Chapter 1
Today was another day in the Black order. It has been hectic and busy with the sudden attack towards the black order 7 days ago by level 3 akumas. The science division and the finders cooperated to rebuild the order. Many of them were injured but no one died...however certain boy shut himself in the room at the end of corridor. His eyes too dry to let tears fall, his heart was void of emotions. His voice was silent and the eyes shown no reflection. Pleas and encouragement was not heard, didn't even pass through the door.
The knock on the door flinched the boy; making him curl in to a small ball as if he was defending himself from the world.
"Allen-kun...Will you come to the cafeteria? Please eat something...It has been 3 days since you came back! And you just have been holed up in here...Allen-kun" Her voice trembled like she was about to cry. "Lenalee, let's come back later. We can bring him some food Jerry cooked. Maybe he will perk up with the smell. Okay?"
"...You're right Lavi...Let's do that...Allen-kun! I'll be back with some delicious meal!...I hope to see you..." Reassuring man's voice dragged the girl away from the solemn door. Allen's arm tightened even more and his nails dug deeper into his skin. Leaving a red stain on his white cloth.
"I...I'm not...I can't..." Allen murmured. "I'm sorry"
There in the shadow lurking towards Allen's room, touching the door. "Allen Walker..."
7 days ago...
Allen and his friends were at the cafeteria. "Allen-kun! What would you like for today?" Jerry asked. It started of with a usual morning, Lenalee and Miranda was there. Marie was calming Kanda's anger as Lavi kept calling him names. Timothy mischievously playing around with Chaozii and Toma the finder. Krory was with Johnny trying out new food. Bookman was eating in peace as he sighed at his successor who was playing around.
For Allen, it was a sight that he loved and hoped for it to last. But somewhere in the back of his mind, he knew that there was no place for him. For a heretic like himself, he had to be a clown. Deceive, lie, and hold his own feelings down.
"Don't be greedy. Keep the line." Allen smiled.
"Moyashi's back!" Lavi laughed. "BakaLavi! Stop with the Moyashi name!" Allen frowned. "Hey! Yu started with the trend! Have you ever had any other nicknames? I've been told pirate boy once. It was funny!" Lavi pointed at his eye patch, claiming that was an iconic nickname visually ans literally.
"...red..." Allen mumbled.
"What did you say Allen?"
"Huh..? Oh! nothing." Allen smiled, a clown-like smile. Whist of the conversation, Kanda stared at the cursed boy. 'That moyashi'
Allen's left eye reacted suddenly with jolting pain. "Allen-kun!?" His eyes was in excruciating pain that he have never been before. 'Auugh, it...it hurts.' He held on to the eye, just like when he was fighting with Fou back at asian branch.
"Allen!"
"I'm alright! Other than that, there is akuma somewhere close! We should head to-"
Huge explosion occurred, the staff and exorcist went into a panic mode. Floors and walls collapsing; letting akuma attack all moving and breathing objects. The sound of scream and terror was heard everywhere. "ALL EXORCISTS! ALL EXORCISTS WHO IS IN THE AREA OF NORTH AND EAST WING! PLEASE ATTEND TO ATTACK AND ELIMINATE THE ENEMY! THE LEVEL OF AKUMA IS LEVEL THREE! AGAIN THE LEVEL OF AKUMA IS LEVEL THREE!" The black order's announcement echoed together with the emergency bell. Midst of all the commotion, Allen, Lenalee, Lavi, Kanda, Marie, and Miranda headed towards where the explosion happened. The rest tended and protected the staffs.
"Allen, Lenalee and I will take care of this side. Yu, Marie and Miranda take care of the east!" The redhead pointed, Marie and Miranda nodded and Kanda growled for being called by his first name. The group split heading towards the destination, but Allen's foot was stopped by the certain frowning man. "Kanda? What is it?" Allen was surprised by the sudden pull.
"Moyashi.."
"It's Allen! What is it Kanda?"
"Stop making that face."
"Wha-"
"The face you made back then was-"
"Allen-kun!" Lenalee waved her hand. "I'm coming!" Allen shook Kanda's grip and ran towards the pigtail girl. "Kanda, tell me later. Okay?" Allen's clownish mask was painted as he smiled. "Oi!" Kanda tried to reach him, but he was already on his way to Lavi and Lenalee.
The samurai stood staring at his hand that still had the warmth from the boy.
Teamwork seemed to work perfect especially when they fought through the toughest times together. The trust between them was perfect. Lenalee's dark boots, Lavi's hammer, and Allen's crown clown activated and at last they reached to the concentrated part of the enemy's nest.
