Hello, here I am again for a new fanfiction, longer this time, maybe 5 chapters, on Genshin Impact and of course on Scaramouche, Lumine but also the presence of two of my OCs.
I promise, this is the only one where there will be OCs and they are only for this story. Hope you like it! Good reading.
As always, Lumine wakes up early in the morning to her magical teapot which provides accommodation for her and several of her companions, preparing to go on daily quests across Sumeru.
- Hello Lumine! Paimon screams in her ear, she has become Lumine's wake-up call by force. She yawns as she leaves the room.
- Hello Paimon... She answers by rubbing my eyes, she's already breaking her ears so that she can eat, Lumine takes Paimon to the dining room that she herself has made for her guests. There she meets Bennet, Zhongli, Xiao and Nahida.
- Hello Traveler! Hi Nahida with a big smile, everyone greets her as she comes to the table to have breakfast with Paimon. Lumine looks around, strange... There is no Scaramouche.
- Is Scara here? She asks curious, Nahida finishes her cup of tea.
- He's outside, you have to go on a mission today, I asked him to come with you today. She tells Lumine with a wink, recently... When Scara joined her team, their relationship didn't start very well, but Lumine nevertheless offered her a room in her teapot, and since then their relationship has is improved. They've reached level 10 friendship, so they can talk to each other better.
Paimon can't help expressing her displeasure at this news, but Lumine smiles discreetly before hurrying outside. Scaramouche is there, waiting for him, arms crossed under the shade of a tree.
- Is it your habit to keep others waiting? You're at least 30 minutes late. He signals, still with his embittered air.
- We already say "Hello" before addressing someone! And we have the right to take as much time as we want, we are girls, we must be desired! Paimon growls, Lumine rolls her eyes crossing her arms, Scara sighs and takes the lead without a word, further annoying Paimon, Lumine follows him closely to go and do the daily quests, Scara is naturally good at quests concerning the exploration, he is the ideal partner. But Lumine can't help but think that Nahida must have forced him to come to socialize, she gives a small chuckle.
- What's funny ? Scara asks puzzledly.
- No nothing, I found it funny the idea that Nahida subtly tries to socialize you with the inhabitants of Sumeru, when you are as sociable as Alhaitam... Tease Lumine, Scara frowns and readjusts her hat to hide her eyes, blushing with embarrassment.
- You're really stupid, just like her... He grunts as he quickens his pace, Lumine continues to follow him. Chaining the quests, he arrives at the last of the day. A man, a guard near the Nahida shrine asking them for a particular quest.
- Ah, here you are, the first sage of Buer and the Nomad, I was hoping that you would accede to my request today.
- How can we help you sir? Lumine asks, the man displays an unreassuring expression.
- Not long ago, I noticed a Fatui camp not far from our city, it's in the clearing of the big wood. After the incident, the villagers are a little afraid of the Fatui... And those there seem to be up to something. Could you go take a look and report back to me the information of their presence here?
- The Fatui... Scara murmurs.
- No worries, we'll see what they're up to. Answer Lumine.
- Thank you very much, be careful above all. The Fatui look quite shy on this camp. None of us can come close. Concludes the man, Paimon thanks the man like Lumine, and all leave in the direction of the famous woods where the Fatui camp is. Scara watches from afar, levitating a little.
- They are only 5... A nice bunch of imbeciles. He comments on the way down, Lumine nods and slowly steps forward.
- I pass in front, stay close to me. Scara says to him passing in front of her, Lumine emits a sigh, Scara seems forgotten that she has already beaten him, she shrugs and follows him to the camp. Immediately, the Fatuis soldiers are aggressive. They recognize the saviors of Mondstat and want to fight it out, Scara immediately takes the lead by attacking them, Lumine too. The Fatui are beaten fairly quickly.
- Weak and pathetic, it doesn't change even in my absence. Scara growls as she steps on one of them. They are facing a tent from which springs a light, the tent is surrounded by flowers that grow everywhere.
Very slowly they enter the tent, finding only two women, two Fatuis not wearing any masks, a female soldier who suddenly turns towards them, this black-haired servant with very light mauve locks and brown eyes like the trunk of trees, she grabs her gun.
- Who are you ? How dare you enter here? She asks, fixing them with a menacing look, before turning her gaze to Scara.
- YOU... ? Lumine draws her sword as Scara deploys her wind blades, immediately the soldier intercepts them and prepares to counterattack.
