A/N: Loud House fanfics tend to be very formulaic: either they follow the plotline of the sisters trying to get Lincoln's forgiveness so everything can go back to normal, or Lincoln getting revenge on the Loud Family, or just a shallow bonding fic.
If any of you think this will be one of these types of fanfics, you're all wrong. Sure, some people will be made more evil than in canon, but it will be for different reasons.
Anyway, enjoy this Stella-centric fic, with Lincoln as the co-protagonist.
Disclaimer: Due to being an AU of The Loud House, this fanfic doesn't follow much of the canon due to having its own ideas, canon and lore. So please, don't waste my time by claiming the characters are OOC or it is inaccurate for the show.
Chapter 1: Old and New Beginnings
It's early morning in the small town called Royal Woods, with the sun slowly rising on the horizon, meaning a new day in the citizens' lives and while nearly everyone was sleeping in their houses, a thirteen year old Filipino was running towards an alleyway, carrying a backpack and with the hood of her red hoodie over her head.
Her name is Stella Zhau and she is seeing her house on the end of the alleyway. The girl sighs in relief, glad that her family isn't awake, she sees her backpack filled with mechanical pieces she harvested from the junkyard. She moves close to a trash bin and moves it away, exposing a locked hidden passageway for her workshop. The immigrant took out the key in her pocket and unlocked it, with the small door immediately opening.
The girl enters and closes the entrance from the inside, she continues to crawl further on the passageway, once she reaches the workplace and carefully enters the room, she turns on the light through a lightswitch on her left side.
The workshop is fairly small, there is a huge drawn red star on the middle of the room, a blackboard with a blueprint glued on it in the back of the room, a desk filled with mechanical pieces and instruments on the right side, and on the left side there is something she was working ever since she moved to this small town months ago.
The blueprint on the board details everything about it from the appearance and its internal working.
The unfinished weapon has messy wires around it to electrify the weapon, with a metallic baseball bat with a wooden handle as the basis to…well, smash things. In the blueprint, there is a drawing of red stars in the metal, and a slot for batteries with a button integrated into it to activate the lightning.
"My baseball bat, I hope I can complete you now." Said Stella, admiring the weapon. "With you, I can finally face anyone in my way, and these pieces I brought will complete the basics."
After many minutes, Stella finishes the weapon and she wants to test it, but she remembers she needs to have enough sleep and her family can't discover about her little stunt. She yawns, puts her backpack on a chair close to her and exits the place, closing the passageway and locking the door. She moves the trash bin in front of the passage and brushes her hands on each other to remove the filthiness of the alleyway.
Stella exits the alleyway, ready to cross the street and start a new day…or continue this day since technically it is already friday. The girl begins to cross the street while talking.
"Well, another supply for my finished project and another day without being caught."
After crossing the street, Stella climbs the porch of her home carefully to not wake up anyone, reaching her bedroom window and quickly closing it once she enters. Stella removes her shoes from her feet, throws away her short-sleeved hoodie to reveal her white shirt before going to fall asleep, ready for what morning has for her.
----
Stella wakes up with the alarm, even falling on the floor but still succeeding in turning it off.
"What a pain, at least it is summer vacation." Stella massages her own back and goes outside of her bedroom, still wearing her clothes from yesterday, with these looking dirty and sweaty. She checks the time and sees it's 11 AM.
"Well, at least I didn't wake up at midday." Remarked her, before looking in the mirror of her bedroom. "I'm going to take a bath." Said Stella after seeing the state of her clothes, she then goes to the hallway for the bathroom and closes the door to take a bath.
After some minutes, she comes out of the bathroom with her towel covering her body and quickly goes to her bedroom to change for new clothes, spending more seconds there before coming out with her daily clothes.
Stella is wearing a short-sleeved red hoodie with a white hood and a big white star on the center, white knee shorts with red lining that reaches her knees, and white shoes with red stripes and black soles.
Stella admires her look reflected in the hallway's mirror, and while she always uses these clothes, she still loves these, but then she saw something missing in her wardrobe, so she goes back to her bedroom and exits it, now with her smartwatch and school backpack.
