Hitsugaya's Rampage

"Gah.. Damnit where in the hell is it?" Hitsugaya yells, he stuns Unohana when he curses… he almost NEVER curses

"Captain Hitsugaya calm down please" Unohana says in a stern tone

"Not until I find it!" he glares back at her, then starts knocking over things again

"Find what?" Unohana asks

"HYOURINMARU" he yells out at her

Unohana is taken aback at the statement "Toushiro…" she says in her normal tone

"Yeah… that's what I.."

"TAICHO!" Matsumoto bursts in

"Sorry Captain Unohana for Matsumoto-san's rude entrance" Isane says while kneeling

"It's no problem Isane, I understand why she burst in, now can you go call Ikkaku to come into my office… I want to have a few words with him…" she looks dead serious

"Hai" Isane takes a kneel and leaves

"What happened to Captain Hitsugaya, Unohana taicho?" Matsumoto asked in a confused and worried tone, just then she dodges a chair being thrown towards her

"It's just that he can't find Hyourinmaru… except for one thing… Hyourinmaru is laying on his bed…" Unohana is puzzled

"But what does he mean he can't find Hyourinmaru…" Matsumoto asks

"I don't know exactly Rangiku" Unohana says

"HEY!.. aren't you guys listening to me?" Hitsugaya says out of annoyance

"Sorry, captain Hitsugaya, I didn't hear you…" Matsumoto looks down, sadness in her eyes… she didn't even hear him?

It's not your fault… Old hag…

"Shut up Haineko…"

Well.. it kind of is.. but that's probably because you've always tuned him out when he says stuff to you… well… most of the time…

"haineko…" she growls in her head

What? It's not my fault you don't listen… oh and by the way… he's asking you to ask me where Hyourinmaru is… just to let cha know..

"Quite frankly captain, I don't know where he is… you really pissed him off a few weeks ago" Matsumoto says

Hitsugaya is shocked that she was actually listening (or so he thought) "Oi, Matsumoto.. what about Haineko? Can she detect where he is?"

Nope.. he should know that even I can't find Hyourinmaru when he's hiding…

"she says that she even she can't find him when he's hiding.. you should know that… try going into your inner world and see if you can find him flying somewhere or what not… he's probably still upset about the whole tiny dragon thing…" Matsumoto stifles a chuckle when she thinks of that thought

"Tiny dragon thing?" Unohana says curiously

"Long story…" Matsumoto and Hitsugaya say at the same time, both of them start to blush

"your right…" Hitsugaya says

A few hours later

Hitsugaya still hasn't had any luck trying to find Hyourinmaru in his inner world, so he decides to come back into the real world

"Unohana taicho… may I stay here a little while longer?"

"Sure… stay as long as you need to, if you need me.. I'll be talking with Ikkaku…" she has a calm expression on her face

Unohana leaves

"Captain, what do you want me to do?" Matsumoto asks, seeing that hes back to the real world

"Do paperwork" He answers immediately

"Taicho… paperwork is so boring… why don't you and I take a break and go to the world of the living when your out of here, of course.. after you find Hyourinmaru" Matsumoto smiles brightly

"No Matsumoto, I can't leave because of all the paperwork, and Hyourinmaru…" Hitsugaya sighs, what did he do to deserve being given the silent treatment by his own zanpakuto.

"What do you want me in here for Unohana taicho?" Ikkaku asks out of annoyance.. he should be fighting… not with the 4th squads' captain

"It's about you fighting constantly…" she says calmly

"Like that's a surprise.." he scoffs "I always fight…"

"I understand that, but it's just that you've been fighting others so hard that most of the beds are taken up by your division" Unohana looks displeased

"So?... I can't help that their weaker than shit, I'm trying to find a good opponent that I can have fun with… and Cap'n Zaraki… no way in hell would I be able to even cut him, so no use trying to go up against him… I made that mistake when I first joined this squad" he grumbles

Unohana sighs

"Look, instead of talking to me, why don't you worry about healing my comrades so I can fight them again… that way there is less beds taken up by my division…" he smiles and nods thinking it's a great plan…

"I would, but you are the one whose causing all of this…" she smiles her trademark creepy smile "and I know you WILL stop fighting for a while until most of your division is back.. right?"

He chuckles nervously and nods his head quickly "well if that's all there is to talk about then… may I leave?"

