He ran as fast as his legs could carry him. He could feel his heart beat against his ribs violently. His lungs begged for air, but he only ran harder. His shoes sunk into the dirt and mud of the forest floor as he attempted to get as far away as humanly possible.

His breathing was quick and short. He wanted to look over his shoulder, but his mind kept his eyes locked forwards. The trees began to blur as the tears raced down his face. He blinked them away. It wasn't the time to begin to cry.

His foot caught under a root making him lose his balance and topple forwards. His clothes and skin became covered in dirt instantly. He crawled over to a firm tree and pushed his back against it. His body shook with cold tremors. Quick puffs of vapor clouded his vision as he attempted to calm his breathing. He felt as if his entire body was on fire. His legs pulsed along with his heart. His eyes shifted from side to side while he attempted to listen over his breathing.

He looked down at his hands and held them to his chest. The fear of being found took over the cold sensation.

He picked his head up when he heard a sound in the distance. His heart pulsed violently.

He ran.

"Nononononononono….."

Was it them? Had they found him already?

No….

He didn't care, all that mattered was that he got away. That no one would ever find him. No one.

His legs ached and his chest burned. He wasn't about to stop now. He couldn't. Not after he had worked so hard to not be found.

He grit his teeth as he felt himself begin to slow down. He needed to push himself harder. He had to. He couldn't afford to let his body win.

A large fallen tree trunk lay ahead of him. He couldn't go around it.

"Don't go any further!" They were there.

He came to a sudden halt. Two men in armor jumped from the back of the trunk to stand atop it. He swallowed hard.

Another came from behind him.

All three pointed large guns at him and slowly began to surround him.

He fell to his knees and looked up at them. He couldn't help the tears that ran down his face. Nor the smirk of defeat. He knew it was unavoidable. He couldn't run forever. No matter how hard he tried.

"You are to come with us, experiment Ti-27-90." He looked up at the man's masked face. "It's Kurt."

It's short, since it's like, maybe the epilogue? yeah...Uhm, I have this CRAZY idea for this just brewing up in my head...and hopefully I can get it out. I'll try to maybe post again like tomorrow? It'll be longer than this, so yeah. Enjoy! R&R! Thanks.