"Now better, I hope this first day of this vacation will be very peaceful." Stella stops smiling. "And I hope I can make some friends." Stella finishes talking and goes downstairs to see what has for breakfast.
Arriving in the kitchen, she sees her parents and her grandma are already eating on the table, waiting for their daughter/granddaughter to join them. Stella happily sits on one of the chairs and starts eating the bread and drinking the orange juice.
Her mother named Judy was reading her tablet for news about Royal Woods after already finishing her breakfast, with her husband named Zen ready to turn on the car so they can go for their last day at work.
"Stella, I heard there is a new kid in town and they are going to live in our neighborhood, try to talk with them later." Said Judy, continuing to read the web journal. Stella heard but didn't reply, but this news caught her interest.
"Ok, I will check it out later." Said Stella while finishing her food. She gets out of the table and starts to go to her bedroom, but not before saying goodbye to them. Judy and Zen go to the exit, with the man starting the car and his wife sitting in the front seat.
Her grandma goes to the front door and hand waves for her parents, with them waving back as a form of goodbye. The old lady closes the door and goes to her couch, and Zen starts to drive the car to their workplace.
"Well, another day of sleep." Said the oldest woman before starting to sleep.
Stella is preparing for this first day of summer vacation, but doesn't have many ideas. She picks up her money and exits her house through the window, climbing down the porch and watching her neighborhood.
"Screw this, I'm going to walk around." Said Stella before moving away from her house while looking for it to make sure her grandma isn't awake. However, she didn't notice a white-haired girl in her way, and by the time they noticed each other, it was already too late.
"Ouch."
They stumbled on the ground, Stella noticed what happened and went to help lift her up. "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention."
"Ok, but pay attention next time." Said the girl, seeing the brown girl with short black hair. "Anyway, I'm new here and I was exploring the neighborhood." She finishes by introducing herself.
Stella has a clear view of the girl, seeing she is slightly shorter than her and has a beanie in her hair, a brown jacket wrapped in her waist and a white T-shirt with black sleeves and collar and blue jeans with black belt and white sneakers with gray soles and red stripes.
"Oh so you're the new kid my mother talked about, my name is Stella Zhau, and I moved to this town two months ago." Stella cheerfully introduced herself for the girl, then she extended her right arm to compliment her, with the girl accepting it before stopping it.
"My name is Liberty by the way, and no, the new kid is my cousin." She introduced herself, explaining she wasn't the new kid, she then remembered something important.
"I have to go home since my father is bringing my cousin into my home, goodbye." Said Liberty before starting to move away.
"Who is your cousin?" Stella asked out of curiosity.
"It is not your business."
"Ok, goodbye Liberty." Said Stella, waving her hand while crossing the street. Liberty waves back before going back to her home.
Stella is looking around for any possible witness but after seeing there was none, she enters the same alley she entered during the night beforehand. She stops smiling and furrows her brows, annoyed at Liberty's bluntness.
"Ugh, I know she didn't have to tell me about the new kid, but was it really necessary to say that?!"
Seeing there isn't anyone, Stella does the same procedure of accessing her secret workshop: moves the trash bin, unlock the hidden passageway and crawl for the room, but not before locking the door.
After accessing her workshop, she sees her bat finished in the most basic form, with the electrification being limited to not fry the wire.
After picking it up, she puts the weapon in her hoodie's pocket after retracting it in itself after compressing it between her hands, leaving only the larger part visible with the circular end visible.
She goes to the exit, crawling back for the entrance, locking the passageway and moving the trash bin in the front again. Checking her smartwatch, she sees it is 12 PM.
She exited the hallway through the opposite direction, away from her home and in the direction for the park from Royal Woods.
----
The park, known as Ketcham Park for the citizens, is a common place for anyone to hang out, especially during the summer vacation, attracting people from all ages, but for now there aren't many people, only a small aspiring music band ready to leave the park, except their leader who decided to stay for the time being.
