A KnightFall Thing
Cinder Fall had a problem
A very partÃcular kind of problem
They were in class you see, like very other student should be, she hated it, but it was all part of her brilliant plan to destroy Beacon and obtain the fall maiden's power, now, normally this instances would be used to analize if any student was a potential threat to said plan, however, every time she tried to do so she couldn't help but stare at a particular student, a rather handsome, blonde and kinda-but-not-so-much-anymore scraggly student...
"Maa'm" Emerald spoke, sitting to her right "May I ask a question?"
"What is it Emerald?" she asked with gruff, anoyed that her train of thought was interrupted
"I-I was just wondering, why are you looking at Nikos leader so much?' a valid question, good even, or it would be, if Cinder didn't had an answer for it "is he important in any way?"
"Of course he is" she turned to look at her lackey "You just said it yourself, he's Nikos leader, we can use him to get to her" she half-lied, the idea wasn't bad, but for whatever reason, she just couldn't get herself to like that it "Besides, there has to be a reason why he was chosen as the leader while Nikos wasn't, Ozpin may be old but he's no fool, Arc must important"
"I get that, but I don't see how just looking at him Will help with...that..." she stopped, looking at her rather "angry" boss, though that was an understatement
"Are you doubting me Emerald?" she spat with Venom un her voice "must I remind what would be of You if I hadn't rescued you?
"..No maa'm"
"Good" she turned back to Jaune, the man she had literally dreamt about, a question in her mind; why? why him? why was he special? why couldn't she stop thinking about him? about those deep blue eyes, about his golden locks, about how would his lips...UGH!
This, this was her problem, Jaune arc was her problem, ever since she had that dream with Nikos and her leader she just couldn't stop thinking about him
It was infuriting
"You want him, don't you?" Mercury joked
"Pardon?"
"I said, You want him don't you?" he repeated
"I-I Wh-wha-" Cinder didn't finish
"Hey I don't judge" Mercury raised his hands defensily "I would make out with him"
"Wait really?" Emerald interjected "why?"
"Shits and giggles" he responded "and who knows, maybe even being a thing" he suddenly stopped "huh, where did that thought come from? but that's your man right...boss"
Cinder was looking at him, nothing but rage and a faint fire in her eyes "Have you forgotten your position Mercury? You are a servant, while I am your Master and you shall adress me as such, I do not wish for any kind of relationship with Jaune Arc nor do I need you distracted with some stupid fantasies, so next time you even think of talking to me like that.." she put a hand on his shoulder, it burn "Remember the pecking order"
"I-I uh I..."
"I what Mercury?"
"Y-yes I'm sorry, it w-won't happen again boss"
"See that it doesn't" She lift her hand from his shoulder and inmediately went back to look at Jaune, while Mercury just watched the class in silence
Mercury wasn't wrong however, she was interested in Arc, if anything just to know here that dreams had came from, maybe if things were different she could know, perhaps even feel the the love she was denied so long ago ..
But things weren't different, she had a mission, one too important to let something like a stupid crush distract her, so she wouldn't, the Maiden Powers would be hers and Beacon would fall, alongside the Headmaster, Arc and her disgusting feelings for him
If only she knew that a certain blond had heard part of her conversation...
Alright so, a Knightfall Thing
I know, I know, not a lot of KnightFall, but I just don't see Cinder talking to Jaune first, so it has to be him who initiates a conversation
Also, this will be the first story that I actually continue
From the get go I'll say that I don't have a plan nor a schedule, so expect sporadic updates, the chapters won't be too long and I will write them as I go
I don't know yet if there will be a connected plot or if it just will be some sort of antology, but know that there will be another chapter, that much I can promised, most likely from Jaune's perspective
That said, I also want to remark two things:
My first languge isn't English and I have no idea what I'm doing
This story is bound to have mistakes, so I would appreciate it a lot if anyone reviewed, wheter it's for the story, beacuse I wrote something wrong, beacuse I missed a coma etc. again, I would appreciate reviews a lot
