THE GRAND ARMY OF THE NEW REPUBLIC

This is chaoskeeten with a new story that takes inspiration by another story made by fellow Author Moritaka1900. I truly love his story it takes from different materials in the new canon and I will do my take on his story with a twist as well. Instead of palpatine manipulating anakin. What if he found another that was more powerful than the chosen one? That's where my fan interpretation of "starkiller" comes into play. With that out of the way this chapter will serve as an explanation of how the clones will find out about the chips earlier and saving some of our beloved characters.
Prologue: 22bby 3 months after first battle of Geonosis
Shortly after the out break of the clone wars, two jedi knights were dispatched with their clone legions to help liberate a world from the Separatists alliance. Midway through the battle as they were marching in the capital city is where we jump into the action as see where events takes us.
As clones and droids fire on each other with Snail tanks and AT-RT'S dispatching the others jedi general Kai and his twin brother Zeb (both Zygerian) with their clone commanders Thor and grey march forward into the downtown area. Two platoons of clones armed with a riot shield and a DC-15a carbines move into a heavily damaged building with their Jedi officers to clear out the droids to set up a sniper nest for their advancing units down in the streets. As they near the man made entrance to the building the two Jedi began to issue orders.
"Alright men, our objective is for us to set up a snipers nest and provide cover fire for the rest of the troops down bellow. We clear out the enemy droids in there and gather any intel from the local droid commander in there." Said Kai.
"They may have traps situated in the top of the building and inside so pay close attention to and debris that is on the floor or around you." Said zeb.
"If we're going to make a run for that building my squad needs some more men. That last droid assault depleted half of my men." Said commander grey
"Understood my friend. Commander Thor, take 15 of your best men and help reinforce Grey's troops. If we catch them by surprise we can make this capture of this city one step closer to being over" said zeb.
As Thor and several other clones begin to prepare for the assault of the building he notices one of the clones act a bit off during the debrief.
"Hey Dex, are you okay?" Said Thor
"Yeah yeah I'm fine. I just don't feel like my self." Said dex
"Come on dex we did this simulation a million times. Wait what do you meant not like yourself?"said Thor
As Dex began to look around his area he saw the two Jedi several feet away and looked at them with a near zombie like look as he whisper "Jedi" with contempt. Unknown to everyone in the GAR Dex's inhibitor chip malfunction and was causing him to go from chip control to his usual self
"Dex. What's the matter?" Said Thor
Dex soon snapped out from his state and put back on his helmet as if nothing happened.
"Nothing sir. I'm fine. Come on brother. We don't want to be left behind." Said Dex as the two troopers began to move Into position and began to slowly clear out the building with the rest of the men. As they started mowing down the droids occupying the building they came near the entrance to the top level and breaching it they encountered several B1 and B2 battle droids with droid snipers on top. With the engagement nearly over Thor still noticed Dex still act a bit off even while they have their helmets on.
"Hey Dex. Focus up. Don't start stalling out now we're almost done here." Said Thor
As Dex hit his helmet to focus up he hid behind a large pillar of concrete like material as he witnessed zeb take down two B2 droids without a sweat, he took off his helmet and said "Jedi" again with a menacing smile to his face this time around. He dropped his shield down and with his carbine on his right hand started to walk up to his Jedi general.
With the last of the droids being defeated by zeb he never noticed Dex point his blaster at him and within a second a blaster was fired onto a jedi and dropped dead to the ground. The first friendly fire to occur in the war. Two clones grabbed onto him and put him to the ground just as he regained his senses and saw what happened. the others rushed in along with Kai to help their fallen comrade
"Troopers begin setting up sniping positions. Thor and grey help me take my brother and this clone up to the fleet above. We need to figure out why this trooper open fired on to my brother and general." Said Kai
"Sir who will command the rest of the operation here?" Said Thor
And this is where I come into the story. Jedi Master Keeten Cole Wiggins. I've been sent to aid the two Jedi with backup when I heard of the incident. I made it top priority to myself once I finished with the capital I will join in to figure out why this trooper open fired on a fellow Jedi and a general. It took me several hours to finally liberate the city and set up a comfortable defense before returning to the fleet with my "first" in command clone marshal Cole.
There was a moderate republic fleet orbiting the planet with several venator's and acclamator class ships to help blockade the world. I entered one where the two Jedi were at and I began to notice a dark and quiet feeling in the ship. What was supposed to be a victory for the republic became a cause of concern as I now had to figure out what exactly happened to this particular trooper. Near the medical center of the ship I saw the trooper restraint but docile and the deceased friend of mine. I wonder what this will do to his brother now.
