Obsessions of a Adolescent Drama Queen

Chapter 1: Mia

It was a typical morning in the town known as Amity Park.

The weather was warm and many people were ready to face another day of school, work, or errands, depending on their age and who they are.

During this time, in a certain house on the west side of the town, a certain family was about to start their day. In this house, a young girl was also in the middle of getting ready for her day as well, a certain student from Casper High who was getting ready.

"Mia darling, are you up yet?..."A mother's voice rang through the house.

All the while in a room upstairs, a teenage girl heard this and rolled her eyes.

"Yes, mother. I'm getting ready..."The girl said, sounding annoyed as she kept applying her makeup.

This girl is Emilia Marie Shaunessy, known by her friends as "Mia".

She is a young teenage girl with reddish brown hair, teal eyes, fair skin who, after she did her daily routine of showering, brushing her teeth, and getting dressed, was now wearing a light green top and matching skirt, along with her favorite pair of shoes.

She then brushed her hair and was now finishing her makeup. Once done, she winked at her reflection.

"Perfect..."She said, smiling.

Once she was finished, she went downstairs to join her family for breakfast.

Mia's family was fairly average. She had a dad, a mom, an older sister who has already left for her early college classes and a younger sister who is currently seated at the table.

Her mother, named Marianne Shaunessy, is a typical stay at housewife. She was a tall woman with long, dark curly brown hair in a blue hairband, blue eyes, and fair skin. She was dressed in a blue top and a matching skirt, and shoes. She was also in the middle of flipping some pancakes.

Her father, named Scott Shaunessy, a red haired man with green eyes and in a business suit. He is a man who worked as a department manager at his insurance company, and he was currently reading the paper.

Her little sister, Gracie, is a hyperactive five year old girl with red hair in a pony tail, overalls and freckles. She is also currently adding too much syrup to her pancakes.

As stated earlier, her older sister, a 20 year old named Deb, had already left for her college classes, which meant that only 4 people were at the table right now.

"Good morning, Mia..."Marianne said, as she served her daughter her breakfast.

"Morning..."Mia said, as she took a bite of the pancakes.

"Sleep well, Sweetie?..."Her father asked, briefly looking away from his paper.

"Yeah, can't complain..."Mia said, while her mother noticed that Gracie was practically drowning her pancakes in syrup.

"Gracie, I think that's enough syrup..."The mother said as she took the bottle away, while her youngest child began to whine.

"Please Mommy! Please mommy! Just a lil more syrup! Please! Please! Please!..."Gracie let out, while her mother frowned.

"I said no. That's too much sugar, especially for so early in the morning..."She said as she kept the syrup away from her.

"I want it! I want it! I want it!..."Gracie whined, while Mia rolled her eyes.

"Children..."She thought, annoyed.

She loves her little sister a lot, but Gracie is the baby of the family and ended up being spoiled by her folks a lot. She also has a bad habit of whining when she doesn't get her way.

Her mother tried to calm her little sister down, her father then got a call on his work cellphone and began talking, all while Mia tried to block out their noise. On the surface, they were a typical, suburban family just like any other.

That was something that Mia did NOT enjoy, to say the least.

"I am the future toast of Broadway, doomed to a family from suburbia..."She muttered, as she tried to block out her family's morning drama by checking her phone.

She saw a text from her steady boyfriend of almost one year, Chet Chamberson.

"Hi baby. I miss u..."Was texted to her.

She smiled as began texting her boyfriend in between her bites.

"Hi, sweetheart. I miss u too..."Mia texted, feeling happy.

She would have continued, but her mother got her attention.

"Mia-sweetie. You better hurry before you're late for school..."Her mother reminded.

"Fine..."Mia said, as she quickly finished her breakfast.

Once done, she grabbed her backpack and lunch, and soon left her house.

After a few minutes

After walking a bit, she made it to the bus stop, where Rebecca was waiting for her.

"Finally, what took you?..."Rebecca asked, sounding impatient.

"Good morning to you too, Rebecca..."Mia said sarcastically.

After the typical morning greetings, the two friends waited for the bus to arrive and began talking about their plans for today.

"So, what's on the agenda for today?..."Mia asked, glancing at her watch.

"The usual. Go to school, try and stay awake during Lancer's totally useless classes, spend lunch time with Dale and Chet, gossip with Paulina and Star, and then get ready for another glorious afternoon for drama club..."Rebecca said, smiling.

Mia smiled.

Yes, they were in the drama club together.

Mia has been in drama club since middle school, and has always dreamed of becoming an actress. She always had a love for theater and drama. Her dream was to become an actress and make it big on Broadway.

A dream that she knows is DESTINED to come true.

"One day..."She thought, as she briefly imagined herself starring on Broadway, performing for millions of adoring fans and the paparazzi trying to take her picture.

That was the life she wanted, and she was determined to make sure that it comes true.

Fame, glamour, fortune, fabulous clothes, having her picture on television and countless magazines, as well as the adoration of millions of adoring fans was what she always dreamed of.

Not to mention getting to work with lots of stars and even hang out with all the hot and good looking male actors was also something she dreamed of...not that they will ever replace her beloved Chet in her heart.

Of course not, she loves him and he loves her. They are soul mates. Still, there was nothing wrong with trying to maintain a good relationship with her future co-workers...no matter how hot and famous they are.

