Happy 2012! Gosh, I still remember last New Year's! Time sure does fly . . . now on with the story!
Marrie opened her front door and Bonnie ran in, hugging all the furniture.
"I missed you Couch! And you too, fake dog statue!" she squealed. Marrie rolled her eyes before shutting the door and walking over to the kitchen.
"Do you want diner?" she called. Bonnie nodded and ran over, sitting on her high chair and waiting patiently for Marrie to finish the Mac-and-Cheese.
Marrie waited for the water boil, her thought running to a couple hours ago. It was daytime, just like Marrie had planned, so Lissa and everybody were either asleep or on guard. She had dragged Bonnie to the closest guard, who was luckily just about to leave in his car, and had her compel the man to give them a ride home. Easy. They had just gotten home when the sun went down, which meant they were hours away from the Hotel. At the moment, Marrie was grateful that Bonnie had inherited the compulsion from her father.
"Yum!" Bonnie yelled as Marrie sat the yellow substance in front of her.
"Yeah, yum." Marrie grumbled. Bonnie just giggled before inhaling her food. Marrie smiled and remembered when Bonnie was little. How she would just inhale everything edible.
"Mommy? When can I see Rhea again? She my new best friend." Bonnie poked Marrie's arm with her spoon. Marrie sighed.
"Baby, you're never going to see them again. It was only for today." She whispered. Bonnie looked down.
"Oh."
"Time for bed. It's been a long day." Marrie got up and grabbed Bonnie's bowl and put it in the sink.
"But it just got dark!" Bonnie complained but she still got up and shuffled into her room. Marrie rolled her eyes and tucked her in before walking into her bed. She got under the covers and hid her neck under them. Tears rolled down her cheeks, the day's actions coming back to her. Dimitri was okay. Her baby daddy, her first love, he was okay and breathing. That just made her day. He looked the exact way Marrie had last seen him, beautiful, but there was an emotion in his eyes she couldn't place.
Seeing him though, that sparked a fire in Marrie. She wanted to train again and not rely on the Wards any- THE WARDS! Marrie jumped out of bed and bolted to the front door and out of the house. As soon as she stepped outside she was pushed against the wall with a hand holding her throat. A man, the owner of the hand, laughed. All Marrie could see was his red eyes.
"I didn't think it would be this easy," he shook his head and motioned to the now wide opened door. Three more Strigoi appeared and walked inside. "I mean, you have a very valuable blood bag in your house. Didn't think you would forget to change your Wards."
"You'll die!" Marrie spat just as one of the Strigoi came out with a crying and fighting Bonnie in its hands.
"Mommy!" she screamed. Marrie fought harder but the man held her tighter.
"Nah ah. You lost." He smirked before suddenly disappearing, along with Bonnie and the Strigoi.
"No!" she ran forward but the other two Strigoi grabbed her and threw her against the wall.
"I want her first!" the girl yelled.
"No, I am older which means I have her first!" the other woman snarled.
"None of you get her first." A new voice growled before suddenly the two Strigoi were on the floor, dead. Marrie didn't look at her savoir, she ran straight forward but someone grabbed her waist and pulled her back.
"NO! BONNIE!" She fought and kicked, her screaming becoming louder and then suddenly Dimitri appeared in her vision. Dimitri, he was her savoir. But Marrie couldn't think of anything. All she could see was Bonnie's terrified eyes, her baby!
"Roza! Roza, calm down!" Dimitri tried to soothe Rose but she was fighting harder and harder. He had just drove up as the two Strigoi threw Rose against the wall, they must have been young since they hadn't heard him running up the steps.
"My baby!" she sobbed, finally giving up and leaning against his chest. Sobs racked her body as she clutched his arm tightly. "They took my baby!"
Dimitri felt his heart fall. Sweet little Bonnie was gone. There was nothing he could do to help. He felt useless. Lissa jumped out of the car, against Dimitri's wishes, and ran over to them. She brought Rose into her arms and hugged her tightly.
"My baby!" Rose kept sobbing over and over again.
Okay, so there's chapter 8! I got pictures of Bonnie as a baby( For future chapters) and what she looks like now, their house, their rooms, and their kitchen and living room.