Everything was going more smoothly than they thought. Even though the akuma was strong, it wasn't as hard as what they experienced in Japan. "If we can finish this side, it will be over. We are almost done!" Lavi shouted with positivity in his voice, however Allen felt something wrong; something tingled in back of his mind. Suddenly a voice echoed in his mind, halting his movement. "...ember...you are-...don't...rget..." Allen held his cursed left eye. Painful jab electrocuted his left eye. "AHH!"
"Allen! Are you okay?"
"Allen-kun!" The green head and red head stopped their foot heading towards the white haired boy.
"...my...my eyes is..." Allen held his head. The two other exorcist supported as they moved to a hidden spot. "Allen, are you ok? Does your eye hurt?" Lavi caressed the younger one's back. Under his holding hand, red substance was dripping. Red tear-like falling from his cursed eye. "Allen-kun you're bleeding!" Lenalee pulled out her handkerchief, but the moment was broken when two akuma found their presence. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I, FOUND, YOU!" The grey akuma pulled out his armed gun towards the three exorcist. Lavi pulled his weapon and guarded. Lenalee stepped in front of Allen and covered him from the after blow of the attack. "How did you-?" Lavi yelled. "HAHAHAHA AS LONG AS YOU KEEP THAT CURSED ONE WITH YOU, WE CAN FIND YOU ANYWHERE" He pointed. The hysterical voice broke Allen's consciousness. "Its me...I can't be with you. Their target must be me. Lets split...and I...I..." Allen looked up towards Lenalee. Who obviously shook her head, rejecting the idea. "NO! It's too dangerous to move on your own. We will fight with you" Lenalee smiled. "...but I am-" However that smile disappeared when an akuma came behind Allen, piercing spear-like weapon through his abdomen. "GWWWAAA" His hoarse voice cried in pain, blood gashing out from his pieced wound. Allen tried to escape weakly but his consciousness became hazy and his vision blackened, flopping his body's weight on to the enemy. "Target captured" The smirk on akuma invigorated the two exorcists' anger.
"GIVE BACK ALLEN-KUN! YOU PIECE OF-!" Lenalee jumped towards the enemy whose weapon still pierced through Allen. But the attack did not reach as they disappeared together with unconscious boy. The other two also disappeared and left the two gaped in horror. "...A...Allen-Kun...No...NO...ALLEN-KUNNNN!"
From not to far, come three exorcists: Kanda, Marie, and Miranda. "Lenalee-chan! Lavi-kun!" Miranda shouted. "All the enemy disappeared suddenly...Lenanlee?...Lavi?" Their movement slowed down, noticing the weird atmosphere around the two. The two exorcist slumped on to the ground in despair; not moving an inch. "...Hey what happened. Where's moyashi...Hey" Kanda grabbed Lavi. Lavi bit his lips trying to hold it's emotion as he was a successor of Bookman. But it was futile when he explain what happened, couldn't believe that he couldn't protect his comrade, his friend. Once again.
"...Allen-kun...got kidnapped...?" Miranda lost its balance falling on her knees. Marie was also speechless. Kanda was speechless but his emotion was not; hitting the wall by his side. His knuckle was bleeding with the sudden impact and trembled slightly. "DAMN IT!"
"Kanda..." Marie who was the oldest within the group composed himself and grabbed Miranda's hand.
"Marie-san...?"
"We shouldn't be here in despair. We should report this to Komui and figure out a plan to get Allen back. Lenalee, Lavi, Kanda, let's go. There is no time to waste." His voice was comforting and giving the youngster the courage and will back to their eyes. "You're right! We have to get Allen back. Allen is strong! He must also be fighting too!" Lavi stood up supporting Lenalee. Lenalee as well, wiping her tears stood up with a nod. The five of them ran back heading to Komui's office.

"...Allen...got kid..napped..." Komui mumbled, his face lost its color, terrified. To the point the 12 exorcist found it little bit odd. Even though Komui cares about his family, his home. The way his voice broke and his face darkened was definitely odd.
"We were attacked but akuma found us quick. If I remember, he said..."
"HAHAHAHA AS LONG AS YOU KEEP THAT CURSED ONE WITH YOU, WE CAN FIND YOU ANYWHERE"
"...is what they said..." Lavi explained.
"So that means they were targeting Allen from the start...?" the shortest, youngest boy stated.
The silence once again filled the room. Tim hid behind his master Klaud Nine. Feeling like he might have said something wrong. The tension in the air was too much for a sweet naïve boy.
"Whether or not he was being targeted, we should find out what their purpose is...right Komui?" Kanda looked straightforwardly towards the man who was taken aback with his name called out. "..." Everyone's eyes darted towards the man waiting for his answers. "Nii-san...do you know something? If so please tell us!" teary sister of his grabbed her brother's sleeve.
"...I..."
