Welcome all to my newest project: Yugioh: The Desert Fighters. This will be a combined story of Yugioh, Saints Row (The Rebooted 2022 game) and Cyberpunk 2077.. I'll once again use cards made by me, others and ones only seen in the anime and manga series of all eras of Yugioh (Except for Sevens). This story will follow all of the rules of the OCG/TCG. Cards that were seen all over the eras of Yugioh will be seen (Except Sevens) will be seen, including ones used only the manga and anime as well and cards made be me & other writers. Enjoy this dueling story and everything inside of it. Also, this small story will use the combined and current OCG & TCG banlists (OCG Current: April 2023) - (TCG Current: February 2023) to make it more intresting as well (If new ban lists get released, I'll check them and see what I might have to change). As always, this story is dedicated to my mom who I lost in 2021, my uncle that passed on in 2023 and for Kazuki Takahashi himself, the creator/father of Yugioh. This is for all three of you!

The great desert City of Santo Ileso has been through a lot in the years. Back in the early 2020s, a violet gang battles against the gangs called The Saints, Los Panteros, The Idols and a defense group known as Marshall waged war against one another. Thanks to the Saints, each gang and Marshall were defeated and their gangs disbanded from the city and most left to start a new life and then the Saints took over the city. About 30 years after that, the Saints all left with their 4 leaders left the city to start a new life on the east coast. a lady known as The Boss, two guys named Kevin and Eli and a woman named Neemah all left for their new lives and haven't been heard from since. Their old HQ turned set unused for about 15 to 20 years until 2065. A police group called the World Fighters bought the building and the land around it as well so they can have training areas for their groups and store their vehicles as well and they helped run the city with the SIPD until the current day as well. The once run-down hotels and casinos were rebuilt and have been more better then they ever were. A major rumor is that before the Saints left the city, they buried a huge stash of drugs, money and weapons in a secret hidden bunker somewhere in the city and people have been looking for years now and no one has had any luck at doing so. Our newest tale begins in a small apartment about 5 miles away from the World Fighter HQ that I own with my roommate and best friend for life. My name is Cierra Mitchenson and I'm 21 and my roommate's name is Maria Cubert and we've both been in the same apartment ever since we graduated from high school and we've kep the place since we both graduated from a college here in Santo Ileso. We've both been friends since we were 8 and we always wanted to be with each other. I was a thin blonde-haired woman and I wore blue jeans and a red shirt that said SAN ILESO HIGH SENIOR POWER! on it. Maria wore a blue shirt and black jean shorts. I wore glasses to cover my beautiful blue eyes (Maria always said they were beautiful looking) I also had long, brown hair. My her right arm was covered in a sleeve of various flower, star and insect tattoos (My mom and dad paid for it as my graduation gift from college) and had the words DRAGON LADY on the top of my chest. Maria had no tattoos herself, but she wanted one some day. I was going over my duel monsters deck while she was working on her laptop.
Maria looked at me and replied, "How's your deck, girl?"
I looked at her and replied, "As great as it will ever be, girl. I love the cards I use in and I feel like I can crush any deck that gets in my way."
She nodded and she went back to the laptop and she saved what she was working on and then she looked at me and replied, "You want to head to the Serena Sands Mall for some card hunting and shopping, girl? I just got paid and my gas tank is full as well.
I looked at my deck and then I resumed, "I will if I can bring my duel disk with as well. I never know when I would be challenged to a duel."
She smiled back and nodded and I grabbed my deck and I slid it into my purse I had nearby and I resumed, "Let's get going."
She nodded as we both got up and left the apartment.

The Serena Sands Mall was the main mall inside of the busy district area of the city. It had 3 floors and many places for fun and tasty foods and some of the best places to shop in California. We made it to the 2nd floor Food Court and I bought 5 packs as the Card Sharkz Card shop and I tore though of all of them already and my roomie got us a couple of drinks.
Maria looked at me and replied, "Any good pulls?"
I looked through the cards and I smiled and replied, "Quite a few actually."
I showed her a couple and one was a Level 4 monster and a Level 6 monster and she saw the cards and she nodded and replied, "Those cards are trully your style and wil be perfect for your duels, girl."
I nodded as I shuffled the cards into my deck and then I smiled and replied, "What a day this was."
"STOP, THIEF!", a female's voiced yelled out and quickly turned around and saw someone wearing a pink shirt and pink shorts running by us while wearing a pink mask and holding a duel disk on his arm and a purse in his hands running pass us with a mall cop and a female woman running after him and people got out of the way as they ran pass us and then Maria replied, "That was odd and that guy looked like those Idol idiots that nearly ruined this city."
I only nodded and then replied, "Want to head back home and order pizza for supper tonight?"
My roomy smiled and we both got up and left the court.

