Annabeth POV:

I woke up to Percy tapping my shoulder. I looked out the window, seeing that it was still completely dark out side, and when I looked at the clock, it said 5:03 am.

"Whateryoudowang?" I mumbled, still almost completely asleep.

"It's the girls' 16th birthday." He whispered. "I thought I'd wake them up early as to get an early start. C'mon get up!" He chuckled, pulling me out of bed.

"Alright, I'm coming. Getting up is hard when you're five months pregnant with triplets!" I yawned.

"Where'd you park the new car?" I asked him.

"Outside." He smiled mischievously.

"Obviously, seaweed brain." I snorted.

Percy took my hand and we walked up the stairs into the girls' bedroom. The head boards of their beds faced each other, separated by a two sided dresser. The walls were painted a light purple and blue.

Sophia's side wasn't very messy. Her desk was clean, and their weren't any clothes on the ground. She was sleeping completely balled up under a mountain of blankets

Hali's side was the exact opposite. Clothes, shoes, and bags were strewn everywhere a pictures littered the area above her desk. She was sleeping with her face in her pillow, on her stomach, blankets kicked off the bed, and one of her legs hanging off the bed.

"She sleeps the way you do." I said, pointing at Hali.

"She does!" Percy chuckled. He stepped into the room and whispered "Good morning girls!"

The girls only stirred in their sleep. "Good morning!" I said, a little bit louder than Percy. Still nothing.

I noticed that Hali was clutching her cell phone and Sophia's lay on her nightstand. I nodded for Percy to take Sophia's phone.

I walked over to Hali, and tried taking the phone from Hali's ninja grip, but with no luck. Percy walked over, Sophia's phone in hand.

"Hali! Sophia!" I said, trying to see if they were still asleep.

Percy took Sophia's phone and called Hali. Her phone made a soft wind chime sound, and Hali sat up, rubbed her eyes and looked at the screen.

"Hello?" She said groggily.

Percy hung up the phone, and looked at me like he was a genius. Percy and I both laughed.

Hali's head whipped to where we were standing and she screamed like we had scared her.

"What the fu—Mom? Dad?" Sophia asked, now also awake.

"Happy Birthday!" Percy & I both said.

Hali knitted her eyebrows, like she was confused, but then she smiled.

"It's our birthday Sophia!" Hali said, starting to giggle hysterically.

"I know!" Sophia said, giggling half asleep herself.

"C'mon, I baked a blue cake!" Percy said.

All three of us raised an eyebrow at Percy.

"Okay, I bought it!" He said. "But I had it specially made, so get downstairs!" He said.

The four of us went down stairs, and walked into the kitchen where Percy had set a large blue cake with an owl on it. The was something written on it, but it was in Greek. It said "Χρόνια δέκατα έκτα γενέθλια Χαλί και Σοφία! Παρακαλώ μην συνολικό νέο αυτοκίνητό σας". Which was Greek for "Happy Birthday Hali and Sophia! Please don't total your new car."

Hali and Sophia read the cake, then sprinted outside. This usually wouldn't be a problem, except it was January 6th, and there was snow outside. And Hali and Sophia were both only wearing shorts and long sleeve t-shirts without any shoes or socks, but they didn't seem to notice.

Sophia screamed on the top of her lungs, while Hali cried as they both hugged each other and jumped up and down.

"I LOVE YOU MOMMY AND DADDY!" They both cried, giving us hugs.

"Your welcome girls." Percy chuckled. "You two will be sharing it though, alright?" Percy said, making everything clear.

"That's more than okay!" Hali said. She and Sophia hugged us again, and Percy handed them the keys.

They ran to the car and got in. Hali went and sat in the drivers seat, and her eyes got wide, and Percy started laughing.

"What did you do?" I asked him.

He cleared his throat. "I got them a stick shift." He laughed. "It's good character building."

I looked at him. "You are evil." I laughed.

Hali and Sophia came up to us, looking horror struck.

"Daddy…" Sophia said, putting on her puppy dog face. "Me and Hali don't know how to drive a stick shift!"

"You're going have to learn then!" Percy smiled.

"Let's go inside before you two get sick!" I told them, as we all went inside.

We sat down at the kitchen, and Luke totted into the kitchen.

"Happyburday." He yawned, as he laid his head down on the table.

"Thanks, loogie." Hali laughed.

"Mhmm." He grumbled.

"Luke why don't you go back to your bed. You look tired." Percy said, ruffling Luke's hair.

"Iwansuhcake." Luke's muffled voice said.

"Alrighty." I laughed as we sliced everyone a piece and sang happy birthday to the girls.

-linebreak-

To say that Hali and Sophia invited a lot of people to their sweet sixteen pool party (A/N; Thanks Butterflyforme for the suggestion!) was an understatement.

Percy looked at me, then at the thirty-seven cars parked in the street that each brought around two or three teenagers. "Okay, I know Hali and Sophia said they were inviting their friends, but I don't think the entire cheerleading, football, basketball and swim team was really all that necessary." He said.