"Oh!~..."Mia whispered, which her friend noticed.

"You were day dreaming about Broadway and hot actors again, weren't you?..."Rebecca asked, smiling knowingly at her.

"Maybe..."Mia said playfully, earning a giggle from her friend.

"Speaking of drama, did you catch Agony County last night?..."She asked, smiling at her.

"Always!..."Rebecca said, smiling widely.

"I still can't believe that Charity still hasn't gotten the guy yet..."She said, sounding frustrated.

"Well, it would end the series if they get together. Besides, the drama and tension between her and that tall, bad boy hottie of hers is so. Oh!~..."Mia said, sighing dreamily.

She loves that soap opera and that dreamy, troubled hottie that Charity is in love with. A hot actor that Mia also sometimes dreams about but in a platonic way, since her heart belongs to her beloved Chet.

"You are still for team DxC?..."Rebecca asked.

"Duh, I am so jealous of Charity. Her man is so hot and misunderstood, but he's so sweet and mysterious... Oh!~..."She said in a dreamy way as she thought about the character, who was also played by a handsome actor.

Her BFF giggled at this.

"Don't let Chet hear you say that, you know how jealous he gets..."Rebecca said in a teasing way.

"Chet knows that he's my one and only. We're secure like that..."Mia said, waving it off.

Soon, the bus came and the two girls boarded and were soon off to school.

Later

At Casper High

Mia and Rebecca soon arrived, relieved that the first bell didn't ring yet.

As always, the nerds were handing over homework to the jocks, Paulina and Star were gossiping while Paulina was also ogling her Danny Phantom shrine, and more students were rushing inside to avoid getting tardies and detention from Mr. Lancer.

The two girls, however, were engrossed in their conversation. They also noticed that a certain someone wasn't here yet.

"I don't see Chet or Dale yet..."Mia said, sounding impatient.

"Those two really do have a bad habit of being late..."Rebecca said, crossing her arms.

Mia sighed.

"I told him to meet up 15 minutes before class and class in in 10 minutes..."She said, annoyed.

"Typical..."She muttered.

Before she could complain anymore, she heard someone rushing inside and running to the lockers.

It was a with black hair, blue eyes and he was wearing a white and red shirt, blue jeans and red sneakers. He is also scrawny, not buff like the jocks or as extravagant as the drama guys are. He also looked like he was trying to beat the clock and avoid a tardie.

It was the school's not-so famous Danny Fenton, Dash's favorite punching bag and one of the least popular guys in school.

A boy who currently tripped due to Dash sticking his foot out, and he and his fellow jocks laughed at him.

"HA! Morning Fenton..."Dash said, laughing in a mean way.

Danny frowned, but said nothing. He just got up, went to his locker where his friends were and tried to get ready for class.

Mia was NOT impressed to say the least.

"What a dork..."She muttered, before she felt an arm around her shoulder.

She saw that it was a tall guy with red hair, teal eyes and braces. He was also wearing a football jacket and a black-striped shirt underneath, along with a pair of jeans and sneakers.

It was her steady boyfriend, Chet Chamberson, who was sending her a flirtatious look on his face.

"Hey Babe..."Chet said, smiling at her.

"Hi, Chet-baby..."Mia said, before kissing him.

Rebecca left them alone, to go flirt with Dale who finally arrived. Mia didn't noticed, as she just focused on Chet, who was grinning at her.

"So...you missed me?..."He asked, sending a flirty grin at her.

"Always..."Mia said, holding onto his arm.

Sure, Chet isn't as dreamy or mysterious as the hot guys she fantasizes from her soap operas, but he's really popular due to being on the football team and he's already driving a cool convertible.

He also treated her like a princess and gave her lots of nice presents, and took her to nice restaurants and places for their dates. His house also had a pool that was great for parties, which made him the perfect high school boyfriend.

Needless to say, they were in love and she was happy with him like any high school sweethearts would be.

"So, baby...we on for a movie after school?..."Chet asked, as she still held onto his arm.

"Sorry Sweetie, but you know that I have drama club after school today. It will have to be a little later today..."Mia said.

Chet frowned, but sighed.

"Fine. I guess that I'll just hang with the guys until you're free..."He said, which Mia smiled.

"Thanks for being so understanding. I really can't wait to see that new romantic drama that's showing. I wanna see it so bad..."She said, excited.

"Or we could watch that new action flick with lots of car chases and explosions..."Chet said, while Mia sent him a look.

"We'll decide when we get there..."She said, though she was sure that she'll be able to convince him to watch HER movie later.

The bell soon rang and the couple soon went to class to avoid getting tadies. As they walked inside and sat down, Danny Fenton, as always, was tardie and got scolded by Lancer yet again.

Mia didn't notice, as she focused on her own life.

She was pretty, had a fairly decent social life, got to look forward to drama after school and after that, she was going on a date with her sweet and loving boyfriend.

As far as she was concern, things were great.

She had no idea of knowing what would transpire later today, though.

The Drama Commences

Mia's mother and her little sister are the same mother and daughter who appeared in What you Want, when Desire granted the child's wish. Her father is also the man who tried to wish for a million dollars, before Danny saved him from Desiree.
