In all honesty, Naruto was scared, he was 9 years old and about to do the Genin Exam for the first time, ever. Naruto had everything prepared for from the techniques, even the clone though not the basic variation as no matter how much Naruto tried he could never get the technique down.

Everywhere around Naruto were kids, 3 years his senior but that didn't scare Naruto but the fact that they most likely could have complete this exam before, meant that it was hard. As some Shinobi went in and went out. Naruto was scared out of his mind, he had no idea what to think would happen if he failed the exam the first time.

-Flashback-

First was the written test which Naruto tried his hardest but clearly didn't get the best grade. However Naruto did get enough to pass the written exam.

Naruto had practiced for hours to get his kunai throwing up to scratch and he had. They gave Naruto 10 sharp kunai and 9 hit the target with one going off course. 4 had hit the bullseye.

"Huh, well you pass the shuriken test," said the Chunin. After this they moved onto the next test which was taijutsu.

"Begin!" shouted the instructer as Naruto rushed forward. The instructer expected a kick or a punch but Naruto did neither. Naruto ran straight at the man and jumped at the Chunin head butting him to the ground. Naruto then used all of his strength to punch and kick the man who was shocked but quickly got over it before pushing Naruto off.

"You pass, barely," said the man as he walked away annoyed that he got jumped by a brat, especially that brat. This has lead to where they are now.

-Flash back end-

Inside he found Naruto's friend and older brother figure, Iruke Umino sitting at a desk with another Chunin. Naruto wondered who had taken over the class and guessed that it was most likely Mizuki, another Chunin that Naruto had met.

"Naruto what are you doing here?" asked Iruka.

"I'm taking the graduation test, Iruka-sensei," said Naruto excitedly but nervous.

"Alright, since we are here, let's start with a transformation," said Iruka. Naruto did the hand-seal and transformed with smoke. In it was a pretty, blond naked girl with smoke covering her sensitive parts. Iruka promptly had a nose-bleed and fell over as the smoke dissipated. The Chunin assisting Iruka let out a laugh.

"Like it? Meet the sexy technique, my personal creation!" exclaimed Naruto, excitedly. Iruka sighed as he got up.

"Take this seriously!" shouted Iruka as he bonked Naruto on the head.

"Now Naruto, substitute yourself with that chair," ordered Iruka as he pointed to the chair on the right. Naruto did so effortlessly as these techniques had been mastered by Naruto, in hopes of passing this exam.

"Okay, finally, I want you to do the clone technique," said Iruka. Naruto nodded and suddenly remembered something.

-Flashback 1 year and multiple months before a certain incident-

Naruto was practising his writing as he was told to do, he had to improve if he ever wanted to pass the writing section of the exam for Genin, he was sitting on a tree when he heard some voices in the training ground next to him. Naruto of course went to investigate.

"Okay, since Hokage-sama has allowed me, I can show you the shadow clone technique," said a white-haired Anbu wearing a dog mask to a tiger-masked Anbu, Naruto of course was sad as he could never get the shadow clone down, "the shadow clone technique allows the person to make a physical copy of themselves, it takes large reserves and much less chakra control than a normal academy clone, it splits one's chakra evenly among the clones."

Naruto now was listening if he could get this technique down than he would be golden. He copied down the man's words as he had said them, listening everything the man said.

"Now to do the technique you will have to do..." said the Anbu as Naruto wrote down the hand signs for the shadow clone technique.

"If you would like to do the multi-shadow clone technique..." continued the Anbu. Naruto had everything written down and went back to his house to practice the new clone technique he found.

-Flash back end-

"Multi Shadow clone technique!" shouted Naruto as both Iruka and the Chunin both looked shocked as Naruto produced four physical clones, in a flash of smoke.

"So do I pass?" asked Naruto as he dispelled the clones. Iruka quickly got over his shock and took Naruto to see the Hokage. The Assistant saw the two of them and lead them to Sarutobi who was doing paperwork. Iruka explained everything to which Sarutobi himself grew shocked before calming down.

"Please explain everything, Naruto," said Sarutobi as Naruto did just that. By the end of Hiruzen felt a head ache come on.

"So let me understand this," said Hiruzen Sarutobi as he felt a head ache come on due to his surrogate grandson who had some how mastered a difficult technique that he shouldn't have even known about "you had heard Dog teach Tiger the shadow clone technique so you copied down everything he said word for word in hopes that you could use it to pass the Genin Exam?"

Suddenly a blond haired man appeared that looked quite a bit like Ino.

"Iniochi could you do a mind transmission for me?" asked Sarutobi.

"What am I looking for?" asked the Yamanaka head.

"How Naruto learnt the shadow clone technique," said Sarutobi. If Iniochi was shocked, he didn't show it and did as ordered placing his hand on Naruto head and did the technique. Naruto just sat there confused, wondering what was going as the weird man had a hand on this head. Iniochi let go of Naruto a few minutes later.

"Naruto learnt the shadow clone technique by finding Kakashi Hatake teaching an Anbu, Naruto listened and copied down what Kakashi said, Naruto then went home and spent two hours, learning both variation of the technique," said Iniochi "he himself didn't know that the technique was forbidden and planned to surprise Iruka with the technique and the Genin test."

"So he is innocent?" asked Iruka.

"Indeed," said Iniochi.

"So does that mean I pass?" asked Naruto.

"Well your grades have been checked and you did well enough to pass," said Iruka with a hand on chin "so yes, I guess you did, here."

Iruka handed Naruto a forehead protector to which Naruto smiled as he decided to wear it infront of them. Naruto put it on and Sarutobi and Iniochi's eyes grew wide. Naruto looked exactly like his father, it was shocking, Iniochi had met Minato and Kushina, having not known them personally but it was quite obvious if you look at the facts, of who Kushina's husband was and all those facts.

"Well how do I look?" asked Naruto, excitedly.

"Nice, Naruto, nice," said Iruka as he used his hand to ruffle Naruto's hair, then Iruka realized something.

"Oh no," said Iruka with a haunted look.

"What?" asked Iniochi.

"Naruto passed 3 years before everyone else," said Iruka "Imagine what will happen when they found out he passed, they might take the exams early themselves, or might constantly be annoying me."

"Then I do suggest you don't tell them, Iruka," said Sarutobi humourosly.

"Can we get Ramen?" asked Naruto.

"Sure, may I take my leave, Lord Hokage?" asked Iruka turning back to the Hokage.

"Yes Iruka you may," said Sarutobi as Iruka bowed before grabbing Naruto to get ramen.

"I wonder what team he will be on?" asked Iniochi.

"Indeed," said Sarutobi "Indeed."
