A couple hours later, Oxana, wearing cream tights, an half sleeved cream colored dress, cream colored shoes, and a fluffy cream colored shoes, walked into the car and sat in between her parents (the car had a chauffer). The truth was, Oxana did like wearing fancy dresses, as long as they weren't to itchy or puffy.
Anya: Are you excited to go see the ballet.
Oxana: Yes, Mama. Are we going to go to Great-Grandmamas after.
Anya: Maybe.
Oxana: Mama, it's a yes or a no ques-quest-quiz
Anya: Question.
Oxana: Question.
Anya: We'll see what she says at the ballet.
Oxana: Yes, Mama.
About an hour later they arrived at the theatre, and went up to the royal box and gave her Aunt Sophie, Uncle Vlad and Great-Grandmamma a hug. She loved it when her Great-Grandmother was with her because they would always go back to her house after the ballet.
Marie: I suppose you heard the good news?
Oxana: Yes, Great-Grandmama. Mama and Papa told me last night.
MEANWHILE
Bartok was scrambling through Oxanas house looking for food.
Bartok: Ah, this is the life. Sitting back. A kitchen all to myself-WOAH!
A cold air swept through the kitchen followed by a ghostly rasp.
The Voice: Hello, Bartok.
Bartok: Who-who's there?
The Voice: You cannot tell?
Bartok: M-m-m-master.
The Voice: YES!
Bartok stood up and crossed his arms.
Bartok: Yeah, I'm through helping you destroy Anastasia.
The Voice: Fine.
Bartok: You can beg all you like, but there is no way I'm- what
The Voice was Rasputin. He was the man who destroyed Oxanas aunts, uncle, and grandparents. He had also tried to kill her mother, although, Anya and Dimitri were able to defeat him. There was no way that he could be able to come beck now, or so they had thought.
Rasputin: I will not ask to kill any of them.
Bartok: You won't?
Rasputin: All I need you to do is to help me get her daughter.
Bartok: Oxana? I don't think that I can do that.
Rasputin was getting angry and Bartok was starting to curl up in a little ball.
Rasputin: WHY NOT?
Bartok: Because she's my friend.
Bartok was now fully in ball.
Rasputin: AND I AM YOUR MASTER!
Bartok: Why her? She's so sweet and kind and smells like flowers. (please do not take that the wrong way).
Rasputin: BECAUSE I WANT MY REVENGE!
Bartok: What about your revenge on Anastasia?
Rasputin: What better revenge than for her to see her only child die?
Bartok: But she's so young.
Rasputin: That's what will make this revenge so delicious!
Bartok: And what if I refuse to help you?
Rasputin: I'll still kill the girl, but I will kill you too.
Bartok: You're air how can you kill either of us?
The wind picked and it spun Bartok around.
Bartok: Ok, ok I get the point.
Bartok was trying to decide what he should do. Should he help the one person who had been so kind to him? Or the one he used to serve hand and foot and get little to no respect for it?
AT THE BALLET
The ballet had just ended. Oxana had stood up and applauded wildly. Afterwards she started to look around at the exiting crowd. She saw Augustine, sitting in a lower part of the theatre, and immediately sat back down hoping she wouldn't catch Augustine's eye. All of the adults in the box were starting to leave the box.
Anya: Oxana? Aren't you coming dear?
Oxana: As soon as Augustine is gone.
Anya held her hand.
Anya: Don't worry dear, she wont be able to.
Oxana: How do you know, Mama?
Anya: We won't let her.
She slowly exited hoping that Augustine wasn't going to wait for her.
A/N: Short chapter, I know. Bit of writers block. But what do you think of the cliffy between Bartok and Rasputin. Bet you'll never guess what he chooses (evil laugh)
