Heellloooo, MR fans! Haha, I was trying to sound like an announcer person. I'm like totally hyper right now so I'm really random. Thanks to all the reviewers. Onto the story.

Kimi POV (I know I know, who?)

Kimi, a.k.a. Subject 675.3, was scared of the teen girl across from her. It had been weeks since Kimi had been deposited in that crate next her. She had said her name was Libra, like the sign thing Kimi had heard about, but that she could call her Lib. Libra scared Kimi, with the way she woke up at night with a huge gasp. The crazy weird look that filled the teen's silver eyes when she first came to. The horrifying snarls the teen could pull off when the bad guys came to get her. When the Eraser came to get Libra, then the girl could kick and punch until they sedated her. It always scared the little five year old part of Kimi when Libra would be fighting one second and on the ground, looking dead, the next. Then Kimi would always cry out and the Erasers would jostle her cage, just to scare her.

Right now, Libra was lying on her back in her crate. Her silver eyes were trained on the top of her crate. Her long auburn hair was sprawled on the ground, by her head. She had been crying a few minutes. Kimi had tried to ask why, but Libra wouldn't tell her. The older girl was usually crying, or planning, or fighting whitecoats. If she wasn't, then she was sitting still, staring out at nothing. It was really creepy. Now she was in "nothing" mode.

"Libra?" Kimi squeaked, brushing away her long silver hair, and hoping to grab the teen's attention.

The girl didn't move or acknowledge the younger's girl call. So, Kimi tried again.

"Libra, is Jeb coming today?"

"I could care less if that jerk comes." Libra huffed, sitting up.

Kimi knew Libra was being nice, she'd heard the "colorful" vocabulary Libra saved for the whitecoats. Kimi didn't know what half of them meant, but she guessed they were very bad.

"What'll we do, Libra?"

"Absolutely nothing. Honey, we can't give them what they want. They want us to fight, to react. We can't though, understand?" Libra explained.

"Yeah, Libra?"

"What, Kim?"

"Will you tell me about outside? What you had before this?" Kimi was curious.

The teen was always muttering about 'fang' and 'iggy' and 'iowa', whatever those were. Kimi was curious about Libra, who had said she wasn't born in the School captivity.

"Well Kimi, sweetie, it's a difficult subject. Sort of "touchy", per se. I've had a lot taken away from me by the bad guys. You have to promise me you'll never repeat this, okay?"

Kimi nodded enthusiastically, she was excited for a break in the silent boring routine.

"Alright," Libra sighed, coming closer to the crate edge, "keep up, it's a long one." she smiled and launched into her story, "I used to live in Iowa, a place far from here. I ran away from home and left my friends and family behind. From there I was caught and brought here. I was thirteen when I was taken."

"Are your Iowa friends Fang and Iggy?" Kimi interrupted, her forest green eyes wide.

"No, don't interrupt, Kim." Libra scolded then continued, "No, Fang and Iggy were very special people I met after I escaped. I escaped about a year after my capturem but the whitecoats had already messed me up. I flew blindly after I escaped, trying to shake some Erasers that had followed me." she grimaced, "I lost them in a really big canyon. Then, I met Fang. He was amazing, an avian hybrid. Meaning, " she explained, seeing Kimi's confusion, " he had wings, like a bird. He was tall and thin, with dark long wings on his back. He almost never smiled, until he met me." she blushed, "He had a family of other bird kids. That's where Iggy came from, he was a brother to Fang. He was like my friend, from Iowa, Laron. Real sarcastic and funny. There was also Max, Angel, Nudge, and Gazzy. The rest of their family."

Libra paused, allowing Kimi a second to speak.

"Why do you say 'was'?" Kimi whispered.

"Well, recently, Jeb told me it was all a dream. That I've never been away from the School. That there was no Fang or Iggy. No flock, no life." Libra answered, her voice soft.

"Oh. I'm sorry, Lib." Kimi squeaked.

"It's fine, Kim. Glad you're interested. Why don't you get some sleep." Libra whispered.

"Okay, night Libra."

"Night, Kimi."

Kimi curled up the cold cage floor and attempted to sleep.

Sorry for the short chapter, I had a time limit and my hyper-ness was causing me to make mistakes. Note to self: Don't try to type when hyper, as fun as that might sound. Anyway, review as always. Only a couple more chapters and then this is DONE! Yay! BYE!
