" Where am I?"

" Wake up, sleepy head, you're here!" He opened his eyes, staring at the sky only to see a woman who looked similar to Eda standing over him and smiling giddily.

"Eda? No that can't be… she looks kinda like her? Who is she?" He sits up and looks around.

" Welcome to the Boiling Isles Caleb!" "

"Caleb, there's that name again… Belos called me that name before… I know it's who I'm copied from… but who exactly were you Caleb?"

" And wake up!" Hunter was jolted awake by Luz yelling at him sitting on his bed He sat up in an instant, panting.

" The heck Human?! You scared the crap out of me!"

"Oooooo someone be mad, you haven't called me human in forever! I low key kinda miss it." She smiled, poking him on the nose. Hunter just growled at her. Luz couldn't help but laugh, I love how your face gets red when you get flustered. Bet Willow does too." She winked, Hunter's face turned. Brighter shade of red as he tried to hide his face from her.

" What do you want?"

" Oh nothing, I just thought I would wake you up so you're not late for your date with Willow."

" Ah crap, I forgot that it was today. Thanks. Luz"

" You got it my guy! " She said leaving his room with Stringbean trailing behind. Waffles flew over and landed on his shoulder and chirped, nuzzling his cheek.

" Morning Waffles," he said, petting the little blue cardinal on her head. He smiled at the small bird. It felt good to have a palisman again, he still missed Flapjack like no tomorrow and Waffles would never replace him, but he did love the little bird deeply.

" Come on, let's get ready for my date! "Hunter quickly threw on a red plaid button up shirt and a pair of black pants, he was thankful that Camila gave Him. Some of her late Husband's clothes, especially since he didn't have many. He quickly brushed his hair and made a run down stairs and through the kitchen briefly waving goodbye to Eda, King and Luz, before grabbing his bag and running out the door, Waffles immediately changed into her staff and Hunter took off heading towards town.

" Where's Blondie going? I have never seen that kid in that much of a rush with a smile on his face. It's nice to see him smiling finally, plus not looking so dang exhausted."

" Oh he has a date."

" What?!" Both Eda and King were shocked.

" Alright kid, give me a scoop. Who's the special witch he's seeing?"

" You know her, starts with a w and ends with an o ."

" Well I'll be he actually asked her out. Good for him he needs something positive in his life the kid deserves it. Also speaking of which, King you owe me 30 snails."

" You both seriously bet on if Hunter and Willow would go out."

" Yup and it looks like I won. '' Eda smiled widely. King just sighed and rolled his eyes.

" Awe better luck next time buddy. " Luz said petting king on the head.

" Fine! Be right back. " He said getting off the table and heading back up to his room.

Meanwhile the Hunter made it to town and hopped off his staff. Waffles transformed back to her bird form and perched on his shoulder.

" Hey Hunter!" He turned to see willow smiling. She was wearing a green dress with a white flower pattern on it that Hunter made for her Birthday. Hunter smiled back and ran over to her.

" Hey!" He smiled. This was all still so new to him, he never had a real social life until a year ago and within only six months he had a girlfriend and sort of a normal life for a teenager.

" So what do you wanna do? "

" Oh uh I honestly haven't thought about it. Still getting used to living like a normal teenager." He laughed blushing.

" Aww you're so cute when you blush, I kinda figured something like would happen, so I brought us some food I was thinking we could have a picnic and I know a great place with a great view of the boiling sea."

" That sounds lovely " he smiled

" Great, let's go! '' she said, grabbing his hand as soon as she did. He got a strange flashback of the same woman from earlier in his dreams, this time she was holding his hand and they were running through an old looking Bonesbourogh; before he could think too much of that strange flashback, he jumped on the back of willows staff and they took off admiring the view of the boiling isles, though it's been a year, you could still a good amount of damage caused by Titan Belos rampage and the collectors Castle still sat at the top of the Titans skull like a crooked Crown. It felt nice that the Boiling Isles were at peace for once and Hunter never felt more free. They made it to the spot Willow told him about and they took a seat. Willow was right; it was a perfect view of the Boiling Sea. You could smell only the slightest tinge of sulfur in the air, Hunter found it to be peaceful, he helped Willow set up all the picnic stuff and the two just sat and talked and laughed for hours. As the sun was starting to set she was resting her head on his chest, He was smiling looking down at her and he kissed her on the head.He couldn't get those strange dreams out of his mind. Were they even dreams? They seemed more real, almost like memories of some distant past life. Was it Caleb's memories? He thought to himself racking his brain of what the memories could be.

" Hello Hunter, Earth to Hunter, you good?" His thoughts were interrupted by willow looking at him concerned.

" You okay?You've gotten kinda quiet."

" Oh yeah, just been having some strange dreams as of late "

" Oh what kind of dreams, are your nightmares back?" She said worriedly.

" No, thank the Titan for that. But it's strange they feel like memories of a distant past life I used to have. But I don't know anyone in them. The name Caleb gets mentioned a lot and I experience these through my own eyes. I know Belos referred to me as Caleb twice. Are they his memories that I am now just seeing? "

" Well wasn't Caleb Belos's brother? You know from the old story we heard? I know you don't like talking about the fact you're a Grimwalker, but could it be a possibility you Inherited his memories? I know you have mentioned before that you wanted to learn more about who his brother was and who you were a copy of. Have you told Eda or Luz? "

" No not yet, it's just so strange, I haven't quite figured out how to word it. "

" Well you wondered if it was perfect, so you could say the same thing? "

" You are different though, you're so easy to talk to. I feel like I can tell you anything."

" Aww you're so sweet Hunter."

"Aww you're so sweet Caleb '' he shook his head again, another brief image flashed in his mind of the same woman looking up at him and smiling as she was resting on his chest.

" Hunter?"

" I'm okay, sorry to worry you, Just another weird flashback."

" Hmmm you should definitely mention that to Eda maybe she would have some sort of idea, or you could have King ask The Collector. He may know."

" Nah. I don't wanna bother King by having him ask The Collector for me. It's all good, I will figure it out." He smiled looking down at her.

" Okay, just don't let it ruin your sleep, Im digging the no dark eye circles look "

" I won't, they don't scare me they are just strange. "

"Fair enough, well the sunset so I have to go. Unfortunately dad and papa want me home before it gets too late. Text me on Pentsagram? " She said getting up and giving hunter a good bye hug

" Of course " He smiled, giving her another kiss on the head. She looked up and kissed him on the cheek. Hunter's face went beet red and she couldn't help but laugh." With another hug and wave she took off on Clover. Hunter felt waffles hopped on his shoulder and tweeted at him.

" Alright let's get going too " he said to waffles as she turned into her staff form and they took off back home.
