A/N: Hi there! Allow me to introduce myself: I'm Atlandis and this is my new story "Unsinkable love". As you may have guessed, it is a Titanic AU with Marvel characters with Steve and Bucky as the main protagonists. Before you start reading, I would like to give you some information about this story that I think are pretty important.

First: this IS NOT a mere copy of James Cameron's Titanic, with Steve and Bucky taking the place of Jack and Rose. From the very first chapter you will immediately realize this is a whole different story. I wanted to create something new, so people wouldn't be reading a plot they already know with just different character names.

Second: although the story's obviously based on things that really happened, you should never forget you're reading a fanfiction, which means this work won't always be historically accurate. Many Marvel characters will "play" the role of historical people who really existed. For example Thomas Andrews will be "played" by Howard Stark, Margaret Brown by Peggy Carter, Captain Smith by Chester Phillips and so on. Once again I remind you this is a fanfiction, so the character's actions on this story won't always be based on the actions of the real people.

Finally, I apologize in advance for any spelling/grammar mistake. I try my best but English is not my mother language.

Thank you so much, hope you enjoy it. Of course comments and suggestions, both positive or negative, are welcomed.

You won't find the story I'm about to tell you on a book. Because it has never been told before. Not from my point of view, at least.

I was born in a time where technology and progress seemed to have no limits. Just like mankind's potentials. It was in the spirit of that age that R.M.S. Titanic was built.

Symbol of man's power. A challenge to Nature. Fearless, colossal and magnificent. Which was supposed to show us all the path of an era of limitless prosperity. A prosperity, it was said, nothing could stop.

I boarded Titanic in 1912, but my first encounter with that ship happened way before that day. Back then I had no idea Titanic would change my life. I had no idea it would lead me to HIM. And, despite everything that has happened, I am incredibly grateful for that.

They say Titanic was the ship of dreams. Whether that is true or not in the end, you'll have to decide for yourself.

But the story I want to tell you IS true.

I was there.

And despite all the years that have passed, I remember it all.

So listen carefully, because one single event can change history. Love changes life.

A/N: So, this is just a small prologue. The real first chapter will come soon. Thank you for reading, and do not forget to tell what you think with a review. See you soon :)
