"Wow!" Lunick sighed in amazement as he and Solana boarded the S.S. Anne, the most well-known luxury cruise line in all of Kanto and Hoenn.
This was the start of their honeymoon, where they were embarking on a two-week long Caribbean cruise around the Sevii Islands. They spent months planning on what they were going to do for their honeymoon, switching from a vacation in Alola, relaxing in Hoenn, or even just spending time respiting and not going to work in Fiore, before they finally landed on a luxury cruise in the archipelago. Lunick even suggested they go to Orre for their honeymoon but Solana argued that wasn't much of a vacation for her since that was where she was from and they would be obligated to visit family, which they were supposed to be taking a break from in addition to work. Since they had never been to the Kanto region before and the S.S. Anne was offering a special romantic couple's package this year, they jumped at the opportunity to spend their honeymoon traveling across the island chain consisting of nine large islands and several small islands surrounding them. The Sevii islands were located far south of Kanto mainland and were rarely explored, so it was a prime tourism for visitors like Solana and Lunick from a faraway region like Fiore.
Lunick inhaled deeply as he ran to the upper deck of the cruise liner. "Don't you just love that Caribbean sea breeze, Solana? Isn't it intoxicating?"
Solana rolled her eyes mildly. "Lunick, we've been to Summerland. You know the Caribbean sea breeze."
"Yeah but this is different. This is Nanashima. The Sevii Islands. This is completely different than Fiore."
"Lunick, we haven't even left the mainland yet."
"Yeah but I can already sense it. This is gonna be so awesome!"
"Mai Mai!" His Partner Pokémon agreed, perched on his right shoulder.
Lunick pulled out his itinerary from the seafoam green jacket tied around his waist and looked it over.
"Okay, let's see. Looks like the first thing on our list of to do's is to register for the Tai chi classes they'll be having. Then they'll be serving brunch at 11:00, followed by a couple's massage, then lunch, then -"
"How about we go a little off-script there a moment, Baby?"
Lunick lowered the large, overlapping, map-sized paper and looked at his new wife questioningly.
"Off-script? Who are you and what have you done with Solana?"
"I'm just saying we don't have to have everything so packed together. We're on vacation, Lunick. Don't you wanna leave a little room for some more private moments together?"
As if to punctuate her point, she kissed him first gently on the lips, allowing her hand to linger on the waistband of his board shorts, before inching two fingers inside and tugging slightly and kissing him a little more fiercely.
"Oh, I get it. You want some Lunshine playtime," Lunick said smugly as he wrapped his arms around the small of her back.
"Yes, please. We hardly have time for fun with our caseload at home. We're on our honeymoon. So I wanna do what newlyweds do when they're on their honeymoon."
"And we will. But we also made plans to do other things as a couple. I promise, you'll get some alone time with me today, but for now, we gotta register for our stuff before they're all booked up."
Solana sighed. "Fine."
Lunick squeezed her tightly for a moment, returning the kiss she just gave him while slinking his hands to cup and caress her backside through her pink skirt. His tongue brushed against hers, sending a shiver up Solana's spine as Lunick pressed his body closer to hers before abruptly pulling away.
"Just a little taste of what you can expect later," he whispered, his forehead gently pressed against hers.
"You're such a tease."
"Isn't that what you love about me? Now," he let her go and flexed the itinerary back opened. "If we hurry we can register for those Tai chi classes and the carousel and make it back in time for breakfast."
Solana watched him walk off ahead of her, not paying attention to where he was going and ultimately fall into one of the many Solarium pools on the ship.
Solana and Plusle shook their heads and covered their faces as Lunick and Minun swam to the top of the pool, coughing and spitting up water.
Even as a full grown man, Lunick was still…well, Lunick.