"Okay band, it was fun practicing with all of you, let's meet again tomorrow." The leader said, waving her hand for them, joyfully smiling.
The blonde co-leader, who has a blue streak in her hair, goes toward her and hugs her before kissing her girlfriend on the cheek.
"Lunes…I mean Luna, you always know what to do, what is the secret?" The sixteen year old teenager asked ecstatically for her girlfriend.
"I don't know Sam, maybe experience." Luna tried to reply back the best she could. Sam just put her hands on her shoulder.
"I have to go now Lunes, we have the entire summer for the play at the end of the summer, goodbye." Sam said her farewell for Luna, going for her truck in the gates where the other two members were waiting.
"Goodbye Sammy, I feel this summer will be very exciting." Luna said her farewell too, seeing Sam enter in the truck and drive away. Luna is still holding her guitar, giving her the idea of playing and singing, so she goes under a tree, sits on the ground and starts to play.
After a while, Stella finally reaches the park, and after seeing no one in sight, she starts to hop around the grass cheerfully, while hearing a music in her head, making her follow the source out of curiosity.
She goes behind the bushes to not be seen, eventually going behind the source close to a tree, so the tomboy climbs the tree stealthy as possible, moving to a tree branch, hiding below the leaves. Looking down, she sees a teen playing a guitar, not focusing on her surroundings.
"Ohhh, she is so cool." The filipino-american spoke, her eyes shining and mouth open out of joy and amazement for the teen playing the guitar.
Luna is wearing a black jacket above a purple shirt with torn collar and a white skull in the center, blue jeans torn on the knee and also black fingerless gloves, and purple boots with black soles and white laces.
Hearing the lyrics sung by the teen, she noticed it was about a boy who decided to move away from his old life out of disgust. Stella thought it was odd but shrugged off.
She didn't notice the branch succumbing to her size and by the time she noticed, she tried to jump for the tree stem to no avail.
Luna stopped playing and singing after hearing the tree branch break, seeing a brown-skinned girl with short hair fall along with it. Concerned, she goes to check the filipina, seeing she lift herself up from the ground.
"Girl, you're okay?" Asked Luna, helping the girl lift up.
"Yes, and I'm sorry for spying on you, I just loved your music." The immigrant apologized for the teen, fearing her wrath. Luna would have been angry, but hearing that someone appreciates her music and the girl nearly being hurt extinguished any anger she may have had.
"You're forgiven but don't try to spy anyone on a tree next time." Luna nearly forgot the basics, remembering it now. "Oh, I nearly forgot, my name is Luna."
"My name is Stella and like I said, l loved your music, you play alone?" Stella asked about her music, seeing she was still holding her guitar and ready to leave.
"Thanks for the compliment Stella, and no, I have a small music band." Luna answers her question before starting to leave the park to go somewhere.
"Wait, where are you going?"
"I'm going to Gus' Games and Grub to eat some food, you will go there too?"
"Y-yes, I was also planning to go there before returning home, I even have some money to spend." Stella desperately said, wanting to spend time with the teen.
"Good, let's hang out for today." Luna exclaimed for Stella's excitement since her first friend was a cool musician. The duo departed from the park and walked towards the arcade/pizzeria.
----
During this time, a white-haired boy comes out of the car with his forty year old uncle leading the way.
The twelve-year old boy has flecks on his cheeks and a chipped tooth, with his white hair being more massive than before. He is wearing his white polo, black fingerless gloves with orange lining, black trousers, and his black shoes with white stripes and white sole.
The man in his forties has short black hair with a goatee, is wearing a yellow polo, blue trousers and black sneakers.
Both are silent after coming out of the car, with both not wanting to talk with each other. The boy is scratching his head out of nervousness, wondering how everyone is nowadays after exiting that camp. Despite the situation, his curiosity got the best of him so he decided to ask.
"Uncle, how is…my family…doing?" The boy reluctantly asked his uncle.
"I don't know Lincoln." Lucas replied to his nephew, sighing about being tasked to take care of him.
"Ok, but why did you pick me up from the camp?" Lincoln asked him.
