"I don't see how catapulting ourselves through the air without any protection could possibly pose any danger," Derek stated.
"Really," questioned Tripp.
"I think it's perfectly fine, right lads," he asked the two behind him. The two nodded and Derek turned back to the kid saying,"See they agree."
"We are not doing that!"
The three collectively awed at the same time, starting to separate. Before they could move though, the doorbell rang. Derek went over to open the door. Once it opened their stood Bleed once again like that day all those years ago.
"Bleed," they all shouted in outrage that the man had the gull to show up again after all he did.
Before Derek could slam the door closed again, Bleed pushed the door open with a lot more force and grabbed Derek by the waist. He bent Derek down and kissed his lips. Derek was too stunned to resist and the others were just as shocked. When he lifted Derek back the brunette pushed him back.
"Why'd you do that," he asked, wiping his mouth.
"I can't live on without you. I tried a little too hard last time, I want to try and repair what we had in the right way," Bleed explained with his real voice.
"What do you mean," the Brit asked.
"Last time I only tried to replace Trip so I could get close to you again. I rushed it and did it the wrong way. I've thought about it and regretted what I did all these years. I want to do it the right way."
"You were just trying for me last time," Derek said incredulously.
"I'm ashamed to say I was."
Derek looked back at the guys with surprise and a hint of a smirk. He looked back at Bleed and stated with a serious face,"I can't trust you anymore."
"I know and I'm extremely sorry, but I want to slowly get closer."
"What is going on here!? What do you mean by getting him back," Tripp yelled, very confused.
Everyone looked at Tripp, Derek looked down not knowing how to explain the situation. Eventually Burger answered for them explaining,"They used to date."
"What!"
Derek looked up, adding,"It was a little after he joined the band."
"Wait Derek, you like guys? I thought you liked women."
"I do. I'm bi."
"Oh." He was shocked,but just a little more curious then shocked. "What happened? Why'd you guys break up?"
"Well I ended it cause~"
"I was being a little bit of a jerk. Derek rightfully broke it off with me. I've grown through time since then."
"You shouldn't blame us for not believing you after you betrayed us twice," Burger stated.
"Yes, I know. I got vengeful towards Derek after he broke up with me, but growing up, I found out I behaved childishly. I made sure to change that. I won't do anything deceitful anymore. I promise."
"Wait, you stole our money to try and get back at me?"
"Yes."
"So I was the one that caused all that?"
"You have such tremendous power," declared Bleed.
Trip could see the blush on Derek's cheeks as he looked back at the group with a smile. Derek saw the astonished faces, especially Tripp's, he coughed and looked away. He then suggested towards Bleed, "Why don't we just wait for now. I don't know if I can completely trust you again. We'll see after that."
"I can wait. You will, trust me. I will prove it to you," Bleed stated.
Derek smiled while looking at Bleed, then his face turned down once it started turning red. Burger and Tripp just looked at each other and then looked back. They then turned when they heard Ash speak.
All Ash said was, "Bleed changed!?"
Everyone in the room just started looking around at different things with the awkward atmosphere.
"Well I should get going, I have a place to stay these days so I'll just go there so as to not intrude. I'll be back tomorrow though." Bleed slid his hand down Derek's arm and then waved goodbye to everyone before taking his exit.
Once the door shut and he was off, Tripp asked, "Are you really giving him a chance?"
"Not right now no. I just want to see if he's changed, you know. Since I was the cause, I might as well try to make everything alright."
"You're just doing this because it makes you feel good that you have so much power over him!'
"What? No! While that does make me feel good," Derek smiled before continuing,"I actually did like him back in the day. Now that I think about it, I may have just thought too much and broke it off. I kind of want to make it up to him."
The three just stared at Derek in silence for many seconds before Tripp pointed out,"You usually aren't like this? What's different?"
"I don't have too many important people out there. Might as well try and keep the ones I got," Derek laughed before turning to go into the kitchen.
The three left in the room just turned to each other and all used one word to describe the situation, "Weird."
