Originally Ghosts was supposed to end where I ended, but these days I don't see that many new Jori fanfictions out there, it's like the ship is drowning, We can't let that happen, can we?
So thought "Let's do this."

Tori's heart was racing as she ran down the seemingly endless hallway, her breaths coming in ragged gasps as she tried to outrun the white creature with its four-clawed hands. But it was gaining on her, and she could feel its hot breath on the back of her neck. She looked ahead and saw a looming figure holding a large meat tenderizer, but it was too late. The impact of the blow sent her flying, and she was plunged into darkness.

"Tori... I need you, I need you to wake up and fight, for me."

Tori jumped up again, at a diner, She had some cheap alcohol and ended up at the diner sleeping again, watching the same nightmare she had been getting for more than a month. She saw a woman sitting in front of her, Black short hair, wearing a coat.

"Hmm... Tori Vega" The woman said, " I didn't expect to meet you drunk in a diner, I wished for a more proper meeting."

Tori's head was still heavy from the effects of both the alcohol and the nightmare. She hadn't been getting good sleep because of these nightmares. Dark circles surrounded her eyes as she looked tired and fragile... But still...

"But still, you are a Ghost."

Tori's brain returned to the world as she heard that word from the woman.

"Who the hell are you and What the bloody hell do you want from me?" Tori asked, venom filled in her voice.

"Hmm... I am here to give you this" The woman said sliding a photo in front of her,

Tori looked at the photo, It was Jade's, Jade smiling, that smile made Tori's heart ached in pain.

She couldn't control herself as she almost lunged at her, but her guard caught Tori and pushed her back in her seat. She gave both of them a death glare looking for a sign of their lying.

"Who the hell are you, and what do you want from me?" Tori demanded again, more venom filled in her voice.

The woman hesitated for a moment before speaking.

"Again, What if I tell you Jade West is alive?"

Tori's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Jade's name. She felt a sudden surge of anger, mixed with pain and hope. She wanted to believe that Jade was alive, but the thought of going through the pain of losing her again was too much to bear.

"How...dare...you," Tori said, gritting her teeth.

The woman continued. "There are so many things you don't know, Tori. The nightmares you're having – they're not just nightmares. They're signals, signals from Jade."

Tori winced as she heard Jade's name. The mere thought of her dead love brought back a flood of memories and emotions that she had been trying to suppress for so long. But now, this unknown stranger was giving her hope that Jade was alive, and she didn't know what to make of it.

"Stop lying. I found her dead! She was dead!" Tori yelled.

"Ghosts never die, wasn't it like that?" the woman laughed. "We need you to come with us, help us save Jade."

"The monsters in your dream...they're real, Tori. These monsters are from Jade's world, and she needs you to come back to this world. 'Wake up and fight for me.' Isn't that what she said?" the woman spoke with a sense of urgency.

Tori was taken aback by the woman's knowledge of her dreams. How could she know about them?

"what..how.." Tori couldn't get her words out.

"As I said, there are so many things that you don't know," the woman replied cryptically.

"Enough games, WHERE IS SHE?" This time Tori jumped and tried to grab the woman's neck, but one of the guards grabs her hand, Tori immediately goes GHOST mode, pushing herself on the solder taking his gun from his pocket and firing at the other guard's shoulder, the guard cursed in pain, she was about the shoot the guard who grabbed her but she heard another shot sound. She felt a sting on her neck and looked at the woman who was aiming the gun at her, Tori put her hand on the sting, It was a dart injector.

"I was hoping that you would come willingly, Tori." She said as Tori's vision blurred and the world goes black to her.

"Tori... I need you, I need you to wake up and fight, for me."

"You're awake. Good." The woman said,

"Yeah. Great. Where are we?" Tori glared at her, still groggy from whatever they had given her. She tried to move but found that she was strapped to a wheelchair. Guards flanked her on either side as they took her down a long hallway.

"You're in one of our facilities." the woman explained.

"Who's facility?" Tori demanded

"STEM Corp," the woman replied, unfazed by Tori's aggression.

"Explain,"

The woman took a deep breath,

"The guy you killed on the bridge."

"Jonathan Irons?"

"Hmm, yeah, his SHADOWS and our Stem Corp, were allies, kinda, enemies on terms, Jonathan wanted to control this world. But stem has bigger targets, We want to control people's minds, to connect it as a hive mind."

Tori rolled her eyes. "Here we go again with the bullshit," she muttered.

"This isn't bullshit Tori, We did it, We built a machine that can do that."

"So how is this all related to Jade?"

"The machine needs a core, a human core, specifically a human brain, a powerful one, I suppose you know what Catherine has done to Jade."

Tori nodded grimly,

They were near a tightly sealed door

"Her experiments on Jade made her brain extremely powerful, Her brain can take 10 times the stress a human brain can without having a seizure. Jonathan delivered us Jade and replaced a clone in her place to be killed."

Tori's mind was on fire with the anger building inside her,

"Enough of this bullshit, WHERE IS JADE?"

The door opens and they enter, Tori sees the giant machine with Tubs connected to computers, in the middle there was a capsule tank,

"Jade is in there". the woman said, pointing to the tank.

Tori looks at the capsule, but only by the look of it, shivers ran down her spine. She looked at the woman.

"What makes you think that I won't kill you all, And then get Jade out of that box."

"Even if you do, you will be getting Jade's body out, not her consciousness, her consciousness is missing, it went missing months ago, we've sent countless soldiers in there." The woman said waving around the machine point at the tubs.

"No one made it out."

"Where did you send them?"

"STEM is a world, a world created by Jade's mind. It's not a world where physical body can travel to, your body would be right here." She points at the Tub beside her, but your mind, you, will go down there, in Stem to find Jade, bring her to your extraction point.

"Why don't you send other ghosts to do it?"

"Ghosts will raid this place, kill us all, then save Jade themselves."

"But you, on the other hand, will go in, save Jade and then we will kill you."

"What.." Tori was confounded by this sudden betrayal.

"So even if I save Jade, I die?"

"Yes, but at least, right now, you can save Jade."

"What if I say no? We can wait right here, Ghosts will find me missing, and your game would be over anyway."

"Surely we can, but we know what you and Miss Jade had, your relationship, We know how much you care about her."

If Tori could spit fires out of her eyes, this place would be burning right now.

"Stem's world is a dangerous place, you would not want to get out of your safe place, Jade got out. If you die there, your soul would get stuck there dying over and over again without any way to return to your physical body. So the more time we wait, the risk of Jade dying increases. So now you can decide, whether to go in, or stay back and go through her funeral again."

Tori gritted her teeth in anger, ready to do whatever it takes to save Jade. She had to go into Stem to save her love even if it meant risking her own life.

As she looked on the floor, Tori knew what she had to do. "Get me down that place." She said

Then she looked up straight at the woman's eyes.

"But after I've saved Jade, trust me, you all will die."
