. Sophia seemed to be giggling.

"Mmmmaaaaaama!" I heard Luke call from his stroller. He was squirming to get out.

"Lukey!" I said. "Do you want to get out?" I asked him.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" He babbled.

I took him out of his stroller and watched him as he totted around in circles around the stroller.

"Luke, come back here!" I shouted as he ran off in the other direction. I started to run after him, when he started to try to climb on the Parthenon.

"Percy!" I called behind me as I ran after Luke. "Luke!"

Percy instantly was next to me, the girls right behind him. We stopped at the point where construction tape was put to keep people from entering, right where Luke was behind.

"Lukas!" Percy and I both shouted. The one year old turned around, waved, then kept climbing. And before Percy and I could do anything, Hali and Sophia were right behind the tape going after Luke.

They quickly got hold of Luke and Sophia helped Hali carry him back down the stairs to where Percy and I stood.

Percy immediately scooped Luke up in his arms. "Don't you do that again, okay. Grandma doesn't like me very much to begin with." He told Luke softly, then he kissed him on the top of his head, and gave him to me.

"Say thank you to your sisters for saving you!" I told him. He looked over at Hali and Sophia and then waved.

"DO WE GET A PRIZE?" Hali asked with wide eyes.

"You get to know that you saved your brother!" I told her.

"That's not a prize mommy." Sophia said.

"Well what do you call a prize?" Percy asked her.

"A cell phone." Hali and Sophia both said.

"How about an ice cream?" I suggested. They both shrugged like it sounded good enough.

I set Luke back in his stroller, when Thalia and Nico came running up.

"Someone's kid was climbing the Parthenon! What a badass!" Nico said.

"That was Mr. Adventure man over here." Percy said pointing to Luke, who was being pushed around in his stroller by Sophia while Hali had our camcorder and was narrating everything Luke would've been saying in a six year old girls mind.

"And that's why he's related to me." Nico said. "Badasses must run in the family."

"There's also a dumbasses. Do you think that runs in the family?" Thalia asked Nico.

"Uncle Nico sweared!" Sophia said extremely loudly while she pointed at him, causing everyone around us to hear her.

Thalia shocked Nico, causing him to jump about ten feet in the air.
