"She's mine?" he whispered, his eyes wide. Dimitri couldn't believe it. It all made sense now.

Bonnie Olena. Rose had named their daughter after his mother. Bonnie. What did her name stand for? Was she happy? Did she hate him because he cursed her to be different?

"Rose, I . . . I can't believe it." He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. He's always wanted kids, a big happy family like his own but he never thought that he could have it with Rose, but . . . he didn't want it the way it came. He cursed Bonnie.

"Well believe it! Bonnie needs her father and right now you're acting like a stunned scientist." Rose snarled at him.

He looked around to see Bonnie looking up at him with wide eyes. When she noticed she had his attention, she smiled, "You're my daddy? Are we going to go camping? What about to Disneyland? Mommy never takes me there. Oh! Do I have a grandma? I always wanted a grandma . . ."

He blinked. Bonnie wanted him. She wanted him as her father, and that encouraged him. He smiled down at her, "Of course you have a grandma. You'll go see her soon."

"Really?" Rose and Bonnie asked at the same time.

"Yes, really." He picked Bonnie up and hugged her.

He could do this, he could be the father she needed. And the man Rose needed. Rose.

He looked up to see her smiling at him as she cried silently. He smiled at her and brought her into a hug. She clutched him tightly, burying her face into his chest.

"Don't cry mama. We got daddy now." Bonnie patted her head with a smile on her face.

Yes, they got daddy now. And he wasn't going anywhere.

Sorry for the short chapter! This was just a filler, I can't really sit down and take a moment to write since I got a little puppy who thinks that trying to attack the furniture is cool ;) So, I'll try to update tomorrow.
