Annabeth POV:

We picked up the girls early from school since they had had a pep rally. Luke was at camp this week because he had accidentally almost drowned someone in his class that he didn't like very much.

Hali and Sophia ran up to the car. Hali was still wearing her blue white and grey cheerleading uniform along with her cheerleading jacket, and Sophia was wearing jeans, a top and her swim team jacket.

We were all going to my first doctors appointment, girls included since they absolutely demanded on coming.

"Mom, Dad, Danielle Bush totally did a back tuck into Chastity Evans during the pep rally today." Hali told me, laughing.

"And, I caught it on tape!" Sophia giggled, taking out her cell phone and showing me the video.

Percy leaned over from his steering wheel to watch since we were at a red light.

"Oh, that's gotta hurt." I cringed, watching the video.

"Gods, and they kept going!" Percy said, surprised, as the video ended.

"We're hardcore." Hali said, in a deep voice, as she flexed her arms.

"Mom, I was in the bathroom, and some lady like lectured me on being to young to be in here." Hali said, as she sat down next Sophia, Percy, and I.

Sophia started laughing hysterically. "It's not funny! I just got like yelled at!" Hali giggled. Percy just looked at me and chuckled.

"Mom, what if it turns out to be like 5 little people in their?" Hali asked, her eyes getting wide.

"Oh my gods, don't say that." Percy said, looking at Hali.

"Oh c'mon dad! You'd love to have a bunch of little kids running around the house, right?" Sophia laughed.

"Sure, I'd just be worried that they'd turn out like you two." He laughed.

"Jackson, Annabeth?" A nurse called out.

"Oh, that's us!" I told the girls and Percy. "Let's go."

The nurse lead us to an exam room and another technician got me ready for an ultrasound.

"Alright, let's get started!" The ultrasound tech said.

We all watched the screen and talked for a while until Hali nearly screamed.

"Oh my gods, Mom, why does the baby have a giant lump on its head?" She yelped.

The technician looked the screen closely, moved the image around some and then chuckled.

"That's not a lump, that's another baby!" The technician laughed.

"You're kidding, right?" Percy asked. "This is someone else video or something, isn't it?"

"No, I'm completely serious." The technician laughed. "See right there is the head of the first one," She said, pointing to the screen, "And there's the head of the second one!" She smiled.

"How does that happen twice?" I half cried, half laughed.

"Well, ask your husband. He's the one responsible." The technician chuckled.

"Ew!" Hali said. "TMI!"

"Can you see if they're identical yet?" Percy asked. "I don't think that's like even medically possible, right?" Percy asked.

I was with Percy for a second, but then I remembered I was half god, so all regular medical laws were thrown out the window.

"Um," The technician said, looking on the ultrasound. "Oh…" She said getting soft.

"What's wrong?" Percy asked. "Is there something wrong?"

"Oh, no there's nothing wrong, it's just…" The technician said, looking at the screen very hard. "I think I see three." She said.

"Wait, three?" Percy asked, his voice cracking.

"Hold on, I'm going to ask my colleague to come in." She said, pressing a button on her phone. A minute or two another nurse with a technician came in.

"That's definitely triplets." One chuckled.

"How is that even possible?" Percy and I both asked.

"What's the gender of them?" Hali and Sophia asked.

"Let's look and see." The nurse said. She watched the screen for a while. "Alright, I see two girls and a boy. The girls are identical, by the way."

"Oh my gods." I cried. "That's crazy!"

Percy squeezed my hand. "Hey, I'm excited now." He smiled.

"Oh my gods. Three. Three." Hali breathed. "That's like a lot of babies."

"Hali, are you okay?" Percy and I asked her.

"Yeah, that's just A LOT of babies!" She said, starting to cry.

"Hali, don't cry!" Sophia said hugging her.

"Sweetie, why are you crying?" Percy and I asked her.

"I'm just worried!" She laughed, wiping her eyes. "It's going to be really different with a bunch of babies running around." She giggled. "I'm really happy though. As long as I can name one!" She smiled.

"There's three?" Luke asked calmly.

"Yep." Hali said, looking at him. "Two girls and a boy."

"A boy?" He asked.

"Yes, one boy." I laughed.

"Oh. Cool I guess." He said, as he walked up towards his room.

"Staples. That was easy." Hali laughed, looking at Sophia.

"Paperclip. That was hard." Sophia said, without missing a beat.

"What?" Percy and I laughed, having no clue what they were talking about.

"Oh, it was a dream we had last night." Sophia said, still laughing with Hali.

"You dream the same things?" I asked them.

Percy looked at me. "Don't bother asking, Annabeth."