We got outside and were heading to her car.
Maria then replied, "I wonder if that caught that creep that got away."
I was about to sat something and the mall guard, the woman and the thief were trapped in inside of a ugly pink car with red stripes all over and it said GLORY TO THE SMASHER on both sides of it in white letters was inside and they were blocking the guy from leaving and the guard had his key and Maria smiled and replied, "What a grab."
The masked guy then replied, "Give me back my keys, mall pig!"
The guard then replied, "Give back the purse and phone you stole from her and we'll talk about it after the backup get here, dude."
He only sighed and the woman then replied, "You are really getting on my last nerve, buddy! Give me back my stuff!"
He smiled as he went into his pocket and he got a small pink gun out and pointed at her and then replied, "How about this, lady!"
The cop looked at him and replied, "Don't you dare!"
He smiled fired a shot and it slammed into her right shoulder and she moaned as she collapsed to the ground and she was bleeding and she replied, "You son of a bitch!"
The cop looked at her and replied, "You'll be okay."
The masked guy dropped the gun in his car and we quickly ran over and the cops saw us and replied, "Leave, please. I have to help her."
She took out a cellphone and he dialed a number and resumed, "Aaron here. Please call them and tell them to meet us in the southern Ramp area on the first floor. We have a wounded woman here."
He quickly hung up and he grabbed a small rag from his pocket and placed it on her shoulder and she moaned and then I looked at the masked duelist and replied, "You duel, dude?"
He nodded and replied, "Of course I do, lady. What's it to you?"
I nodded and resumed, "We have a duel right here and now and if I win, you give up without a fight."
He nodded and resumed, "if I win and I will do so, I get to get away clean and i'll give back her stuff to be nice."
I looked at the cop and he sighed and replied, "Do what you have to, kid. I have to tend to her while a medic comes here."
I nodded to him and then I looked at the stranger and replied, "I won't duel you until you give me your name and take off that hideous mask."
He sighed and took tue mask off and it revealed a shaved face with a bald head and he had tattoos on both sides of his neck that said ADAM on one side and SMASHER on the other side and he replied, "I'm Marky D and I'm a scout for the Neon Smashers! We're looking for the saints abandoned treasure hull and hopefully find the wrecked remains of Adam Smasher! We will bring him to normal some day!"
I looked back at Maria and she replied, "I can tell you more about that thing later on at home, Cierra. Crush this asshole."
I nodded and turned to him and we both activated our duel disks and as he drew 5 cards, My eyes began to glow white and then I held my head as the light died down and Maria then replied, "You okay, girl?"
I nodded and I drew 5 cards of my own.
"Game on!", the wierdo yelled out.

I looked at my hand and I nodded and resumed, "I'll set a monster and a card and that's my turn now."
The thief drew a card and resumed, "I'll show the true power of my deck, lady. I activate my Machine Assembly Line and summon my Motor Shell as well!"
He played the card and a large assembly line with a large metal cylinder and then a strange noisy machine with exhaust pipes puffing out exhaust and smoke like crazy (ATK: 1,300 - 1,500) and I kinda figured this would be a Machine deck.
"Destroy her facedowm monster!"
A huge amount of exhaust puffed out of the machine as it quickly flew in and my monster, a Komouri Dragon, appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and the noisy machine crushed my dragon into small, black shards.
"You'll need to do better then that to beat me. I End my turn."
I drew a new card and I nodded and played it as my Alexandrite Dragon appeared with a snarling growl (ATK: 1,900) and the thief looked at my monster and he sighed and replied, "That's a good start."
I nodded and pointed as a huge burst of glowing white shards shot out and stabbed into the dark machine and it exploded into fiery, black pieces of metal that rained down on his side of the field.

