Owlkit started up at Twigbramble desperately "Please can Me,Venomkit and Calfkit go outside,we've opened our eyes" She pleaded with her mother. Twigbramble let out a small sigh "I suppose so,are Antlerkit,Curlkit and Snakekit outside as well?". Owlkit nodded vigorously,The other three kits were playing moss ball outside the nursery. Her mothers Silver pelt shone in the sunlight "Ok you may go outside,but stay with them" she nodded to the three kits playing outside the nursery. Owlkit let out a yelp of joy as she sped out of the den, her littermates not far behind. Owlkit stopped just in front of Snakekit,who let out a yelp of surprise. Owlkit started at Snakekit with large pleading eyes "Can we play?" she nodded and Owlkit let out a little jump "Catch!" yowled Antlerkit. Owlkit dived for the moss,catching it just in time "looks like my kits are finally out of the nursery. Owlkit turned around, Her father,Leafhollow was standing behind her. Warmth filled his gaze as he looked at all three of his kits. He turned to Antlerkit "Do you know when your apprentice ceremony is?" He asked the sand colored kit. Antlerkit nodded "tomorrow" He replied, Leafhollow sighed "if only Cloudcactus was here". Cloudcactus,who was Flywhiskers mate and Antlerkit,Snakekit and Curlkits father Had died just before the kits were born. Suddenly a cat pounced at Owlkit, she let out a yowl of surprise. The cat had pinned her down,she blinked open her eyes only to see Venomkit standing on top of her. He had a look of triumph on his face " A warrior is never distracted! He purred as her staggered off of Owlkit.