- Sura...? Suddenly calls out the second woman, turning her head slightly, a beautiful young girl with very long white/grey hair like the moon with some bluish highlights, dressed in a large pink and green kimono. Very white skin and a fairly thin body, white gloves covering his hands, but blue veins visible on his arms and legs.
The soldier immediately moves away from Lumine and Scaramouche to return to this girl, this girl turning her gaze towards them, livid gray eyes.
- Sura... Who's there ? She asks in a very soft voice.
- Mondstat savior Madam... Uh... I mean Kaguya. You predicted their arrival, remember ? Talk to Sura to that famous girl.
- Hey ! We're here, I'm telling you, can't you see us ? Speaks Paimon, Lumine and Scara remains suspicious, especially Scaramouche who seems disturbed by the presence of this girl.
- That's rude, how dare you talk about Miss like that. Sura growls towards Paimon.
- Come on, it doesn't matter. Calms the girl by stretching her arms towards them; and no unfortunately I cannot see you properly, I have been blind for a short time, I only see three small flames in front of me.
- Huh... You're blind, you can't see anything anymore ? Paimon asks in a sad voice, the girl shakes her head.
- Alas no, but hey... I'm not sad, I don't see the landscapes like before but I can still see my interlocutors through their souls. I've been waiting for you, savior of Mondstat. I wanted to meet you so badly, can you step forward please ? Sura, please make them some tea.
- Well Madam... Hmm Kaguya. Nods the soldier Sura, Lumine and Scara look at each other for a moment, still on their guard, Scara wants to refuse but Paimon is already approaching Kaguya, Lumine emits a sigh and goes to join Paimon, Scara stays behind. Kaguya manages to touch Paimon, touching her white hair.
- Your hair is so soft, I feel you are wearing a pretty crown, soft clothes and a little cape, you are so cute. Describes Kaguya correctly with a smile.
Paimon blushes with a sneer at the compliment, Sura comes to serve Lumine tea, Paimon and even gives a cup to Scara who stays in her corner, Lumine always stays on her guard, a nice Fatui, it's hard to believe, even if she has the experience with Tartaglia, this one tried to hurt him just to have the pleasure of fighting. What about that blind girl ? She notices the blue veins on Kaguya's arms, but also Sumeru's divine eye : Dendro.
- What happened to your arms ? Lumine asks intrigued, Kaguya looks confused.
- Hum... I don't remember unfortunately, I would like so much to be able to explain it but... My memory often fails me. Kaguya answers, Sura comes to sit beside her.
- We are here to find out what you are doing here and what are your plans ? Said Lumine not wanting to waste time, Kaguya sketches a smile, she allows herself to take Lumine's hand.
- Oh... I scared the inhabitants of Sumeru, didn't I ? She asks with a small voice and lowering her head; I'm sincerely sorry, that was not my intention. I have heard of what Dottore has done to this region, and I assure you that I am not under his orders. No, I came for two things. The first is that I wanted to meet you... Lumine. Lumine's eyes widen in shock, Kaguya knew her name was Lumine without her having to tell him.
- How do you know my name ? Lumine asks her even more suspiciously, Kaguya plays with a lock of her blond hair.

- So you have a gift of clairvoyance ? Like Mona ? Paimon shouts, Kaguya sketches a smile before emitting a small laugh.
- In a way... Or maybe I'm just weird, I have a hard time qualifying myself otherwise. This gift is a problem for me, it makes me lose part of my memory every time, I could have done without it.
Scara lets out a sigh of annoyance and decides to go wait outside, a headache suddenly appears, he sits down and waits.
- "…Scaramouche ! He thinks he hears in his head, he shakes his head to get that voice out of his head, he doesn't realize that Sura has followed him and walks towards him.
In the tent, Lumine and Kaguya talk to each other, Paimon her, comes out of the tent and sees Sura approaching Scara, she goes to hide to spy, ready to fetch Lumine if needed.
- You ! Calls Sura in front of Scara who turns her gaze towards this servant without a mask; I don't know why but I know you and I also know that you must have known Miss Kaguya. Have you been a Fatui ? She asks, Scara frowns at this question, he had however erased his existence through the Irmensul tree, no one was to remember him anymore, but only himself... Why is this servant asking her this ? kind of question ?
- I don't know your blind lady, and advice. A Fatui must never walk around with her face uncovered as you do, you risk being shot at the slightest opportunity...