The hot pieces dissolved into dust and he resumed, "When Motor Shell is wrecked in battle, I can Special Summon a Motor Part token to defend me."
A small broken cart part appeared (DEF: 0) and I nodded and pointed back at the crook and he drew a card and resumed, "I'll switch my token to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that's my turn now."
I drew a new card and I nodded and I played it as my Hunter Dragon appeared (ATK: 1,700) and I nodded as my smaller dragon glowed as a burst of glowing white blades shot out and blew his token to little pieces and then my other dragon let out more glowing shards and a machine monster I knew as a Cyber Phoenix appeared on the card (DEF: 1,600) and the flames struck it and hot pieces of metal flew around the field and then he drew a new card and i resumed, "That's all I can do for now."
He drew a card and resumed, "I activate my Frontline Base!"
The spell appeared.
"I now summon my Beetron-1 Beetletop."
He played a card and a beetle-shaped machine with tires and a large metal horn appeared (ATK: 1,700 - 1,900).
"I now use my Base's effect and Special Summon my Beetron-3 Spider Base!"
The spell appeared and a large battle-shaped machine appeared (ATK: 1,000 - 1,200).
"I now equip my Spider Base to my first one."
The large beetle flew onto the field and landed on top of the spider machine and it connected to it as well (ATK: 1,900 - 2,500).
"Destroy her Hunter Dragon!"
The horn of the giant thing glowed as a burst of energy shot out and slammed into and quickly atomized my smaller dragon before it could give out any kind of roar.

"Gotcha there, lady! I end my turn now."
Cierra drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my dragon to defense and then I'll set another one for later."
Marky D drew a card and resumed, "I Summon my Helping Robo for Combat!"
He played the card and a large rickety machine of light with a mallet-like arm (ATK: 1,600 - 1,800).
"Robo, attack!"
Its started to rush in and I quickly discarded a card as a small dragon with silver skin and two white wings appeared and blocked the attack from reaching my dragon and I nodded and resumed, "If a Dragon I control would be destroyed in battle, I can discard this card to prevent it's destruction until the End of the battle."
"Damn it. Beetron, attack!"
The beetle glowed as another burst of energy shot out and my Masked Dragon appeared on the card (DEF: 1,100) and the laser pierced through it and burst into fiery embers that flew around the field and then a 2nd Masked Dragon appeared (ATK: 1,400).
"You lucked out, lady. I end my turn now."
I drew a new card and resumed, "I tribute my Masked Dragon for my Des Volstgalph."
A 2nd Masked Dragon vanished into fiery embers and a huge desert-like dragon appeared (ATK: 2,200).
"I now activate Dragon's Evil Eyes."
The spell appeared.
"For each Dragon I control, I Can destroy one of your cards and I choose your Equipped Union monster and your Assembly Line."
The eyes of both dragons glowed as the Assembly card shattered to bits (ATK: 2,500 -2,300) - (ATK: 1,800 -1,600) and the metal legs collapsed to the ground and shattered to bits (ATK: 2,300 -1,700).
"Time for some fighting. Des Volstgalph will destroy your robo."
My larger dragon roared as a huge burst of fiery energy shot out and smashed the machine into hot metal and then a 2nd burst of energy slammed into him.

"You take 500 damage when my dragon destroys a monster. Alexandrite Dragon attacks now."
The dragon glowed as a burst of small, glowing white shards shot out and stabbed into the beetle machine and I watched it simply fall apart in a pile of broken metal.

I only smiled and then I resumed, "Your turn now, dude."
He drew a new card and resumed, "I activate my Heaven's Lost Property. We both drew 3 and discard 2."
He drew 3 cards and He discarded a Cyber-Tech Alligator and a Giga-Tech Wolf and then I drew 3 cards and I discarded a Vanguard of the Dragon and a Jar of Greed and he resumed, "I activate my Monster Reborn!"
The spell appeared as the huge reptile-like machine appeared (ATK: 2,500).
"I summon my Mechanicalchaser!"
He played the card and a many-armed machine appeared (ATK: 1,850) and he smiled evily and replied, "I activate my Clockwork Night!"
The spell appeared.
"Your monsters become machines and they lose 500 attack as well!"
They dragons began more metallic dragon-like machines (ATK: 2,200 -1,700) -(ATK: 2,000 - 1,500) and then her machines glowed (ATK: 1,850 - 2,350) - (ATK: 2,500 - 3,000).
"Time for fun. Mechanicalchaser, attack!"
The dark machine went in and jammed its prod arm into my larger dragon and (It didn't feel the pain because it was a machine) and then cracks formed all over before it exploded into metal shards.
"Alligator, attack!"
The reptile went and slashed at my machine dragon and it let out a low metallic roar before it shattered to pieces as well.