"I won't tell you, let's just enter your new house, okay." Lucas finished the talk, with Lincoln nodding in agreement.
The man unlocks the house's door and enters it, with Lincoln reluctantly entering it, ready to face his new life. The first thing he does is see the clock, showing it is 1 PM. Well, enough time for the disgraced man with the plan to adjust for the house.
Sitting on the couch was his cousin Liberty Leal seeing both of them enter the house, with her neutral but concerned look for the boy, seeing he looks like her younger cousin Lucy.
"Hello Lincoln, I see you look well hehehe." She deadpanned for him, but he didn't react at all. The girl returns to playing on her Nintendo Switch.
"Anyway, your bedroom is upstairs on the right end since the other end is the bathroom." Lucas revealed to him, the boy nodded and walked upstairs for his new bedroom.
After entering it, he sees that the bedroom is basic, only containing a bedroom, a table with a lamp, a small closet, and a trash can. At least it is better than his bed in the camp, so the boy goes to the bed and opens his suitcase, grabbing all the clothes inside and putting it inside the closet.
Tired of everything, he switches for orange pajamas and he goes to sleep, but not before putting the suitcase in the bed's feet.
----
Luna and Stella are sitting in front of each other, eating the pizza Luna has ordered and chatting to each other about their plans and goals to pass the time.
"Royal Woods is not for amateurs, and that's why I'm planning to move out from this town with Sam next year, there is nothing tying me to this town." Luna told her new friend, she looks disappointed but knows she won't be leaving anytime soon.
"I understand your decision, but anyway, let me add you to my contacts so we can keep in touch with each other in the future." Stella suggested for the older teen, Luna pulls out her cellphone while Stella turns on her smartwatch, both actions done to add the numbers in both devices.
"Wait, where did you get this watch?" Luna asked, impressed by the gadget in Stella's arm.
"I received it as a gift." The girl replied, turning off her smartwatch.
"Oh, that is a good thing." The musical teen said, looking insecure. Stella noticed it but before she could ask in concern, Luna returned to her usual mood and continued to eat the pizza, with Stella eating some slices too. The two girls eventually finished the pizza, and Luna went to pay for the food, but Stella insisted on paying instead, Luna reluctantly allowed her to pay for the food despite not liking it.
The two girls exit the building, facing the empty parking lot. Stella checks her smartwatch and sees it is 3 PM, she can only stay outside until 6 PM to make sure her family doesn't notice her absence.
"Stella, I have to return home now, goodbye." Luna told her, pointing to the time in her friend's smartwatch.
"Okay Luna, we can hang out tomorrow, goodbye." Stella said her farewell before moving away from Luna, the teen started to walk away to her home. The filipina waved her hand before moving away from Gus' Games and Grub, back to the park.
She moves her hand to put the white hood of her hoodie over her head to hide her identity. Anyway, she is back in the park and tired of walking, so she goes to a nearby bench to rest…and falls asleep due to her insufficient sleep.
----
Back at the Leal Household, Lincoln woke up, feeling refilled. The boy saw a plate from the breakfast and a cup of orange juice on the table, obviously he ate the food and drank the juice, leaving the plate and cup on the table. Lincoln remembered a gift he received during the stay at the camp, so he picks and opens up the suitcase, pulling out a pocketless hoodie, putting it on his body.
The pocketless hoodie has black sleeves and black hood along with a huge black spade on the back and front. He goes to look at himself in the mirror to see his own state, and puts a smile of excitement after seeing his new attire.
"Wow, this hoodie blends so well with my attire." Said Lincoln, still admiring his clothes. He goes back to his suitcase and pulls out a stash of comic books, his wallet and his cellphone.
He put the stash on the table, grabbing the plate and cup before leaving the bedroom. Now in the hallway, he sees that one of the bedrooms is closed while the other is open. He simply shrugged and walked downstairs.
He saw that the living room was empty, with the videogames on the counter, with his cousin's Nintendo Switch inside the dock. His old self would have selfishly taken the game without permission, but the old Lincoln was gone.
