Running into a wall hurts, being tossed into one?You don't wanna try it, trust me. I woke up and the first thing I noticed was that I felt like the time that Felix tried to mattress surf down the stairs, forgetting the I was walking down them at that moment, but that's another story.

I groaned as I pried open my eyes and found myself almost nose to nose with Bast, her large, yellow cat eyes staring at me.

Not the nicest awakening.

"Carter! You're awake!" Bast stepped back and then Jaz appeared in front of me."How are you feeling Carter?"

I sighed, that meant I was in the infirmary, "Fine, Jaz." I thought back trying to remember how I had ended up here.

Sadie, nightmares, glowing cocoon, my stomach dropped "Sadie! Is Sadie okay?"

Jaz smiled hesitantly, "Well she has stopped glowing and now appears to be sleeping, so I guess she's okay for now."

I sighed and sat up, my back protested slightly but other than that I felt pretty good and continued all the way up till I was standing. Glancing around, I confirmed that I was indeed in the infirmary and saw that the bed next to me occupied by Sadie, who actually did look like she was , who was sitting in the corner, opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by the sound of our front door opening. The four of us froze before creeping towards the door. A single person stood in the doorway.

"Hello?" the person called out tentatively and for the second time in five minutes my stomach dropped, though this time I smiled before I mentally reprimanded myself, hadn't I promised myself I wouldn't do this just a few hours ago.

"Hey!" Jaz smiled and stepped out, "didn't know you were coming!"

"Yeah," I smiled, "We weren't expecting you." I shifted nervously.

Black eyebrows drew together in confusion and concern over gold eyes, "Is everything okay?"

We exchanged glances and I sighed yet again, "No.""What's wrong?"

Jaz frowned, "I have no idea, Zia, I think we need some help."

Zia looked at the four of us, "Well, what can I do?"

Yeah, so it wasn't my longest, but what do ya think? Up to standards? Please say yes! Tell me in a review!