I looked at my hand and I nodded and resumed, "I Special Summon my Keeper of the Shrine."
I payed the card and a bearded, winged human-like dragon appeared and it knelt (DEF: 2,100).
"You won't beat my machines unless you get a good draw, lady. I end my turn now."
I drew a new card and I smiled and replied, "Since my Keeper is still a Dragon, I activate my Stamping Destruction to wipe out your Night card."
The spell appeared and the eyes of my dragon glowed as two beams of black flames struck the spell and reduced it to ashes (ATK: 3,000 -2,500) - (ATK: 2,350 - 1,850) and some of the beams struck him down.

Before I had a chance to continue my move, I saw 2 paramedics walk out of the entrance to the car area and they ran over to our duel and the taller female one was there and she replied, "Where's our patient, Aaron?"
He pointed at the woman and she was still bleeding, but it was slower and slower coming out of her arm and the other worker sighed and replied, "We got this, Aaron."
He nodded as he got up and helped her on her feet and she replied, "Chris, we need to get her out of here."
She nodded as they both walked away while holding her arms tight so the blood wouldn't our from her wound and Maria nodded and replied, "Your a great guy, sir."
He smiled at me and he replied, "Your and your friend are all right in my eyes. Smash this creep up, girl."
"Will do, sir. I tribute my Keeper to summon my Tyrant Dragon."
The dragon human vanished and a huge fiery dragon appeared on my side of the field (ATK: 2,900) and Aaron smiled and replied, "This deck is really powerful."
"Destroy his machines."
The huge dragon let out a huge stream of flames that struck and reduced the weaker to molten metal and another burst of flames shot out and slammed into the machine and it exploded into hot metal that rained down on him.

"Your turn now."
He drew a new card and resumed, "I'll set a monster and a card and that's my turn now."
I drew a new card and I resumed, "I'll set a monster and activate my Mystical Space Typhoon."
The spell appeared and tore the Frontline Base card to pieces.
I'll attack."
The dragon let out a burst of flames and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and the flames blew it to little pieces and then we had nothing to discard and we both drew 5 cards and then the dragon let out a burst of hot flames shot out and he replied, "I use the effect of my Hellborghound in my hand. If your about to hit me directly, I can banish a Machine monster from my graveyard to Special Summon it from my hand."
He banished his Motor Shell and a small robotic hellhound-like machine appeared (DEF: 800) and the flames struck and melted into slag.
"Very lucky save. I end my turn now."
Marky D drew a card and resumed, "I use the other effect of my Clockwork Night. I have to banish it and and discard a card to get any Earth Machine monster I want from my deck."
She banished the card and discarded a Bokoichi the Freightening Car and got a new monster and resumed, "I Special Summon my Gearspring Spirit from my hand in defense."
He played the card and a ghostly-like machine appeared (DEF: 100).
"Next, I activate Dark World Dealings!"
We both draw and discard a card."
I nodded and I drew a card and then discarded a Twin-Headed Behemoth and he quickly drew a card and discarded a card and resumed, "I activate my Recycling Plant."
The Spell Card appeared.
"I banish Machines monsters to Fusion Summon a Machine monster from my Extra Deck and I'll banish the Beetron monsters to Special Summon my Assault Cannon Beetle!"
He banished the 3 cards and as the 3 mechanical bugs appeared and merged together and created a large machine with many blades, wings, a large cannon-like tail and 8 large stilt-like legs appeared (ATK: 2,400) and I nodded as I saw the huge machine and the mall guard sighed and replied, "Damn, what a decent monster that thing is."
"I use my Gearspring Spirit to weaken your dragon!"
The machine glowed and the dragon turned white (ATK: 2,900 - 0).
"Lets do it. Attack!"
The machine fired a huge burst of burning plasma from its cannon tail and it shot and struck the huge dragon and it roared before it exploded in a fiery burst of ash & white & red shards.

