Chapter 1: Scorpion of the Shirai Ryu

In the forest, under the warm sunlight of the afternoon stand a man- a ninja in his yellow uniform consists of a bright yellow sleeve attire with two shoulder plates made of somekind of very durable steel. He wears a pair of steel gloves with chains attached to a kunai and a motor in each glove. A katana and a tanto blade sheathed on his hip. He wears a long black pants and a pair of brown boots.

His name is Hanzo Hasashi.

Hanzo was walking on a dirt road in a middle of the forest until he heard the leaves rustling behind him. The ninja heard the sound of familliar footsteps and immediately realise who it was.

He quickly step to the left to dodge and to catch a red blur with hands. Hanzo then pick up what seems to be a 5-year-old silver eyed girl who was wearing a red scarf and a white shirt with a black pants and boots. She was giggling happily.

"Hello there little Ruby"he stated. Ruby responded by smiling and said.

"I will catch you off guard one day, dad!"

"Oh, I'm sure you will. One day" The ninja replied.

He then put little Ruby down on the ground and held her small hand and said " You had fun trying to ambush me ?". She nodded.

"Mmmhm"

"Well then" he said, smiling to the young girl "I will teach you how to ambush me when you got older".

The little girl squealed in joy and asked " Really!?"

"Yes, really." Hanzo stated " but now, we should be heading home because the sun is about to set and I do not want to miss dinner"

" Okay!" she said in a very happy tone.

After about 30 minutes of walking, Hanzo started to realise something. They haven't met a single Shirai Ryu patrol, which made him nervous because this place is usually heavily guarded, which could only mean that something had happened.

When they reached the village, he told his daughter to stay close. She didn't understand why but she immediately do what he told her after hearing how serious her father sound. The village was quiet, too quiet. Hanzo looked around and saw nobody, nobody but a few Beowolves.

He quickly hid behind one of the house and use his hand to cover Ruby's mouth. The girl was definitely trembling after seeing the wolf-like creatures and it seems to be attracting them. Hanzo has so many questions such as 'How did the Grimm get in here? Where are the guards? What happened to them? How many had manage to survived the attack? When did the Grim attacked?'

But his objective right now is to find his wife- Summer Rose and protect his little daughter. The yelllow ninja was startled by the growl of the Beowolves that has found them.

He quickly put on his hood and his mask (MK 11 Shirai Ryu mask) and use his left elbow to hit the Beowolf that was jumping torward him and then he use his tanto knife to slice it's throat and kicked it torwards the other Beowolves, causing them to fall over each other.

He then ran in the opposite direction, picking terrified Ruby up on a piggie back ride and started jumping the crates to get on the roof to lose the monsters. The Grimm followed them immediately but their speed was no match to the ninja. After a short while, the Grimm lost track of the two and ran in dfferent directions.

After closing the door lightly in order to not cause any unneccessary attention, Hanzo then turned around to see his daughter standing as still as a statue and realise the smell of blood. He then look at the gruesome scene.

There was blood all over the floor. He saw a family of three people lying unconcious on the puddle of their own blood. The mother's body was beyond reconisable and the father's guts was all over the floor. There are many wounds on their body from what seems to be a double bladed weapon and instead of Grimm's clawmark.

This was not a simple Grimm's attack, it was an assasination performed by a group of unknown individuals. Then, fear crept into his mind. He has to find Summer before it is too late, before the assassins found her.

Hanzo looked at Ruby, who was vomiting anything and everything that's left in her stomach. Seeing his daughter's tearys silver eyes, he decided that it is best to cover her eyes with his hand and pick her up with the other hand. He is also very worried about his wife's safety and he hoped that she is safe.

Outside of the house, dozens of Beowolves and Ursas and a giant King Taijitu were waiting to burst inside to find the whoever that has negative emotions hiding in that house.

When they broke down the door, they found nothing, nobody inside that house. Hanzo had already ran to his house with his little Rose before they broke into that house.

When he got inside his house ,he put Ruby down and started calling for his wife" Summer! SUMMER! Where are you!? It's me! Hanzo-"

The ninja stopped dead in his track when he saw Summer's lifeless corpse. Apparently, Ruby saw her too. The little Rose witnessed her dead mother lying on the floor as she fell on her knees and started crying loudly.

"Mom? *sob* MOM! *sob sob* Mom... Wake up *sob* please wake up...*sob* I *sob* promise I'll behave...*sob* please...mom wake up*sob*"

Hanzo could nothing but hug his little daughter from behind. He gripped her tightly and then he slowly let her go as he tried to hold back his tears. His eyes were shut tightly as he feel the rage. He was angry for not being able to protect his people, his wife, and his daughter from a memory that will scarred her for the rest of her life. While he was being engulf by rage, a few Beowolves sneaked behind him, attempting to kill him.

Before they could do anything, Hanzo's eyes shot open. But now, his pupils are gone and they are replaced by burning fire. Hanzo has become the very thing his enemies feared for a long time. He has turned back into "The Hellfire Scorpion".