- Miss Kaguya is looking for someone. She is looking for the former No. 6 of the Fatui Harbinger, whose place she recently took... Obviously, you do not seem to have any important information about this former Executors, we will break camp tomorrow, you can reassure the villagers, and Mademoiselle will not speak of anything to the Fatuis, have no fear. Sura glances back one last time, a scornful eye, she thinks.
- " You didn't even recognize me... Lord Scaramouche." Sura enters the tent and discovers Kaguya putting a flower crown on Lumine's blonde hair who is joking with her.
- I'm sure you look beautiful with those flowers on you. And I sincerely hope that you find your brother, but I do hope that you will make him pay for this horrible betrayal, not unkindly but not forgiving too quickly, but I can assure you that your brother is fine. I even give you my word that you will find him. Kaguya assures her with a sincere smile, Lumine doesn't understand why, but towards this girl who is a Fatui, she feels good, reassured, listened to. Not stalked or deceived.
- I'll arrest him and he and I will go home. I also hope that you will find this one that you loved. Lumine responds by intertwining her hands with Kaguya's, the two press their foreheads together.
- I'm so happy to be able to consider you as one of my Lumine friends, I hope to cross your path again soon, I won't fail to send you more information about your brother if I have any news. Kaguya promises him, Lumine gets up. It's time for her to go and conclude the soldier's quest. She thanks Kaguya for all the information she told her and leaves with Paimon, Scaramouche waiting for them outside. Kaguya greets them as they head back towards Nahida's shrine.
- Sura... Did you get the information I wanted ? Kaguya suddenly asks Sura, the latter lowers her head, being hesitant to answer him.
- He's alive Kaguya, and he was with the savior of Mondstat... But he seems to have forgotten everything about your existence, as you predicted.
- I see... If you tell me, it must be true. She says in a sad tone, her lips quiver and tears fall from her eyes.
- This vision... I passed it on to you, didn't I? She asks Sura, she allows herself to come and hug Kaguya.
- Yes Madam... You had predicted his betrayal towards the Fatui, but as well as his disappearance from your memory and that of the world through the tree of Sumeru. So you sent it to me so that I would be the only one who could remember it, for the day when you would like to find it. But it seems that in the process he forgot about you too. What do you plan to do now? Kaguya wipes her eyes, from her kimono, she pulls out a small pink pouch which she holds close to her.
- Take me to them without being spotted. I absolutely want to give it to him before we go home. She orders, Sura nods, Kaguya clasps her hands between her, her divine eye begins to shine with an intense glow and suddenly, Kaguya takes on the appearance of a little girl of barely 4 years old, like a bud flower about to bloom. Sura comes to retrieve her and hide her in her baggy clothes, then she follows Lumine and Scara's trail to the village. Lumine is gone, the night is about to end. Sura got to where the footprints stop.

- What is this thing ? Sura wonders surprised, she touches very gently and a portal forms, allowing her to enter. Luckily, there seems to be no one there.
- I wouldn't go any further Miss, go ahead. I will come to help you as soon as you need. Speak softly putting Kaguya on the ground, she nods. Taking off her shoes and walking slowly, her hands in front of her to find her bearings. Her blind eyes show her the small flames of sleeping souls, but one of them is more troubled than the others. She recognizes her and follows her, arriving at the door of a room, the soul next door is that of Lumine, Kaguya enters this room, she hears the moans of someone asleep, she approaches towards the soul and puts his hand on what appears to be an arm.
An arm with very soft skin that feels familiar to her, upon touching it she feels that there are no human bones under that skin, rather a different skeleton, similar to what a puppet might have. Kaguya is in Scara's room, asleep on his bed, moaning in his sleep, his eyes bathing in tears as he's having nightmares, he's only wearing his shorts, his chest exposed with a hole in it. Kaguya climbs on the bed with her little child's body, making sure not to wake him up, taking out her little pink pouch, she pulls out something resembling a human heart. A heart of a midnight blue and black color, she places it in his chest.
Scara moaned loudly, his breathing becoming more ragged. Kaguya feels a twinge in her own heart, she tries to hold back her tears. She doesn't remember him, like he doesn't remember her. However, her heart is beating very hard in her chest, she bites her lower lip, leans over and comes to place a kiss on Scaramouche's lips before leaving the room as quickly as she entered. Scara opens his eyes in the next second, clutching his mouth and chest.
He feels a heavy weight there which tires him.
