Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Halo. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I do not own Halo and such, 343, and a few others do.

Life on the battlefields of the Covenant human war was fascinating. An idea that had since seemed to act more and more unsure with those who had since become irrelevant within the ways of their naval forces. There was a lot more options.

Those who had since become ground officers had been awkwardly thrown to the side… It had become harder and harder to know those who simply wanted more and more battles and those who had positions on the battlefield when it came down to it.

One of the Sangheili stood next to a platform with another Sangheili, watching as a pair of Phantoms slowly landed towards the spaceport. The officer was not of those who had been naval officers.

He had acted according to his station, along with being an officer. He had been tired, exhausted, and he had run low on soldiers… An idea that needed to be done with such an ideal, such a thing eroded his mind.

He paused, thinking for a second as the Sangheili overlooked their ground forces… He was to lead another attack upon the human base and yet? He was unsure, thrown off by the lack of intelligence and the fact his superiors would perhaps throw it all out of his reach.

This Sangheili was known as Zeg 'Chavamee, soldier of the Covenant and there were more soldiers before now.

He paused to relax, more and more, unsure and understanding as of now as he would need to be relaxed for now. He cracked his fingers before he yawned and looked downwards before now and hummed.

"Get the rest of the dropships unloaded." He sighed before he rubbed at his temples.

He would seem to crack more and more of a smile, an idea that he would need to be thrown down the road it seemed as he relaxed more and more.

It was a hard little idea that seemed to be building upon more and more at the time being.

Zeg fell silent, utterly thrown off by it would seem to relax more and more at the time being… This would continue to be more and more tiresome at the end of the day for now.

He was not a field officer, simply an idealist soldier, a warrior of the covenant. It felt odd to be a Field Master of the covenant.

(Present time)

Zeg paused to take another few seconds of interest, he paused to finish off a brute whom he had defeated before he looked to the sky. A dozen bright lights showed that such a battle was on the ground before he paused and issued commands.

"Continue to hold them off, the phantoms are almost ready… We are not to keep this position." Zeg paused before holding his sword limply at his side.

There was a pause to keep relaxing for now, Zeg wished to get his mind off the battle and yet he was still reserved in his methods. They had continued to survive the brutes who laid waste to his camp.

Yet? He was too tired to continue commanding his men, there was far too much for even an officer like him to deal with. He paused to take a breath before continuing with the fight he had put himself in such a measure… There was a lot more to try and figure out.

He watched more wreckage, the carcass of a CAR-Class frigate coming downwards to the ground… He paused to look downwards for now.

Zeg wanted answers, there was war everywhere, and as a ground officer? He was better at leading soldiers, not the ships above nor those who would keep fighting.

He paused to let himself for now and looked to the side before he seemed.

"You will be watching more death soon, commander." He heard as he paused.

"Major," Zeg stated before he put his sword to his side and turned it off. "I'm aware of that and I have seen a dozen ships detonated on this ring," Zeg stated before he paused to look downwards.

"Commander? More brutes are coming." Zeg heard before he sighed.

He motioned for the gunners on the few shades he held as he paused to collect his thoughts. He wished to keep growing in ability.

Author Notes

Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out I keep trying to think of the rank of Zeg. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be 900-6500 words. It shows more of Zeg and the rest of his problems before now and will take present after the war. Until then, Lighting Wolf is out!