"Kai. I'm so sorry my friend."
"Why? Why did this happened master? Why did this trooper attack not only a fellow officer but my brother?" Said Kai
"I will figure this out my Friend. For your sake and for the republic. As of this moment this will be a private investigation made by me. As much as the Jedi council needs to know about this incident I want to keep this between us okay. Perhaps what made this trooper commit such a thing can be solved without any outside intervention." I said
I walked over to the two clone commanders to question if they noticed anything different about their comrade before the shooting happened and see if there's anything I can do.
"Commanders Thor and Grey. You two were the only ones who encountered clone trooper Dex before and after the incident. Can you two provide any clues to how he behaved?" I said
"Just after the debrief sir I noticed Dex complain about how he wasn't himself. Almost like he was slipping into a weird side of him. As soon I started to wonder what was going on he somehow came back as if nothing happened. Once the engagement started he was slipping into that weird self again as if he wasn't completely there and next I know of he shot our general. Someone told me he said "Good soldiers follow orders" but I don't know what that even means sir." Said Thor
"In my time serving with my men none of them showed any type of mental breakdown known to me. Have I seen my brothers sometimes second guess an order or try to change something perhaps. But never have I seen anything like this. It was if sir he was entrance to follow some order of some kind." Said Grey
"Following orders? That seems to be an odd order to follow considering what we fighting for. I also noticed he had a small head injury just before the assault began correct?" I said
"Yes sir. Some debris fell off when a AAT fired at us. It missed us by a few feet but debris from the blast hit several troopers, including Dex. He tougher then the rest and took it somewhat well but I don't know what inside of him thought shooting our Jedi officer was a good idea!" Said Grey
"I don't think he had a choice." I said
"You mean someone told him to do it sir? One of our own brothers to turn traitor and gun down an officer?" Said Thor
"No. I think this was something that he was forced to follow. You saw how he felt confused after he shot him. I think there's something inside of him compelling him to follow this particular order to shot Jedi!" I said and I started to walk o ver the medical bed with Dex on the table.
"Has the droids done any type of brain scans on him?" I said
"They have but no results came back with any concrete prove. They ran the test five times and nothing popped up." Said Kai
Perhaps with the help with the force I can try something new. Start the scanning process while I try something. Don't worry I won't hurt him." I said and I put moth hands on both sides of his head and began to repeat a old chant I leaned off from some old religious people I've heard about and wanted to see if it can truly work on this trooper despite none of the troopers lacking any force sensitivity.
"I am one with the force and the force is with me. I am one with the force and the force is with me. I am one with the force and the force is with me. I am one with the force and the force is with me." Many times I said this and the trooper began to speak it with me despite him being asleep and not aware of what's going on. A minute later the scanner picked up an unusual object inside of him and the droids began to operate on the right side of his head to remove the "tumor" from him. What we realize that we found we were all surprised about this. A tumor making him follow a particular order. Then it hit me that this wasn't a tumor. It was some type of control chip.
"Gentlemen. This isn't some tumor. This is an organic chip that can make anyone follow any orders that they program the chip with. Either with a phrase or command. This isn't something that was unique to this trooper. It's with every clone trooper in the Grand army of the Republic! A time bomb that can cause the mass eradication of the Jedi order to who ever possess this order. What I'm proposing as of this moment is to remove all of these chips from our units first and spread the word of a "stander medical check up" for the rest of the troops. It may take a while for everyone to get the message but we must save the republic from this dark plot that this individual plans to do. And most importantly. This information stays between us." I said with urgency in my words.
"I understand sir. Me cole and grey will volunteer to go first to remove these chips from our heads."said Thor
Once the battle was over a day later I ordered my troops and the troops under the command of Kai and zed to under go a medical check up to remove the chips from them unofficially. Officially it was to make sure the troops were good health and had no serious head Injuries. Both commanding clone officers began a secret campaign to inform other clone officers of the republic to do a similar medical procedures to find a "tumor" that can cause an accident within their fellow brothers. For three years the war dragged on with an end in sight but always hammered by death and destruction by both sides. I saw what the chancellor was attempting to do with Anakin and I wanted to save my fellow jedi by switching fate.

