Hello all, I'm back… sorry if I haven't updated in a while.. allergies suck.. so I haven't been feeling much up to writing.. so if this chapter sucks, blame it on my allergies… Anyways, Hope you all like it! Please vote in the poll its regarding pairings!

Hitsugaya's Grandmother

"Toushiro?" Rangiku says with a worried tone.. her captain has been walking away from Seireitei for quite some time now

"Yes Rangiku?"

"Umm.. why are we heading away from Seireitei?"

He stops and turns around and gives her a cold glare, she chuckles nervously

He tilts his head and furrows his brows in confusion

"never mind.. just keep walking taicho…" she smiles

He nods and starts to walk once more

About 5 minutes later hail starts to fall from the sky, hitting Rangiku right on the head

"Ouch" she says, rubbing her head

Toushiro instantly turns around "You ok Rangiku?"

"Hai… just a piece of hail fell and hit me on the head…"

"Don't worry.. were almost there…"

He is walking towards where he grew up… his grandma's house

"Toushiro.. why are we.."

"Shhh…" Toushiro interrupts her

She shuts up as Toushiro is heading for his grandma's door… he is careful to seal away his reitsu so he doesn't harm her

"Grandma?" he knocks on the door gently

His grandmother opens the door and smiles a warm smile "Toushiro, my boy… what are you doing out here?"

"Well me and my subordinate wanted to come here for the night since we were over around here… if that's ok with you…" he kneels

"Of course, of course… come in… its getting cold outside…"

"Hai.." they both say

Toushiro and Rangiku enter the fragile grandmothers home

"Soo… tell me.. who is this fine young lady…" she smiles to Rangiku

"Rangiku Matsumoto, at your service ma'am"

"Matsumoto-san… what a lovely name"

Rangiku blushes "why thank you"

"Grandmother?" Toushiro says

"Yes my child?"

"Thank you for allowing us to stay tonight" his head is still lowered when his grandmother puts a hand on his right shoulder, he looks up

"Don't worry about it Toushiro…" she rustles her hand through his hair "Stay as long as you would like to, I don't mind the company" she gives a warm and heartfelt smile.

Toushiro and Rangiku are sipping tea when they smell the stench of a hollow… "Rangiku?"

"Hai" she rolls her eyes "such a lowly hollow will be easy to kill… I'll be back in a few minutes…" she opens the door, closes it and then shunpos off to where the smell is horrid

When she gets closer she notices something is off…

She slows down and is trying to stretch her reitsu abilities to find out if there is any other shinigami around besides her and Toushiro…

"Haineko?"

What do you want? I'm trying to sleep here…

"Does something.. seem off to you?"

Now that you mention it….. no not really.. its probably just you…

"Haineko….." she says in a slightly annoyed tone

Old hag… Haineko says back in a sneer tone

"I'm serious Haineko… something doesn't feel right…"

Haineko gets very quiet… then says Go back to Hitsugaya-taicho… Now..

"But the hollow…"

NOW!... Please.. and hurry… Haineko says with a slightly terrified voice

"Hai"

Is there danger brewing by Toushiro? What was wrong with Haineko? And why was she worried about Toushiro? All these questions will be answered in the next chapter, pwetty pwease fav and subscribe… I LOVE reading reviews, even criticism is nice, as long as it isn't harsh… because even though I'm in high school, I still can get hurt if its really harsh… but I'm starting to overcome that hurdle ever since my ex broke up with me Note to girls… If he ever breaks up with you, accept it and move on, I know its really hard, especially if you were truly in love like I was.. but after a while your heart will mend, it might not seem like it for a while but trust me, as time goes on, it will get easier and the pain will dull to a dull ache… Ok enough talk with downer thing's… How was everybody's weekend? phew... really long paragraph lols