Her smile goes back to normal "you may… just don't fight for a while…"

"Fine…."he bows and leaves

Unohana sighs and shakes her head disapprovingly "why must the 11th division fight so much… it would be heaven if none of them were in the ward… Oh… better check on Hitsugaya taicho and Matsumoto…" she grabs her file of Hitsugaya and she walks down to the private captains ward

A/N This conversation is happening while Unohana is talking to Ikkaku

"Matsumoto…"

She turns around "Yes captain?" she tilts her head

"I…I'm sorry" he sits up and lowers his head

"About what Captain?" she replies

"About all of this… me getting my but kicked and all…" he looks up at her with truly sorrowful eyes

"Taicho" she says quietly, she then walks up to him and sits on the bed next to him, "Taicho there is no need to apologize to me what-so-ever, so don't worry about it… but if it will make you feel better I accept your apology" she places a finger under his chin and turns his head up and around to face him with her eyes looking into his, her eyes look truly sincere

Hitsugaya smiles

Matsumoto leans a little closer to his face, her heart is beating wildly

"Uh.. uh.. Matsumoto what are you doing?" he asks, while his heart too is beating fast

"Why do you want to know?" she smiles

"Umm.." he blushes when he thinks about her doing something to him… he thinks, no.. must not think that way Toshiro... get your head out of the gutter

"umm… because I'm your captain, that's why" he says in a semi-confident way, their faces mere inches apart

"tell me taicho… what do you like most about me?" she asks quietly

He is taken back by the abrupt question… "Umm.. Matsumoto, don't you think I should be looking for Hyourinmaru?" he nervously says

She looks displeased "so close" she thinks

"Oh yeah.. that's right.. well physically he's right next to you.. but he's in your inner world… somewhere, I'm sure of it.. because its not like he can just manifest himself outside of your inner world like.." she snaps her fingers "that"

He ignores the last few words and closes his eyes, trying to calm himself down so that he can go into his inner world again, Matsumoto realizes this so she bows and takes her leave… but she picks up her captain's zanpakuto and places it in front of him… after she does this she blushes a deep shade of red and blushes profusely when she thinks about kissing him, so she looks around and sees no ones there and…she kisses him on the… cheek

A/N sorry.. I couldn't let her kiss him while he's in his inner world. Don't hate me because of it…

His inner world is composed of dead trees (like in winter) snow covered ground, and ice underneath all of the snow, even though the sun is high in the sky, clouds cover up the sun so it looks really dark, it is also snowing heavily, no wind so its not a blizzard but just snowing heavily.

"Hyourinmaru… where are you?" he yells

Nothing

"Hyourinmaru… I know your still upset, but Please talk to me…"

Silence

"Do I have to tell the whole Gotei 13 about the little discussion that we had earlier?"

I'm here master… he says out of fear, who knew the greatest ice/snow type zanpakuto would be afraid of Toushiro, but he is still unable to be seen by Toushiro

Hitsugaya smiles A/N I wonder what that little discussion was about…

What do you want boy?

"I came in here because I'm worried sick about you… heck I'm in the 4th division as we speak… of course I was rampaging and I will probably have to pay for damaging her property but still…" he smiles weakly

Silence

"I also came here to apologize to you… I am truly sorry about that "image" of you and if you could accept it, that would be great.."

Hmm… well… I guess I was a little too hard on you master…

"A little… try more of a lot… well I shouldn't complain too badly since you did lend me your powers against… "him"… he curses under his breath

Why did you go against him.. you knew you couldn't handle him… why?

"Because.. it… it was to protect Rangiku" he uses her informal name

Ahhhh.. I see, still have a crush on

"No" he shakes his hands back and forth dismissing the previous comment "nothing like that" he blushes "its just because she's my subordinate and captains need to protect their subordinates…" he says quickly

Mhm… ok whatever master… Hyourinmaru chuckles you and I both know that I can hear your thoughts... so why don't you just confess to her… she's bound to love you back.. I mean who wouldn't want their "cute little taicho" he chuckles some more

"Hyourinmaru" he sounds pissed… but then stops "Hyourinmaru … did you feel that?"

Yes master I did… seems she really does like you…

Hitsugaya blushes profusely "well.. I guess… no.. I can't confess to her yet… I still don't know if she actually likes me or not…

Well, no use just sitting in here, you've found me… now go to her… she was most likely scared of what you were doing when she first felt your reitsu flaring up…

"Hai… goodbye Hyourinmaru, see you later" Hitsugaya closes his eyes