The white-haired boy looks towards the exit, trying to resist the urge of running to see how Royal Woods look nowadays.
"Wanting to exit home, snowball?"
Lincoln nearly jumped away before huffing after being scared, seeing his cousin chuckling in amusement.
"Maybe, but stop acting like Lucy."
Lincoln sees she has a brown jacket wrapped in her waist and is wearing a white T-shirt with black sleeves and collar. She also has blue jeans with black belt and white sneakers with gray soles and red stripes.
"Oh, I was planning to play games alone." Liberty explained for her cousin, showing her slingshot, giving the weapon for him along with a small bag with the projectiles. Lincoln put the bag in his pants's pocket.
"Anyway, I am going to see how Royal Woods look nowadays."
"Ok, have a nice day." Liberty finished the conversation. The boy exits the house to explore the surroundings of the neighborhood, but not before locking the door.
"My cousins, always seeking trouble." Liberty remarked while moving for her couch to play some games. "I wonder what kind of trouble he will cause with my slingshot."
----
"Stella, you aren't supposed to sleep here."
After someone said that, Stella slowly woke up, seeing a light brown hair in a braided ponytail with a blue bow on her hair. She also has blue short overalls over a yellow t-shirt, and white high knee socks with black slippers.
"Wh-what happened?" Stella slowly said, readjusting her eyes and lifting up while sitting on the bench. She then recognizes the girl in front of her, seeing she is carrying a shovel, putting a sapling inside a small hole she dug up before putting the dirt back.
"What, Girl Jordan?"
"You don't need to call me that, just call me Jordan." Said the girl. After finishing her task, she goes to Stella's right side and sits with her.
"Why were you planting trees instead of…well, playing dodgeball?" Stella asked her classmate from school. Girl Jordan sighs in frustration, making Stella sweat.
"We are not in school and I have secondary interests too; in this case about planting a tree." The girl in overalls explained to her in anger, feeling personally offended.
Seeing how fearful Stella is, Jordan calmed down. "Sorry for snapping that way, I'm so…tired of everything."
"It's okay, I shouldn't have said that." Stella reassures her, she then checks her smartwatch and sees it is 3:20 PM. She looks around and sees that people are entering the park to enjoy this day.
"You know what, I feel that my first summer in this town is going to be interesting." Stella told the dodgeball player from school. Jordan looks towards her, still holding her shovel downwards, and she asks the filipina. "Why do you think that way?"
"Because so many interesting things happened during this first day." Stella happily replied to Jordan's question, excited for what this summer vacation can offer her.
"Good to know." Jordan told her, an idea came to her mind to enjoy this summer. "What about joining a small pool party I'm planning to do? whether you accept or reject it, it is your decision." Jordan told her proposal for Stella.
"I don't know, I'm going to think about it."
"As I said, it is your choice." Jordan assured her.
Stella checks her smartwatch and sees it is 4:30 PM. She decides to exit the park and go home. "Goodbye Jordan, I have to return home."
"Goodbye, I will put your name in the invitation list." Jordan foretold the filipina, which she reacted with a thumb up. She moves away, ready to return home.
However, after reaching the sideway to exit the park, she spots a trio of bullies cornering a white-haired boy, with him trying to defend himself with a slingshot. Normally, people in these situations would just watch and not do anything out of fear, but Stella is not one of these people, especially after being a victim of bullying herself, so she pulls out her modified bat, extends it for the full size and charges towards the fight.
"Look who's back, I really missed you Larry." Said a redhead boy with mocking excitement. He is in front of the three bullies behind him.
Lincoln is holding his loaded slingshot towards the group, trying his best to focus. The boy's old self would run away in fear, with the group probably running after him, but this is a new Lincoln.
"Chandler, If you think you and your little group scare me, YOU'RE WRONG." Lincoln yelled in defense, aiming at Chandler's forehead. "And for the last time, my name is Lincoln." He finished before releasing the slingshot, managing to hit the redhead's forehead…but he didn't react at all, making Lincoln gasp in surprise.