What I remember about that night it was somewhat peaceful in the Jedi temple. Knowing that the war was close to being over with the death of General Grievous by Kenobi on utapau and a rumor of a Sith in the republic going to be delt with I decided to find anakin to talk to him about his thoughts. I found him on the Jedi council chamber sitting. Thinking. Confused about what he should do. I decided that I should take fate to my hand and save Anakin from a date worse than death.
"Anakin. I can sense something is disturbing you my friend. Conflict is radiating from you." I said
"I don't know if I should help them or not arrest the chancellor. Regardless if he is a Sith Lord I want his help to save someone I care about." Said Anakin
"Someone you love I presume. I know there's someone within the senate that has your heart and true commitment Anakin. I once had someone who I loved as well. She meant everything to me and I would've left the order had she not left me for someone else. But trust the force Anakin." I said
"What about my former padawan Ahsoka? The Jedi council that I sit on threw her away the moment she was accused of a crime she didn't even do? I was the only one who supported her and never questioned her! I hope her mission is going well." Said Anakin
"From what i heard she captured maul and is transporting him to Coruscant at this moment. She held her own against him and we can truly bring the era of the Sith to an end. Let me go to Master windu and aid him. If anything happens between now and then, take as many Jedi out from the temple as you can and hide my friend. I fear a plot to destroy the Jedi is nearly here. I need you to protect the ones you love with a clear mind. You are our last line of defense. I will be back my friend and help you when this is over." Once I finish that statement I left the council chamber to begin to change fate for the good of the galaxy.
The rest played out as I seen in a vision a long time ago. Windu had Palpatine in his Mercy and I stumbled on it. Both must have been shocked to see me but Palpatine could make this work to his advantage. If he could not get Skywalker he can get me. The with lord shot force lightning towards master Windu and barely reflected it back on the sixth as his face began to slowly deform and scare from the amount of dark side energy that is hitting the sith. Once Sidious stopped his assault I saw he was truly weaken from the amount of pain and suffering that was inflicted on him and was at the mercy of the Jedi master. But I know that fate must continue.
"I'm going to end this once and for all" said Windu
"You can't master! He must stand trail for his role in this war. He is the ultimate puppet master In this. From Naboo to now and even Dooku were pawns in his game. Put him on trial for crimes against the republic." I said
"He has control over the courts and the senate! He's too dangerous to be kept alive!" Said windu a he raised his lightsaber to strike down the Sith Lord I activated mine to cut his hand from his lightsaber and caught it with my free hand struck down the "fallen Jedi" for treason against the republic.
"What have I done?!" As I fell to my knees wondering what I have done. I truly done the impossible and killed a close friend of mine but also saved the chancellor from being killed in my eyes. While Sidious wanted Anakin he can make use of me In more ways possible. I swore loyalty to my new Sith master and accept the title of Darth Vader. But I would personally request that I would have another to the outside between us as "Starkiller".
"Very well my apprentice. Rise lord Vader. Because you were the only witness to this Jedi plot. I believe when the Jedi find out what has transpired they will kill us. Along with the Senators to secure their hold of this republic."Said Palpatine
"I agree. The Jedi next move will be against the senate." I said
"Every single Jedi is now an enemy to the republic! We must catch them off balance and quickly as they are like rats in the sewer. If they are not destroyed it will be civil war without end. Do what must be done Lord Vader! Do not hesitate! Show no mercy! Only then Will you have the strength in The dark side of the force to accomplish your dreams. Said Sidious.
"I understand master. The Jedi in the temple will be my first target to hit. But what about the Jedi in the known galaxy. Surly you know it will be difficult to hunt them down. And there's a rumor that clones have been removing a chip from their heads? Is this true master." I said to make it seem that what I discovered years ago was just a rumor. Apparently Sidious was one step ahead and decided to have a secret clone army Solely loyal to him and mid future empire.
"Their betrayal will dealt with. I have made a new clone army in secret in case something like this happened. They will wear a pure black armor and you'll have control over these new clones and help you in the Jedi temple. They are also scattered across the galaxy acting as small hit squads for me. After you killed the Jedi in the temple go to the Mustafar system, wipe out viceroy Gunnrey and the rest of the separatist council there. Once more the Sith will rule the Galaxy and. We shall have peace." Said Sidious as a small smile formed around his deformed face as he prepares to enact his secret plan to end the Jedi once and for all.
And that's the end of the prologue. I wanted to set up the story and get everything ready for the main course and what to see. It will be similar to what Moritaka1900 created but also different since this will be a AU sine the effects of this prologue. This is chaoskeeten and I will see you in the beginning of this new story
