The toad elder left the room, Shizune approaches her mentor.
"Milady?", she asks uncertainly.
The woman looks at her blankly but for those who know her well, they know well enough that she's close enough to breakdown.
" Get out. Just leave the urgent paperwork here, the others just put them on the box at the corner of the room." she says dismissing her.
She does as she's told and leaves, along with the ANBU who thought it wise to leave her be.
'Well you're alone now.' the hokage thinks to herself. And lets out the tears, she was holding back.
Shizune does nothing but listen from her place outside the office. Working for the sannin for years gives her the perk to learn something others don't.
Contrary to popular belief, the toad sage is not just a perv but he's quite good with spying on people, especially those who wants their dirty deeds kept secret. She caught him one time outside the hokage's bedroom door, almost asleep to others but actually just pretending. It came in handy and he caught the assassins sent by Danzo to kill the hokage. Shizune dealt with them and begged him to teach her some jutsu. And one of them is the one that hides her chakra signature and it also enables her to completely blend into the shadows.
" She finally let it out huh.", the toad elder appears in front of her.
" Lord Fukusaku, how long have you been there?"
" Since she dismissed you. I have to say he taught you well."
She smiles at the elder.
" Thank you. I worry for her you know, she's finally got the courage to tell him how she feels but only for him to get taken away from her."
He sighs.
" It's devastating for this to happen to them but there's nothing we can do other than be there for her. He always makes sure she's taken care of but now you have to do it. You did fine all those years that she left this village I'm sure you'll manage and if you need help you can get Naruto to summon me."
" Thank you."
The elder vanish and she's left alone. The sobs has stopped and she enter the room. The hokage is asleep, tear tracks running down her face. She covers her with the blanket kept on the back of her mentor's chair.
'I'm here for you milady.'

A/N: I'm a fan of Jiraiya and Tsunade pairing. Might change the description if I get more ideas but for now, this is the only chapter. Might add more with different pairings and such.
