Hello all I'm back so soon XD well, I wanted to write this for Christmas… so I did, Merry Christmas everybody and a happy 6th day of Hanukkah for those that don't celebrate Christmas, or happy Yule or Kwanza or anything else I didn't mention. XD

Christmas Time

Twas Christmas morning in Seireitei, nobody was stirring, not even a captain, it was a beautiful morning, the sun was just peaking over the walls of Seireitei. After about an hour after the sun was up, Byakuya, captain of the 6th squad, was getting dressed by his personal attendant.

"Good morning Lord Byakuya" the attendant said

"Good morning" he replied back

Elsewhere other Shinigami were starting to rise, it was very peaceful and very quiet when suddenly

"MATSUMOTO!" was heard all throughout the 10th division, probably scarring half of its members awake, the reason why he yelled is because as he entered the office….

"Good morning Toushiro" Rangiku said while wearing a sexy Santa costume, showing off probably more than half of her breasts, shows off all of her curves, and to top it all off she has a super short skirt and a Santa hat.

"Rangiku… what the hell is all of this" he looks around the room, seeing lights and candy canes and presents etc everywhere, even mistletoe "and why are you dressed like that?" he says looking up and down her body…

"well.. Today is Christmas, So I'd thought that I would decorate the office to celebrate… and I thought you would like me looking like this" she smiles

"great.. its Christmas" he says gloomily "no work ever gets done on Christmas…" he sighs and then goes to sit down at his desk where there is mistletoe hanging right above it, Rangiku walks over and kisses him on the cheek, making him blush slightly

"And why did you do that?" he asks

"Mistletoe" is all she says, she then points to the mistletoe "whenever you get two people under the mistletoe they have to kiss, it's a Christmas tradition."

Now Matsumoto, if you wouldn't mind, can you please start filling out paperwork…" he looks up to see that she is gone

"MATSUMOTO!"

"Merry Christmas" was now heard all throughout the Seireitei, the sounds of laughter and joy filled the air, all was peaceful on this day.

"Nanao-chan Merry Christmas" Shunsui said

"Merry Christmas Taicho" she replied and handed him a gift

"Nanao-chan, I told you I didn't need any gifts, but.. oh hell with it" he opens the box and pulls the tissue paper out and looks at the gift in awe "Nanao-chan… thank you" he holds up a vintage bottle of sake.. what else would make him so happy… well.. beyond the fact that…..

"and.. Nanao-chan… I have a gift for you as well" he pulls out a small black box and hands it to her, when he does so he gets on one knee, she opens it and looks at the beautiful custom ring, it is pink and looks like the limiter symbol they would put on when they go to the world of the living (if you don't know what I'm talking about watch the Shojo S opening, the circle of symbols at 1:05, it is the one 2 spots away from the daffodil a.k.a. the 10th division symbol or start from the top and head clockwise until you get to 8) "Ise Nanao, I've known you for a long time now, and I want to take our relationship to a new level…" he looks up at her, tears forming at the edges of her eyes

"Will you marry me?" he smiles

She gasps and smiles "y-yes I will Shunsui" she starts getting chocked up as he puts the ring on her

"It's beautiful Shunsui" she says as he gets up

"Mhm, just like you my lovely Nanao-chan" he smiles and pulls her in for a kiss.

"Toushiro.."

"no"

"but Toushirooo.. please?"

"no, and that's final"

"Geese.. Fine" Rangiku pouts, Toushiro sighs

"alright, you can go" Toushiro says while pinching the bridge of his nose, Rangiku squeals

"thank you, Thank you so much Toushiro, I love you " and with that, she shunpos out of the office and heads over to the 8th division

"Hey Nanao, whats up?"

"oh.. nothing much.. except this" she shows her the ring

"OH MY GOD NANAO!" Rangiku screams, Nanao plugs the ear closest to Rangiku

"calm down Rangiku, its just a ring… that means engagement" she finishes right before Rangiku hugs her tightly

"I can't believe it, my best friend is going to get married!" Rangiku says while letting go of her gasping for breath friend

"Yeah, I know right, I couldn't believe it either while he was asking me!" she exclaims

"we have to show this to all the lieutenants today at the gift exchange"

"hai"

(A FEW HOURS LATER AFTER THE EXCHANGE)

"Matsumoto, may I speak with you in private?" Toushiro asks while she is with her friends

"Hai"

He leads her off into a secluded area when the sun is shining and the leaves are gently blowing in the wind

"May I ask why you wanted to lead me off to here, beyond the fact, alone?"

"yes.. well.. I.." he starts to blush, gripping the small box he has in his pocket

"I've wanted to ask you this for a long time Rangiku, and I think I now have the courage to ask you…" He takes in a big breath, preparing himself to what he is about to ask

"yes?"

"will you.."

A hollow screech is heard nearby and Toushiro says something he almost never says "Fucking hollow" he grabs Hyourinmaru and shunpos off to where he heard the hollow, leaving behind Rangiku with a confused look on her face "will I… what…" she scratches her head "hmm… I wonder…" she widens her eyes when a dawn of realization hits her

"Was he going to ask me to marry him?" she says to no one in particular

So how'd you guys like this chapter? Please review, I accept all reviews with a clear mind… except for flames.. I don't like being flamed… And I wasn't going to have 2 proposals in one chapter, besides, I want to make toshi's and rangiku's a little more detailed. Have a merry Christmas/ Hanukkah/ Kwanza/ Yule everyone!
