I run around a garden that's in the middle of an atrium. The tall hedges form a bit of a maze, decorated with pink and white flowers. Close behind me runs a boy with crimson hair that spikes up, hanging low just above his eyes. Half of his hair fades into white from his roots. We laugh as we make our way toward the small pond in the middle of the garden. I crouch just at the edge of the pond, peering down at my reflection. The boy also crouches next to me as he stares at his reflection too. An orange fish swims by, causing a ripple effect to our reflections.

"You've got a leaf in your hair," the boy notices.

"Hm?" I turn to him.

He reaches for the leaf in my white hair, plucking it out. I stare at him with my golden eyes in wonder as he meets my gaze with his turquoise eyes. Those lidded eyes of his always seem so fascinated when he stares at me. He gives me a soft smile which makes me lightly blush.

"One day, I'm gonna marry you," he declares.

I suddenly open my eyes, peering through the dimly lit bedroom. I blink a few times before turning to my nightstand. The clock reads 6:45am. Fifteen minutes before my alarm goes off. It happens frequently. I get up from my bed and fix the sheets. After that, I make my way to my bathroom, turning on the warm water in the walk-in shower. Once I've stripped and entered, I stand under the nozzle, leaning my hand against the tile wall. Steam fills the bathroom as I stand there in silence, my eyes lowered. I eventually finish showering and make my way back to my bedroom and get dressed. My alarm finally goes off at 7am. I shut it off and head to the wide window, pushing the grey curtains aside and sliding the window open . The sun greets me with its bright, warm rays. I take in a deep breath of fresh air as the wind flutters my white shoulder-length hair. The sound of the city bustling has already begun as we enjoy the month of May.

"Another day," I let out a hopeful smile.

I'm working at my desk, typing some documents on my computer. I reach for my cup of water to my right as I finish up.

"Did you hear about Endeavor's son?" Onima speaks.

"Yeah, he got second place in the U.A. Sports Festival," Kido replies.

"I wonder how Endeavor is handling it."

"Especially now that his son's gotta pick an agency to intern at. I wonder where he'll go."

After overhearing their conversation, I sit in thought. I then glance over at the time on my computer and see that it's already 5pm. I shut my computer down, gather my belongings and head to change out of my hero suit in the ladies' locker room.

I'm sitting at a small round table, staring out through the large glass window at the front of a cafe.

"Hey, Akira," a young woman sitting across from me says.

I snap out of my thoughts and turn my eyes to her.

"Hm?" I blink.

"You're doing it again," she says. "You're spaced out."

"Sorry, Fuyumi," I give her an apologetic smile. "It's just...I had that dream again."

"With Touya, huh?"

Fuyumi stares at me for a moment as she sees the everlasting pain in my golden eyes.

"I'm sorry," she places her hand over mine on the table. "I know he really meant those words."

"I know…" I lower my gaze. "Anyway, how's Shoto doing after the U.A. Sports Festival?"

"He's recovering well the past couple of days since it ended, thankfully."

"How's Enji taking it?"

"He's been obsessing over the fact that Shoto finally used his fire quirk."

"No surprise, I suppose."

"You didn't see my dad at his agency today?"

"No, I was pretty busy with paperwork and patrol. Haven't seen him since yesterday."

Fuyumi looks down in thought.

"What's up?" I ask.

"Shoto has finally used his fire quirk," Fuyumi replies. "I only hope this is a sign he and my dad will make amends in the future."

"Let's hope," I give her a soft smile.

Fuyumi returns the hopeful smile.

"How was your day at work?" I ask.

"The kids in my class are lovely as always," Fuyumi says.

"They always bring joy to you."

"They do. Thank you for doing me the favor of visiting my class as a pro hero for Career Day next week."

"Of course! I'm looking forward to it."

"I'm sure my students will be thrilled to know you're coming."

I nod with a smile. Fuyumi then looks at her watch and sees it's almost 7pm.

"I better get going," Fuyumi says. "I still have some work to grade for my class."

"Yeah, I gotta finish up some stuff too," I reply. "I don't want Enji coming after me."

We both lightly laugh.

"Thanks again for joining me for some tea," Fuyumi says. "I know sometimes life gets us super busy."

"No problem," I respond. "I do get rather lonely."

"Well, just remember, you're practically family to us. So don't hesitate to reach out for some company. Everyone at home is always glad to have you over anytime."

"I know," I give her a warm smile.

I've taken a brisk shower after working out at my apartment building's gym. I'm now sitting on my bed, ready to sleep.

"Finally, time for bed," I sigh.

I turn to the clock on my nightstand and see that it's 10:23pm.

"Another night," I say.

I switch the lamp on my nightstand off and lay down under the blankets.