"Your turn now."
I drew a new card and i resumed, "Time for a great and favorite combo of mine to finish you here and now. I activate my Polymerization first to Fusion Summon my King Dragun."
The spell appeared and the the Dragon wizard and a Divine Dragon Ragnarok appeared and the mighty dragon king appeared with a huge scepter in its claws (ATK: 2,400) and Maria then replied, "What's she up to?"
"I use my Dragun's Effect to Special Summon my Seleglare the Luminous Lunar Dragon."
I played the card and a beautiful dragon of light with two large glowing white wings appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"I use her effect now. I Return her to the hand and I can take a monster you have on your side of the field with the same attack or lower attack then my dragon."
My dragon vanished and the card appeared back in his hand as the huge mechanical beetle reappeared on my side of the field.
"I now tribute my King Dragun for my Strong Wind Dragon."
A the dragon king vanished as a huge muscular dragon with green skin and two large dragon wings appeared (ATK: 2,400 - 3,600) and Maria smiled and replied, "That was a great combo."
"Time to end this. Strong Wind Dragon, attack."
My mighty dragon glowed as a huge burst of wind shot out and smashed the dark machine into fragments.

"Beetle, finish him off."
The tail of the cannon glowed as a huge burst of energy shot out and slammed into Marky D, sending flying back towards the back of the vehicle.

The dragons both vanished from sight and Aaron smiled and replied, "That was one amazing combo!"
The crook got up and was about to leave to leave and then Aaron looked at him and replied, "Not going to happen!"
He went in and and punched him and knocking back towards the nearby wall and he dragged him onto his feet and he took a pair of handcuffs and cuffed him and he replied, "I'll take care him, ladies. Thanks for the extra help."
We both nodded and we walked away towards Maria's car and the mall cop nodded and replied, "She might be a great duelist and maybe a group member for that police group."

Recycling Plant / Normal Spell Card
Banish from your side of the field or GY Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a Machine Fusion Monster, and Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Fusion Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon., ignoring Special Summon conditions it may have.
Note: Was used by Nezbitt (Robotic Knight) in the Yugioh episode "Mechanical Mayhem (Part 2)".
Beetron-1 Beetletop
Machine/Normal/Earth/ATK: 1,700/DEF: 1,400/4 Stars
A large mechanical beetle-like fighting droid. It can combine with other machines to make it even better in battle.
Beetron-2 Beetleturbo
Machine/Union/Effect/Earth/ATK: 1,500/DEF: 1,800/4 Stars
Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can equip this card to a "Beetron-1 Beetletop" you control as an Equip Spell Card, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, that monster gains 400 ATK and DEF. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.)
Beetron-3 Spider Base
Machine/Union/Effect/Earth/ATK: 1,000/DEF: 2,000/4 Stars
Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 "Beetron-1 Beetletop" you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it. A monster equipped with this card gains 600 ATK/DEF, also if the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, destroy this card instead.
Assault Cannon Beetle
Machine/Fusion/Effect/Earth/ATK: 2,400/DEF: 2,800/8 Stars
"Beetron-1 Beetletop" + "Beetron-2 Beetleturbo" + "Beetron-3 Spider Base"
This card can only be Special Summoned from your Fusion Deck by returning the above cards you control to the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) You can Tribute 1 other monster you control; inflict 800 damage to your opponent.
Note: These 4 cards were used by Chazz in the Yugioh GX episode "Magnetic Personality".
Dragon's Evil Eyes / Normal Spell Card
Image: a pair of evil dragon eyes.
For each Dragon monster you control, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls.
Heaven's Lost Property / Normal Spell Card
Image: People catching white angel feathers falling from the sky.
Both players draw 3 cards and then discard two cards from their hands.
Note: Both cards were used in the Yugioh GX manga.
Hellborghound

If your about to be attacked directly, you can banish 1 Machine monster from your GY to Special Summon this card (From your hand).
