Oxana made her way up to her room ad found a mess and Bartok flying around.

Oxana: Bartok! What have you been done to my room?

Bartok: Oh! Well, I was trying to make it a bit more comfy and I started to trip and-

As he said that, he bumped into a small gold and green music box and it fell off Oxanas' wooden dresser. Oxana quickly ran over to catch it.

Oxana: Bartok! Be very careful with that! It was a gift from my mother.

Barok: Ok! Right! No more touching!

Oxana put the music box back on the dresser and picked up Bartok. She put him down on her maroon bed sheets on her canopy bed. She looked over at Bartok and smiled.

Oxana: Wanna make yourself comfy? Then lie down here.

Oxana heard her mother come up and she quickly tidied up her room.\

Oxana: Bartok! Hide under the covers. Mama will be mad if she sees you!

Bartok immediately did what she said when Anya came in.

Anya: Oxana don't you want to come down and- Oh!

Anya saw the mess her daughters room was and smiled at her daughter. She didn't get mad when she saw this considering Oxana was only four, she was able to let it slide.

Anya: Oxana, you are probably the only child on this planet who can make this much of a mess in such little time and so quietly. Why don't you come on down.

Oxana: Are you done kissing?

Anya laughed at her.

Anya: Yes we are.

Oxana: Promise?

Anya: Promise.

Oxana walked down stairs to see her father talking with her uncle Vlad.

Vlad: I'm here for five minute and you don't even give your uncle Vlad a hug.

Oxana ran over to give her uncle a hug.

Vlad: Thank you.

Oxana turned to her mother.

Oxana: Mama? May we decorate the tree now.

Anya: in a minute.

Just then the doorbell rang and Anya went to answer it. It was their neighbors daughter Augustine. Augustine had light blue eyes and long blonde hair and she was wearing a dark blue velvet dress. Oxana had always hated Augustine ever before she was one. Augustine was know eight and loved to play with Oxana. Oxana hated that when Augustine would play with her she would dress her up like a doll and put her mothers makeup on poor Oxanas' face. One time she covered Oxanas' face in so much make up, it took almost an hour of scrubbing to get it all off. And she always made Oxana wear frilly dresses and hat. Augustine thought they mad her look adorable and like a large doll, while Oxana thought they made her look stupid and weird. Augustine would always take Oxana to Paris, dressed up all frilly, with her when she and her parents went, although, it made her look like the center of attention which Oxana hated. Anya hated to make her daughter play with her, but she says that it would be rude to refuse play dates.

Anya: Hello Augustine.

Augustine: Hello Miss Anya. Can Oxana come over.

That was the other thing Oxana hated about Augustine. She was so kind to her elders but so rude to her friends. One time she took Oxanas' necklace that had said 'Together in Paris' and wouldn't give it back. Luckily that necklace meant so much to Oxana, she knew how to easily take it away from her so sneakily. Even though Oxana was younger, she had had inherited her parents mischievous ways which made it easy to get it back.

Oxana ran over to her mother.

Oxana: Mama! No! I thought we were going to decorate the tree.

Augustine: Oh! Well once you are done with that you must come over.

Oxana: Well, I'd love to but-

Augustine: Nonsense! You must come over! The minute you're done! Promise?

Oxana: Well-

Augustine: Great! See you then! Oh! And do remember to bring Ovdotia.

And with that, she ran back next door.

Ovdotia was Oxanas' favorite doll. She had blonde hair and brown eyes and wore a light yellow lace rimmed dress and a large had with pinkish yellow flowers in it and she carried a large Teddy bear. Oxana had stopped taking Ovdotia to Augustine's' since one time Augustine almost dropped her.

Oxana: Do I have to go?

Anya: Well she did invite you. And it is the polite thing to do.

Oxana: Well, do I have to bring Ovdotia.

Anya: Well no. I won't make you do that.

Oxana: Thank you Mama.

After that, they decorated the tree and oxana made her way over to Augustines' house. When the door opened, she saw Sevastian waiting there. He was two years older than Oxana and he was like a big brother to her.

Oxana: Hi Sev.

Sevastian: Hey Oxana. What are you doing here?

Oxana giggled.

Oxana: Take one guess.

Both: Augustine.

They both started to laugh.

Oxana: Oh! Later today you must come over! I have just met the cutest thing ever. He's a bat.

Sevastian looked at her surprised. Oxana hated bats. She knew she would never call one cute.

Sevastian: Since when do you like bats?

Oxana: Since I met Bartok. That's his name. Bartok.

Sevastian led her into the living room.

Sevastian: Shall I inform the princess you are here.

Oxana: Please don't.

They both started to laugh. They would always call her princess. Even though Augustine wasn't royalty, she always acted like she was. And every time she did, Oxana and Sevastian would add more jokes to the list of why she was so awful.