"Larry, Larry, you really thought that with this slingshot, you could defeat me, don't make me laugh?!" Chandler exclaimed, laughing at Lincoln's growing fear and weakness, deciding to finish this conflict, he pointed his index finger towards the boy before ordering the following. "Jess and Henry…finish him off."
However, before any of them could react, an electrified bat striked his back, making him fall on the ground and go unconscious. The other two boys looked at the attacker and saw it was a tall girl, with her glaring at them with a sense of threat while pointing her modified bat at them. The duo sees Chandler on the ground and goes to check him. Stella goes towards Lincoln, who was still surprised at what happened but thankful for being saved.
"Thank you for saving me, my name is Lincoln, who is yours?" He asked while introducing himself, but the girl grabs his right arm and starts to drag him away from the commotion.
"My name is Stella and I am dragging you somewhere safe." Stella explained to him, dragging the boy to an alleyway, hoping this would be enough to hide away from the group.
"As I said, thanks for saving me, but be careful with my arm next time, you're acting like my estranged sister Lynn." Lincoln thanked her, checking his right arm for any bruises. Stella retracts the bat to put the weapon back in her short-sleeved hoodie.
"Ok, but where do you live so I can make sure you go home safely?" The filipina asked about the boy's household, concerned about the bullies.
"I now live with my uncle Lucas and my cousin Liberty. I returned to this town today." Lincoln replied to her question, revealing some information about himself. Stella realized the following.
"Wait, so you're the new kid from my neighborhood my mother talked about." Stella asked, excited about her discovery.
"I'm more like an old new kid in town, so we are neighbors now." Lincoln remarked, moving one of the bangs away from his eyes.
"I also talked with your cousin earlier but she dismissed me by claiming it wasn't my business." Stella told him, remembering the earlier parts of the day.
"I will talk about this with my cousin, she tends to be lazy and rude." Lincoln said for Stella, annoyed with another issue to deal with. "Anyway, let's go home, this first day of summer was very agitated."
"Yeah, I'm also tired." Stella agreed with him, feeling sweaty and tired. The duo moves further into the hallway for Stella's neighborhood, ready to go for their homes to finish the day, seeing the sunset starting in the sky.
"Luna was right, Royal Woods is not amateurs, but at least I was prepared." Stella remarked in her internal monologue.
----
"Chandler, you're okay?" Asked one of the boys, lifting him up with help from his friend.
"W-what h-happ-ened?" The redhead said slowly, trying to remain focused. He looked for the spot where Lincoln was previously, he then grit his teeth, face his lackeys and push them on the ground.
"WHY THE HELL YOU LET HIM ESCAPE, the only job you two had is to hospitalize him so he would know his place." He yelled in anger before remembering he was attacked from behind. "At least you two know the cowardly attacker?"
"It was a tall and brown skinned girl." Henry told him, remembering the way she glared toward them.
"And she had a weird metallic bat covered by wire and decorated with stars." Jess revealed further for him.
Their leader dusted himself, glad that his two lackeys were useful this time. He now has a plan to deal with her and Lincoln. "Jess and Henry, try to locate her house for me, I have some…ideas to deal with her."
"Yes Chandler." The duo said in unison. The redhead smirked, thinking on ways to finish his two enemies.
----
The two kids are now in their neighborhood, ready to return to their respective homes, Stella puts Lincoln's contact number in her smartwatch. After that, they shake their hands before saying their farewells.
"Goodbye Stella, I'm looking forward to tomorrow."
"Me too, goodbye Lincoln."
After that, Lincoln went back to his house, after seeing him enter the house, Stella went to her house's backyard and started to climb the porch for her bedroom.
However, after entering through the window, she saw her grandma waiting for her, sitting on her bed, and she didn't look happy.
"Stella, where were you? I tried to call you after seeing you weren't in your bedroom." The old woman asked the nervous girl, but she regained her confidence and revealed the entire events to her.
"So you managed to befriend some people and the new kid in town, even saving him from some bullies." The old woman recapped herself, feeling proud of her granddaughter.
"I will withhold this information from your parents, but next time, use the front door." She finished talking before exiting her granddaughter's bedroom.