Komui shut his eyes tight. He didn't want to blurt out the top secret of the order just because of his personal emotion. He too wanted to save Allen. He knew what was right, but the restricted secrecy held him back. "We will get Allen-kun back." Komui averted the answers together with his eyes, making Kanda more irritated. "Komui! Why are you not telling us anything?" Krory raised his voice. The question was everybody to ask. But the attention that was on this poor chief was immediately directed to the door opening aggressively. Startling everyone in the room except for the generals who already knew that there is only one man in the who planet who can do that with no care in the world. Red hair flattered as he walked in with slight scent of cigarette wafted throughout the room. His half glass glinted and his presence stole the attention.
"General Cross!" Komui exclaimed. Cross looked around and sighed. "SO...It happened didn't it." Cross sat on the couch, crossed his legs and leaned back comfortably. His action was as always so confusing, and no one understood what he was thinking. "What do you mean by that?" Lenalee stepped in front of Cross. Lavi and Kanda also shifted, curious to what and how he would respond. "..." Cross stared at Lenalee for 5 seconds then towards Komui. "Haaa, This is why I HATE coming here."
"Stop making comments and tell us what you know and where Moyashi is." Kanda growled. "He was kidnapped right? I said he would be if he stays here. Thats what I said but obviously the order doesn't give a shit about my words and do whatever they want. To their benefit."
"Wait you knew he was going to get kidnapped?" Miranda questioned. "Even Komui too?" Krory added.
Komui kept the silence. "Its fine tell them." Cross pointed with his lit cigarette.
"Allen-kun has the memory of 14th noah...and he was also a candidate for possessing a heart innocence. So we planted him a microchip in his heart to locate and find millennium earl and noah. In case of them...high chance of kidnapping Allen-kun. But the organization of the black order was ahead of themselves, they thought that even the akuma attacks the only causality is...Allen-kun to be kidnapped."
"Does Allen-kun know all this?" Komui nodded. Lenalee then remembers a flash of the scene where Allen telling her to split in to two ways. Which came back to the conclusion now. He knew...He knew about the plan. He also knew that he was being treated like an object.
"Allen knew it. Why didn't he tell us?...Why didn't you tell us?" Lavi glared at Komui.
The who room fell silent once again. Until Chaozii spoke up. "Hey! but that means we know where he is right? Then we can just detect the microchip you put in him. Also he is a noah so he won't die that easily. Isn't that a win-win situation? There wasn't any severe casualties and the higher ups knew the plan...SO basically it was according to the plan...Right?" His situational description was not wrong.. yet some in the room was not happy about the the young man. They also knew how much Chaozii hated Allen. Once for saving Tykki Mikk and once for being a noah who is the same race as the one who killed his precious family. But the statement was absolutely a red flag for some, especially they knew how fragile and human Allen can be. However the one who couldn't stand the words were not the usual member; not Lenalee, nor Lavi, nor Krory but Cross Marian.
WHACK!
A strong backhand collided onto Chaozii's cheek. "Chaozii!" Its was so strong of an impact that he was hit on the wall; collapsing all the books and documents behind him. That was not all. Cross walked towards him and grabbed his mouth. "Was that suppose to be a sarcasm? Encouragement?" Chaozii was in the air, and what kept him barely alive was Marie, Krory and Lavi holding onto this man's arms and waist. However the strength was not enough to budge this man. Chaozii's face paled and his terrified scream was muffled. The exorcist in the room slightly surprised, some knew that wasn't how he usually acts, and some was just purely surprised that he was such a emotional person.
"Cross, I think that was enough. Let him go. He is my disciple. And his wording was not appropriate, but I cannot let you get away with more." Tiedoll gently placed his hands onto Cross's arm. He then slowly put him down. Even though it was quiet, Cross's anger wasn't something they have witnessed before. "You should teach him how to shut up Tiedoll." Cross lit his cigarette once again. Back to his old self. He was famous for not caring, hating black order, and how savage he was towards people except women. But anything that relates to the boy Allen Walker, Cross did not sit quietly. His priority was always Allen. And himself who knows and spent his 8-9 years teaching the boy and being his one and only family was not something people could have voiced it out so lightly.
"Like I said that raccoon who put the microchip doesn't understand. Millennium earl isn't easy to catch, as well as noah. I know this the best. They won't find any information...Using Allen as scapegoat? What a joke."
Cross sat down. Miranda and Marie tending Chaozii's wounds. Kanda was also disturbed by Chaozii and annoyed that Allen was used as an object for Black order. "Whether we get any information or not, our priority is to save Allen. Komui, tell me...where is he?"
"Allen is currently located near France. Thats where he is from what I know." Komui looked at everyone in the room.