Satisfied , Stella opens up a compartment in her bed to hide her weapon before tossing her hoodie to a chair in her bedroom, revealing her white shirt.
Not having anything better to do, she picks up her laptop from inside the closet to navigate the internet until her parents arrive home from their last day at work until the end of summer vacation.
----
"...and that's how I managed to return here, and she revealed that you, cousin, said it wasn't her business." Lincoln finished telling the events to his cousin and uncle. Their reactions are varied, with Lucas looking towards his daughter in disapproval while she nervously chuckles.
"Liberty, you are getting too far with your behavior, you will apologize to our neighbor for being rude to her." Lucas spoke to his daughter, disappointed with her.
"Everyone knows how nice I can be, but in hindsight, I should have handled this situation better." The girl with a beanie snarked, but still regretting the first interaction with her neighbor.
"Anyway, I will cook the food and you don't need to help, Lincoln." He finished before walking to the kitchen, leaving the white-haired kids alone.
Lincoln gives back her slingshot and bag with projectiles, before speaking. "This weapon isn't for me, you can handle it better."
"You had to extend the slingshot well to do any effect, but I think you need to find another weapon." She continued talking.
"Yeah, I agree. I will finish taking out the content from my suitcase before dinner." Lincoln told her before going for the staircase to his bedroom. Liberty moves the couch to watch the TV.
Lincoln picks up his suitcase and opens it completely, seeing it has many basic items, for example: his toothbrush and towel. He takes all of the basic items out and puts these in their rightful places, going for the bathroom to put the ones related for the bathroom.
However, when looking around his suitcase, he saw a letter and a medium L-shaped pipe. Curious, Lincoln picks up the two items, putting the pipe on the bed, he then opens up the letter.
Dear Bro.
I'm your little goth sister and I'm going to reveal how I passed my time.
Well, I gained an interest in knives and I am planning to fuse all of my knives into a single one. I'm thinking of naming the ultimate knife 'Real Knife', based on a game I played.
About Luna, me and her decided to form a partnership for the time being, I'm even helping her with some lyrics for her music, and now she has a secret ax, no, not the guitar one, a real ax, but I don't know if she will ever use it.
This pipe will protect you and be your weapon. Master it so it can be used for its full potential. I personally felt you fit more with a pipe as a weapon.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting you again and restarting our relationship.
Ass. Lucy.
"Luce, we are going to meet again, I promise." Declared Lincoln, holding the letter to his chest, he carefully puts it inside the drawer from the table.
The boy sheds a single tear of joy and wipes it off with his finger, he looks for the pipe and hides it under the pillow. After that, the boy exits his bedroom and walks down to the living room to join Liberty.
"Oh, so you finished your task." She talked after noticing him.
"Yes, what you're watching?" He asked, sitting on the couch and looking at the TV.
"Just watching Royal Woods News."
"Ok."
The two cousins are watching the TV, seeing the local reporter called Katherine Mulligan going to deliver the news about today.
"Attention citizens of Royal Woods, the summer vacation has been extended for one more month this year."
The two kids gasped in surprise before cheering and jumping in happiness and excitement, catching Lucas's attention, so he went to the living room, wearing an apron.
"What is happening here?"
"Summer vacation was extended, that's why we are so happy." His daughter explained, still celebrating with her cousin, the adult was frozen before saying the following.
"What?"
They are far from the only ones happy for this summer. Royal Woods was completely drowned by loud cheers from all kids from Royal Woods at this news.
Chapter End
A/N: Yeah, there will be OCs in this fanfic, but they won't be the only ones. Also, Lucy apparently played Undertale and completed the genocide route.
Let me clear some confusion:
1) Lily, Clyde Morag don't exist in this continuity. I genuinely feel these characters were unnecessary and Morag is nearly impossible to take seriously.
2) Lincoln was sent to a reformation camp after going too far with his selfishness, making this version more nice and consistent than his canon self.
3) Events similar to the ones from Season 1 will be referenced but will be in broad strokes.
Enjoy this AU.
